1Right_Angle As soon as she breaks ground I’ll give a shout.
This new strain evolved from a Male txerri bilbo haze from Genehtiks which I provided two years ago now, pollinating a 15 year old strain of Burmese Fighting Buddha Sativa.
I was just gifted these seeds so I’m jacked about what May result !
-Looking good on the 11th

- start of Veg week 1
- this Diary features a Custom Strain that was just bred last summer. Featuring a very secure and Isolated (burmese sativa) Fighting Buddha, this female was Pollinated by a male plant from Genehtiks; Txerri (cherry) Bilbo Haze.
Thats how “Fighting Bilbo” came into being… I know the Bilbo Haze can hit 3meters, and have seen a full Buddha at 7’, so this is going to be a Hearty strain.
This Sativa will be dripping with Goodness

- rough go for FB, toppled on the 6th and she has been fortified lol
14th
- last day of life for the Fighting Bilbo. Both the Fighting Bilbo and Durban Poison have been grown this summer on the edge of a Very wet field. Last summer we did not see this moisture, and it has destroyed their individual systems… when it came time, they did not resist to a single vertical tug, and out of the ground they popped. With only a Fist sized root ball left on the stalk…
Durban Poison had gone Brown overnite, and appears to full of Last-Ditch survival efforts by the Plant.
- both are hanging now. Diaries to reflect this event…
This wonderful cross has had a really tough Summer. When the field was full of corn, we excelled here. This year its beans, and the field is a Bog. Could be the wet weather, could be the moisture uptake of the crop… she is done! Regardless. Only a tiny tug and up she came. No root system
But her Buds are full of candy crystals… tba. Hanging in the garage for a week.
To be Cobbed at that point and put away for a Month or two.

1Right_Angle Fighting Bilbo is a Cross I so badly wanted to see thrive
After a week of hanging, and knowing she was going to be Cobb’d, 2 ounces of buds were rolled into a Cylinder, in Parchment, and Vac-Sealed.
Partner and I ea get a half oz to play with. Burping a jar… smoke report shortly
Oct 1st
- Cobbs were created with the Fighting Bilbo and Durban Poison. Cobbs were Sous-vid cooked for 36 hrs and with no Liquid visible in the Vaccuum sealed packages, I went right i to the next step, of a week wrapped in a 75-83f blanket with a Germination matt.
What is showing now, on day 4, is that there is indeed some liquid being generated, inside the Cobbs. A great sign for sure.
@deFharo,
Limitations are on my part mostly. Next visit (real soon) I will make sure to capture a shot of “OG row.”
7 strains along a nice little ridge next to a Field of Beans 2023
@420DeepGrow, this one hurts the most, cuz its “the” smoke report on THE cross [fighting buddah x Txerri Bilbo Haze] and its just had shit luck all year.
The Buds are looking serious, hope they bulk up for 2 weeks min… tba
Cheers Bro
