These are Feminized White Widows from Nirvana. Part of a buy one get one free deal. I started germination in the coco pellet this time instead of a cup of water. Seeds were placed on the 27th of March. They did take a bit to pop but they all made it. As you can clearly see they all popped about a day apart by their comparative sizes. They are going strong. Currently, they are only getting Worm casting tea and worm castings mixed in with the Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil. I'm still using classical music as almost all my plants actually seem to be benefiting from it. Sound waves stimulate growth. Seems that there is something to the science, so I'm going for it. Personally, I hate classical music but the little ladies come first in this relationship. They will all get transferred to larger pots once they have some girth to them. As these are not Autos I am going to do a little LST, topping, Lolli popping, and defoliation. In the past, I've let my White Widows get rather large before flipping to flower, but I think this time ill flip at half what I have done in the past. I'll also be cutting clones from these later on.
Week 2 on the White Widows. No nutes yet. Just purified water and light. I put a vortex fan down at their level to encourage growth in the trunks. Other than that there's nothing much else to do at this stage.
Lots of growth this week. They have all been in 2-gallon Pots and I have transferred them all to 5-gallon pots yesterday. All are doing very well. All have started Cal-Mag and Mystic Dream Blood Root.
No problems this week. All running smoothly. No changes in feedings. Temps are going up here so I've piped the AC into the tents. I topped all of them mid-week and started LST on all the lil ladies this week.
Lots of growth this week. I've added more LST and done some trimming. Nutes are still the same. Cal-Mag and Phos. No issues with deficiencies. I have some white flies popping up but Im bottom watering and using neem oil to kill the little suckers. I'm looking at flippin in the next two weeks depending on the growth. In the past, I've let my plants get rather tall before flipping and Im not going to do that this time.
Growing very well. Had to neem oil some pests this week. We shall see how that goes. Other than that same feeding schedule except I'm bottom feeding now. Did a little defoliation to uncover some tops. Readjusted a lot of the LST ties. and am going to be flipping all but one of them next weekend. I'll be holding off on one as I may have gone a little bonkers on the defoliation and it needs some time to regrow some more fan leaves.
Flipped all but one of these little ladies over to Flower this weekend. Nutes will get changed over the next week or the week after. No major issues with these little ladies. The one I left out I upgraded to a 10-gallon pot. She needs more time to increase the leaf count as I think the smaller pot and root ball were restricting growth. She just wasn't developing new fan leaves af fast as she should have. So with the new larger pot, she should do much better.
So not a good week. My brother decided to water my ladies with highly chlorinated water. I've lost 2 plants in my veg tent. I may or may not lose one of my white widows. After I found out I flushed all my plants for a good part of the day. This has pushed back my flipping them into flower as I will now need to wait to see how this affects them. Then I'll need them to recover from the poisoning.
So I missed a post last week so I am catching up. No changes. I've got some calcium deficiencies so I added a feeding with some cal-mag. They have gained some height in flower and are looking good so far.
Omg I love this pick 😍 I took a really cool picture of my cat Poppa with my plants a month or so ago. Good luck with your grow it's looking good, Growmie 💚
