Oldsmokyvet This is just a side grow with free seeds I have. I’m growing outside in 5 gal buckets which I know are not food grade. I just wanted to give it a try.

Being this is outside and besides pest, what should I be on the lookout for. Do I just let them go? Is there anything I can do to make sure the grow is successful?

if you going to keep them in containers bigger is better, if you going to transplant into soil line the bed with grass clippings to act as a much and prevent splash back from the soil on the bottom of the plant. They will drink a lot and the pot can become very small very fast. might need to water multiple times a day. and if its black plastic it can become over heated and cause issues. also if they are photoperiods you have to be wary of light sources at night like motion detection lights causing issues in the dark period. this should not be interrupted. autoflowers less of an issue. Good Luck!

Oldsmokyvet I learned that these seedlings need more humidity. Took it up to 75% and they started going.

Oldsmokyvet This is my 2nd try with this strain, 1st was ok but this one had some nice buds. I’m still learning but I finished this the last 2 weeks under 1000w hps light I picked up and I also fed some finishing boost. It ended well.

Breathable fabric pots are good (much better than pails) and like Mouse said bigger pots can be better. Small pots (3 gal) can overheat quickly. In ground is best but 5 or 7 gallon bags for these autos can be moved to direct sun or into hiding if needed. Grow like you would tomatoes and you’ll do fine. Good luck.

@Northern_Ent, I wasn't planning anything special with these but their doing so good I'm looking forward to it. 2 art in 5 gal buckets and one 5 gal fabric. Question, do you recommend leaving in the rain if they are not directly in soil? Oh and only 2 are autos. The white wedding is not.

@Oldsmokyvet, rain is no problem during veg stage. Late flowering you might want to cover but this time of year you’re fine. Could Drill some holes in the bucket sides for air access to the roots. Good luck.
