Last week of the Frankenstein / recovery room grow.
This was a mixed grow style grow, with plants of three varying ages all going to flower cycle at the same time.
As of this writing the vanilla kush is 187 days old
Midnight mass is 142
White widow is 101
It’s flower day 62 now.
The vanilla kush is the surviving plant from a batch I tried to grow starting January.
It was kept in the dark 10 days after all its sisters died cause I really didn’t know what I was doing., then restarted under my CMh and slowly babied from death over and over s it suffered some issues in nutrient uptake after the dark period.
The midnight mass plant is the runt from the tent grow we just harvested.
I decided to throw the white widow as a test to see what kind of yield I would get on a shorter veg with larger pots from the very beginning, going all the way up to a 5 gallon, and never topping the plant. It has been interesting, and given me an idea that I will try with the next round after harvest these plants.
This entire grow was experimenting for me. With this plant I wanted to see what a plant that didn’t get any topping looked like.
In the end I was very happy with the results, and I have decided that I will add a plant like this in every grow because it is used only indirect light, the plant was never directly under the light. It ended up yielding about 3 ounces at cure time.
I let this plant grow without any defoliation until flowering. It grew long branches, with wide space in between bud nodes. The bugs in them selves nearly all of our identically sized about golf balls or larger, with very limited flat leave to trim. End cola buds are nice sized. The plant has been curing almost 3 weeks now, and has mellowed out while retaining very delicious sticky Pine.
