11-13.04.23: first attempt at outdoor cultivation in my garden.
I put the seed in a moistened peat pellet and placed it in the final pot, but the unusually cold temperatures for this time of year prompted me to remove the peat pellet and place it in a mini-greenhouse made from a bottle, which I placed indoors, in front of a window.
I am confident that germination will take place in the next few days, then I will evaluate what to do depending on the temperatures.
In the meantime, I will devote myself to camouflage work in the garden this weekend.😎🏴☠️
17.04.23: the seed germinated without any problems in the mini-greenhouse. Unfortunately, as I have not yet received the new materials to replace the ones stolen from me, I have had to transplant her into a temporary pot with sub-optimal soil: I hope that, when the new soil and pot arrive, the transplanting will not cause her too much stress.
Day 4: put the plant in her final pot, 15l, in which I put 6.5 pH soil mixed with 37g of Aptus All in One Pellets.
The seedling is growing well and does not seem to have suffered any stress from repotting.
From the fifth day after germination she also spends the night outdoors, when I cover her with the top of a bottle to shelter her a little.
Day 9: the first three to four centimetres of soil were dry, so I watered until saturation point: it drank 4.5 litres of water.
Day 11: I found an insect on the leaves, which had holes; I then sprayed the plant with soft potassium soap.
The plant is growing well, although perhaps a little poorly: it could be the good weather that is slow in coming.
Day 16: since yesterday, the plant has grown 1.9 cm!
Day 20: showered the plant with a mixture of distilled water, neem oil and soft potassium soap.
The plant seemed to be growing well until the twenty-first day, when there was a sudden yellowing of the leaves: I watered with 4,5 l of water, we will see how she reacts.
Day 22: after yesterday's watering, the plant seems to have recovered well, although she bears the marks of my inexperience.
Day 25: watered with 1.5 l water + Plagron Alga Grow + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 27: showered the plant with a mixture of distilled water, neem oil and soft potassium soap.
Cold and rainy week, unfortunately. The plant is doing very well, especially since I gave her fertiliser along with the water. That girl makes me proud.
Day 29: watered with 1.5 l water + Plagron Alga Grow + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 31: visible hints of flowering!!!
Day 32: watered with 1.5 l water + Plagron Alga Grow + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 35: watered with 1.5 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca; showered the plant with a mixture of distilled water, neem oil and soft potassium soap.
This week the plant has grown monstrously and is doing well, despite the weather being cold and rainy. This girl continues to give me great satisfaction.
Day 36: I have the impression that I went too far with the fertiliser: next time (on day 38, I think) I will only give water and see how the plant reacts.
Day 38: the plant is reacting well to the fertiliser, although the tips of some leaves look a little burnt: watered with 1.5 litres of distilled water only.
Day 41: watered with 2.5 l water + Plagron Alga Grow + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Spring weather and temperatures have finally arrived: the plant has had an incredible growth spurt. I certainly won't have a monstrous harvest, but I am confident that I will get there.
Day 43: watered with 2.0 l water + Plagron Alga Grow + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 45: watered with 2.0 l water + Plagron Alga Grow + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 46: watered with 1.5 l of water and that's it: perhaps I overdid the fertiliser in the last few days.
Day 47: watered with 2.0 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 49: watered with 1.5 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
After a final and impressive growth spurt that brought her close to 60 cm, the plant began to focus on bud production. Watching the growth of the inflorescences is indescribable.
Day 51: watered with 2.0 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 53: watered with 1.5 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 55: watered with 2.0 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Flowering proceeds without any problems whatsoever, the buds develop spectacularly.
Day 57: watered with 2.5 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 59: watered with 1.5 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 61: watered with 2.0 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Day 63: watered with 2.5 l water + Plagron Alga Bloom + Plant Succes Orca.
Flowering is proceeding splendidly. On day 63 I examined the trichomes under the microscope (I am unable to post photographs): they are still transparent. I believe, however, that within about ten days it will be time to harvest: at the next watering I will start washing the roots.
Day 65: watered with 3 l of water only.
Day 66: the trichomes are still transparent, but from the colour of the pistils I think it will be harvest time by the end of next week.
Day 67: watered with 3 l of water only.
Day 69: watered with 3 l of water only.
Everything is gong fine.
Day 73: all I can say at the moment is that cultivation was a lot easier than I thought it would be, thanks also to the possibility of consulting other people's diaries. When I have tried the buds I will be able to comment with good reason.
Day 94: tasted the weed after drying and a few days of curing.
It is really smooth in the throat and has excellent flavours of citrus, coniferous and wood.
The effect is astounding, after a few minutes it infuses a fantastic euphoria, but increasing the dose relaxes and makes one sleepy.
I am really impressed by the quality of this weed and proud to have grown it myself.
I think I will grow this strain again in the future, after some further experimentation; I certainly recommend it to everyone, especially beginners like me.
