Not much going on. Germination put in a peet pod. Broke ground today 4-22-23. 4/25 Had to preform a small operation on her.
Low humidity, her shell was stuck on. I was able to remove it and she popped right open. He first set of leaves are visible.
Saw a few people with the same problem and the plant died. With her first true leaves growing some in one day, I think she is fine.
4/26 she was put in a 5 gallon pot with Gaia dry amendments. Too cold for outdoors right now. Purchased s spider farmers light. Going to keep her inside for a while.
4/27 May have had the light too bright. Dropped it down to 50 from 60 percent dim. All her leaves were facing down and now the leaves look like they are starting to come up. Thought at first the leaves were drooping because I had to remove the seed shell.
4/28 She did not have the best start. Her shell was stuck on, plus she was not getting proper light a few days. She seems to be on her way now with the help of a new light. Have not decided if she is staying inside or out.
5/4 Her first set of true leaves are coming in. So I guess I will call her in the vegetation stage. Skywalker was such a sweet child growing up. Haha. She had a bit of a rough start. Her shell was stuck on and she had some cold nights.
She was supposed to be an outdoor plant and still may end up out there. Popped her a bit to early for the northeast. She really seems to love the spider farmer se3000. I do prefer growing under the sun. Other than that she has good color and is starting to pack on some height.
5/5 she is moving along. Turned the light up to 70 dim. She how she likes that. She is sharing the light with a younger cheese auto that is not ready for more power
5/6 life has been hard on this little girl. Turned the light up to 70 dim and she got burned. She is still growing at a good pace. Her single leaves got torched a bit, I think she will be fine.
5/7 she is happy I turned the light down. Growing well.
5/10 bent her over today, lst. Maybe a little early. Her 3rd node is out and she has branches showing.
She had some sun the first few days after breaking ground. She will probably spend most of her time outside. The weather is supposed to be in the 70s for a while. Giving her a few hours of sun today then back under the light.
This strain is supposed to be pungent. We shall see. This is my first mesphito grow.
5/15 Maybe a little early but I did some LST last week. Wanted to try and get her branches growing right away. She twisted like crazy trying to get out of the lst. She twisted so that 1 branch was facing down. So I let her out of the lst for a couple hours. She straightened out some and I put her back in lst. Now her branches are all facing up. Also removed 1 leaf to open the center a little. She is so twisted it's hard to tell how big she is. I do have branches that I hope to LST next week.
5/20 Her branches are really starting to grow. I thought I may have bent her over too early but she seems to be doing great. Will probably have to start tying the branches down soon.
5/24 she seems to be doing well. Branches are popping out everywhere and have been getting tied down. She is almost 4 weeks since broke ground.
5/28 I'm constantly tying down branches and adjusting the ties. The branches are a little crowded, so I have to remove a leaf here and there. She appears to be sexting or at the beginning stage of flower. Maybe almost time to top feed her with Gaia, will have to check on that. Other than that she seems to be growing well. She has good color and her branches are have to be adjusted just about every day.
6/2 she is in flower and doing well. Not sure how I feel about my lst method. Most of the plant is only a few inches above the soil. She is spread out well and with some tucking and defoliation all the sights are getting good light.
6/3 she is stretching and looking good. She received a top dressing with Gaia green today. Her pot was damp. The next time she needs water, she will get some great white and will see what else I have to dump in the pot.
I'm happy with her so far. Top dressing her was a bit of a challenge. She is so low to the soil, that it's hard not to get the amendments on some leaves. Not very important leaves that should probably be removed anyway.
She is in flower, so I can probably take some of the lst spikes out. Let her get off the ground some. Have the light turned up to 80 percent. She has been spending a lot of time outside.
The sky has been so clear for the past 3 weeks.
It's weird there has been no clouds in the sky, until today. She comes inside when the sun starts to go down.
6/4 she seems to be growing well. She is starting to fill the pot and growing up. Buds are coming along, she is starting to be aromatic and smelling nice.
6/5 not much to report today. Cloudy the past few day so she stayed in the house under the se3000 on full blast. She seems very happy, she was fed this week and I expect to see a jump in the next week or 2.
6/7 she is 35 days old today. She has great color and buds look like they're going to be dense.
Mesphito clams this is a pungent strain. I did some stem rubbing and the smell seemed very weak. I have a cheese from seed mafia growing in a 1 gallon 1 week younger and is very pungent. Guess that this could all change.
6/9 she is 47 days old. Her leaves are dark green. The leaves around the dense buds are thin and frosty.
6/10 48 days old. She is spread some what we'll. There are a few lower buds I would have liked to remove. They're there now. She has fine leaves around the buds. So I think they will get enough light.
Maybe I should have tried to lay the branch over more. I did not fill the pot to the top with soil and with the settling. The plant is low in the pot, this makes it harder to tie the branches.
Next time I want to get the plant higher, so I am able to work better under the branches. Very hard to defoliate the plant.
6/16 she is fattening up nicely. There are 2 branches I probably should have removed some of the lower buds. She is really starting to smell nice.
6/18 day 56 this plant is putting out some dense bud. I want to cut off that 1 branch I left too many buds on.
This strain is a 65 to 70 day plant. So she should have at least 20 days left. 3 more weeks and her buds are going to be insane.
Every bud is nice and fat except for the 1 branch. The buds are small but I'm sure by the time it's done they will be nice also.
6/19 she is growing well considering she had a rough start. The first 7 to 10 days she received very poor lighting and cold air. After that she got light stressed, too much.
She should probably be larger. Still learning about these autos. I still have 2 seeds, so the next Skywalker grow should be better.
6/21 61 days old and she is growing well. She is in the final stretch. Just a few more weeks left. I can not believe how fat a few of her buds are. I angled the fan towards her more to make sure she doesn't get mold.
The humidity has been in the low 50s. Still with how fat the buds are I don't want to take any chances. She is so close to finish I would hate for something to go wrong now. Too much time invested and that would simply suck if she didn't make it
As well as she is growing I think she could have been bigger. The first week of her life she didn't get proper light. Still I'm ok with her size, I don't need a ton of bud. I'm happy with getting an ounce per plant. Anymore and I start getting tired of it, unless it is amazing bud that I just can't get enough of
6/26 day 64, she turned cloudy. Can always tell when they're finishing. Plants look darker, like it shut its lights off. Gaia green so no need to flush.
7/1 she has been Chopped. After the dry I will add the harvest. She came out very nice, although she could have been a lot better.
The first 7 to 10 days of her life, she didn't get anywhere near the amount of light needed. She was supposed to be an outdoor grow but it got cold out. So I ordered a Spider farmer se3000.
I still have a few beans, so the next Skywalker will be much better. Still I should get about an ounce of nice bud, which is all I really need. I have several strains going.
