I put them to germinate in a glass of water overnight, then in damp cotton between 2 plates for about 12 hours until I had roots of about half a centimeter.

I use the Light Mix potting soil from biobizz for the moment and plan to switch to All Mix, still from biobizz, when repotting. Regular watering as soon as the soil begins to become too dry (I weigh the pots to know if the soil is light or heavy). The oscillating fan is placed in such a way that it does not blow directly on the plants. I also added a large tray with water in the bottom and tshirts to have a good constant humidity because it sometimes went below 50%.

Growing well ! They drink a lot of water so I give them every 2 or 3 days when the soil on the surface becomes too dry but not completely. I also found a bug in the tray where I put water to keep a good humidity level, I don't know how it landed there but I put it back outside as quickly as possible so that it wouldn't. contaminates plants.

Beginning of the 3rd week a bit complicated since I must have watered a little too much. So I decided to repot them in bigger pots and water them with clear water 2 days later. As we can see in the photo of 04/05, they appreciated it since in a few hours they were back in shape. From now on I am very careful when I water them that the soil on top is very dry and to water more in the middle than on the edges. I also started the LST on 05/05 because they were starting to get too big compared to the light penetration I have. Finally, I started to perform an HST from 06/05 by pinching the main stems of each of the plants to promote the growth of the secondary stems.

Very good week! The secondary stems have developed really well. I kept pinching the main stem when I saw it was starting to grow back. I also continued the defoliation by pinching the leaves as close as possible to the stem with my fingers, I know it's not the best way to do it because sometimes I also pinched a young node, but I didn't have the scissors needed to do it and I don't see any negative impact on the plant so I'll keep it that way.

Good week. The secondary stems have developed well and the canopy is quite uniform. I installed the flowering neon lights in 2100K and let's go for the 2 months of flowering!

What techniques exist to decrease humidity naturally without something made special for?

There are really only just 2 ways to bring down the humidity. The first option is to bring more air with a lower humidity inside the tent. You need a larger exhaust fan and the air inlet should ofcourse have a lower humidity. The second option is using a dehumidfier. The dehumidfier should at least be able to suck up the same amount of moist that your plants evaporate in able to keep the humidity low. Next to those things it is just a matter of do not overwater and let water sit still inside the tent/cabinet.

Good first week of flowering. The humidity is a little too high for a flowering period, so I added a humidity absorber in addition to my electric dehumidifier, hoping that it will help bring it back to around 40-50%.

Nice week ! I decided to remove the large leaves that were below the canopy but also above which sometimes hid the developing buds. Also I decided to start the HST because some stems were growing too fast, I was a little afraid at the beginning of damaging the plant too much but since the stems have become quite resistant it was not too complicated to do.

Nice week atm. I removed all the leaves below the net and some above because they covered the buds. And I also removed some of the smallest stems because they didn’t want to grow buds it seemed.

The buds still grow very well ! The pistils are longer and longer and the citrus scent begins to appear gently. I wouldn't do any technique from the 4th week of flowering because the stretch seems to be slowing down and I don't want to stress them anymore.

Nothing special to report this week. Everything is going very well and the buds are starting to have a reasonable size. The tricomes are for the most part all transparent, no milky or amber to report for the moment. Another two weeks of fattening then two weeks of root cleaning. Can’t wait to see !

Penultimate week of fattening and the buds continue to grow a little. Still no amber tricomes, that's good since I try to have 85% milky, 10% amber and 5% transparent. After that for drying, they will be in a well ventilated and dry closet but where the temperature will surely not drop below 25°C, I don't know if it's very serious, but in any case I would have to do like that.

The last week of fattening! The buds are very thick and heavy and most of the tricomes are milky, I can even see some that are starting to take on an orange color. Also, some leaves have started to turn yellow and wilt but I tell myself that it is not very serious since I am very close to the harvest.

As I said in the previous week, I stop feeding and just flush the plant with a product specially made for that and it's called Canna Flush. At first I followed the instructions incorrectly and forgot to rinse with clear water after spraying with diluted product water as it was marked. I did it at only 2 waterings at the very beginning of the rinse so I hope it won't have too many consequences.

The water that drains from the bottom is still a little colored from the fertilizers that I gave it. Question: should I wait until the water is as clear as possible or is it not a big deal if the water is still colored and in this case I can harvest the week just after my rinsing

High bro, I doubt that the water is coloured from the nutrients inside the soil. The light brown colour that you see in the runoff water is just from the soil mixed with the water. You can absolutely harvest now and your mimosa x orange punch is ready for it! Enjoy your harvest buddy!

Regardless of what others may say, it is actually better to dry your buds with the leaves left on, this actually improves the drying as most of the water will evaporate out through the leaves rather than through the buds only, which can reduce terpene quantity and/or quality. Dry trimming is not difficult. After trying both methods (wet trimming vs dry trimming) numerous times over the last 40 odd years, there is no way I would wet trim my buds ever again.

Shortly, awesome strain !!!! From seeds to buds everything went well and the taste is incredibly good with those flowery citrus terpenes full of THC. The main mistake I made with this harvest is that I moved my lights too far away, which only have 15cm of light penetration. The result is that I only had small buds with good THC levels but too far from the 30% achievable with this strain. A next harvest is still planned with this strain because I really want to see its full potential!

Awesome grow😎. I think you made a solid choice on strain. I've grown Mimosa Evo by Barneys Farm. The buds were super dense and smelled crazy sweet.💪😄. Can't wait to see the finish ✌️

@EastCoastGrowShow, Thanks a lot 🙏 ! I was a bit nervous in the beginning but after seeing other’s diaries I felt more confident. Still about 5 weeks to harvest and I'm super excited for it !

Are you sure you mean HST instead of topping? To me that looks like topping. Good rule for watering. Water 10% from pot size 24h. So 8L pot = 800ml/24h
Ertomid
Ertomidcommented2 years ago
@Yebis42, I don't really know, in fact I started pinching the main stem without cutting it. Just with my fingers I pinched the two small growths at the end. And I only water them when I see that the soil on top is starting to be dry, so every 2/3 days.
