The bottom leaves are clawing upward, im assuming from the frost conditions earlier in the week. Now going to bump into mid 80’s today. Damn ill take it!!! This is my first time cloning as i usually buy seeds but happy so far with my success. I took 4 from the mother plant, i died, and the other remaining three are still kicking with mine and the other i showed are doing well. With a long growing season ahead i hope the high humidity, catapillars, mites , wpm all stay the hell away from me this summer!
Going good. Did a pm today using Lost Coast plant therapy. Water 2 pints every other day. No nutes yet. Plant almost tripled in size over the last week.
Did another pm with neem oil on both outside plants. Growing like crazy. No rain in well over a week so watered with ~.25 gallon on every other day this week.
So far so good, got a zillion bud sites forming but will definitively need support as this pheno is much bushier and wispy than her sister in the red pot. Fan leaves are much smaller too. Currently smoking her mother , lmao. Top dressing once a week as i used last years soil unnamended
Growing well, oppressive heat and humidity with 110’f days this week. Alternating Monterey insect spray and lost coast treatments weekly. Thought i was seeing preflower yesterday but guess not, fooled again!
Clone is the plant on the left in the photo. Not much to report, waiting to see flowers. Hit with Monterey on tuesday and Lost coast thursday for pm and critters.
Very high humidity this week with hurricanes skirting the coast Lee later this week. Lots of rain so im BT ready . Leaves are dropping and buds are stacking
Rolling along…….notice some defoilization on a corner area near where i grill in the evening, thinking heat or smoke might have gotten it but has only affected the bottoms of a couple limbs.
So a bit of a setback this week to report. We took a direct hit from Tropical Storm Ophilia on Friday/Sat and Monday i had a dead limb. Dont think it was the storm though as it wasnt broken at all so im thinking some type of boring worm or something. Chopped that limb off and havnt looked back. Finally saw some sunlight for the first time in over a week yesterday! Cooler temps i have cut back on water from 4 gal/ day to current 2 gal/day. Still feeding top scratch every 3 days or every three waterings. Keeping up with mold and bug issues, very little of either, Lost Coast Plant therapy and BT are my friends. Hope everyone else is having good harvests this fall, till next week!
Well ive lost two limbs to something now, not sure what but everything that dies from here on out gets harvested! Checked trichs yesterday and mostly cloudy with some clear and no amber yet. Hoping for two more weeks! Thanks to everyone in advance who has followed and helped especially Mr Nonick! Peace, craig
Edit on 10-12-23 . Two more limbs/ branches died yesterday so Im harvesting these. If they keep, dying then ill keep chopping, not sure if root issue or not. Sister beside it is exhibiting no similar conditions.
Well something is continuing to kill my bush, thinking its pincher bugs eating my roots. Think i have lost 7 branches total so far. So when they die now they get hung. Trichs are partly cloudy with a few ambers but still doesnt quite look ready. Week 9 of flower and from previous experience, i know this plant likes up to 16 weeks of flower.
Well, i think her time has come, couple more limbs are succumbing to something and rain in the forecast so i started a partial harvest last night and will continue today. What a journey this has been and i have learned a lot this year. With the whole area around me here in mid atlantic awash in bud rot, these girls are very hardy against it, not one area of it found so far. And this is a trend, other clones I gave away have not seen any but rot either. That is amazing for this area. Thanks to everyone helping me this year. Ill be updating with more photos as they become available i.e.- when i take them, lol.
Notes
1- this strain likes little nutes
2- gradually switch from veg to flower nutes instead of drastic switching all at once.
3- larger pot next time for these monsters
4- ipm regimen
Veg - Monterey Insect spray once a week, Lost coast for mold 2-3 times a week for pm
Flower- Monterey BT once a week until late September, Lost Coast as needed and taper off to rarely used in October
5- 15 gallon pots watering went from 4 gallons a day in August to 1.5 gallons a day in October so keep and eye out.
Well , i gave her the chop last tuesday- thursday and getting ready for trim jail. Weather finally got cold yesterday with massive cold front . Glad to have a break for a couple months! Hope everyone else had a great harvest this year.
Strain is Very resistant to bud rot, of several clones i gave away only one caught botyrias (sp). Fruity smell, absolutely great clean long lasting buzz.
What an nice outdoor grow so far - good job and well done 🤝 never did outdoor myself.
Happy Growing & cant wait for your upcoming weeks 🌱
Ps love your picture with your palm trees haha much love
Cheers, Bud Boutique 👩🌾
@BudBoutique, thanks so much dude! Going to continue chopping this one today and move on to the next probably monday before the next rain. Outdoors is definitively a lot tougher than indoors!!! Thanks for the follow and kind words!
@Pungolian, sounds lovely 💚 know that feeling being in trim jail but just put on some music and do some breaks outside💚 I bet they will do even more amazing after curing
@BudBoutique, I appreciate the kudos friend! Ive been doing bong rips as I have been trimming, pretty hard to resist! Great smoke, just after trimming , super fruity smell, not harsh at all considering and a very cerebral, energetic , intense long lasting high. Love it!
@nonick123, hey buddy- first two limbs i removed 9 days ago are dry, managed 6ozs trimmed bud in jars and 7 oz high quality larf! Sweet floral smell, pretty sticky, no great taste yet but a very nice clean cerebral buzz. Been doing bong rips, listening to music and dancing in between trimming all day! I expect to trim the rest of this plant on friday thru saturday.
@nonick123, hey buddy, you are in luck ! i still have a couple, email me your address and i will gift you! My email is scremin23ftr@gmail.com. Ill Throw a couple local skunks in as well! 😬
@nonick123, i appreciate that ! EC meter will be on my list as well as some mulch, headed to HD this morning! Looks like we are in for a break from the extreme heat tomorrow but severe weather again tonight. As a sailmaker i actually have a piece of a roll im going to make a couple of sleeves from to slip around my pots, great advise!!! Thank you again! “All in now”
La primera foto desde arriba es increible! 😍😍😍
Una maceta más grande supone una planta más grande, así que piensalo bien 😂
Me encantaría probar esos cogollos, y tomar una cerveza con el hombre de la última foto 😁
@nonick123, thank you again my friend! I would love to drink a cold one with you sometime as well! Just sampled one of the buds i cut the other day to check for trichs and although she a little harsh , judging from a couple bong rips this morning she is going to be wonderful! Love to share if you ever travel to the USA!
That bowl trimmer looks very fresh/new. I will throw some two cents your way and you decide if you want to pick it up or not. I have found that tapping/banging on the sides prior to lifting the lid off prevents a lot of build up around the sides. You will see what i'm talking about over time. And I have found 10 clock- 10 counter clock, 5 clock, 5 counter clock is a good amount. No need for crazy speed. Good luck. I still use my bowl trimmer, but I don't always use it for specific plants or tops.
@Dabking, thanks, i noticed the buildup as well. Also found the slower the better, just seemed a little difficult to reverse direction easily. I appreciate your feedback, ready to start all over again!
@nonick123, thanks so much dude! Machine is making life sommuch easier! Most of the smaller nugs pass through the grate and end up with the trim so much better for the edibles too! Have a great weekend!
@nonick123, hey buddy, definitely want to try and stretch this out for as long as I can! Angle of the sun has them getting much less sun now too so i am already adjusting my plans for next season! Hope all is well and thank you.
