Dusty_Shackleford Day 43 - SCROG net 80% full. Will veg for another 1-2 weeks until net is filled out. EC was drifting up using General Hydroponics aggressive feed schedule. Lowered nutes to medium feed week 4.
Day 49 - SCROG net almost completely full. Defoliated and continued tucking branches under the net. Flipping to flower tomorrow.

Day 56 - Plant has grown 6 inches in 6 days since switching to 12/12. General Hydroponics medium feed plus 1 gallon RO top off every day. Starting ec 2.08, today ec 0.82. On today's water change I will increase nutes and split the difference between medium and aggressive feed. Also increase lighting to 35 DLI.

Dusty_Shackleford Day 64 - Pretty much an even canopy covering every inch of grow space. Slight rise in ec (0.10) using General Hydroponics medium feed schedule and pH only rose from 4.6 to 4.9 over night. Drained 1 gal reservoir water and topped off with a gallon of RO + 6 ml pH Up. Hairs are starting to form into clusters, 13 days after flipping to 12/12. Continuing to defoliate leaves that are too crowed or covering bud sites, but done with branch tucking and will let the plant grow vertically from now on.
Day 69 - Had to chase the pH with pH Up the first three days this week, but it has since stabilized and rising slowly each day. Did some heavy defoliation today and snipped off bud sites and branches that were at or below the net. She's fully into flower and almost done stretching. She doubled in size the first three weeks of Flower and is drinking about 1.5 gallons every day. Tomorrow is another water change and the lighting will increase to 45 DLI.

Dusty_Shackleford Day 70 - She's almost done stretching and starting to focus on bud formation. She grew 12" in the last 7 days and is drinking 1.5 gallons per day. Last week, the pH didn't rise quickly enough on it's own, so I will add pH Up to get her to 5.5 and let it drift up over the next week. Increased light to 45 DLI.
Day 76 - For the last two weeks, I've had to add pH Up for the first 3 days after a water change to get the pH in range. By day 4, the pH starts slowly drifting up like it should. Wondering if getting more oxygen in the water will help better regulate pH

Dusty_Shackleford Day 77 - It's safe to say I let her veg too long for a 6' tall tent. She's 45" tall and still growing. The light is as high as it can go, so at this point I'm bending over branches left and right. After water changes, I've had pH dropping for the first few days. I add pH Up to get it back in check, and by day 4 it starts to drift up instead of down. I'm considering adding an aquarium waterfall to get more oxygen into the water. Maybe that will prevent pH drop. Increased light to 50 DLI.
Day 84 - She grows like a Sativa during flower, nearly trpling in size. In about 35 days of flower, she has grown from 18" to 49". Every branch that isn't on the border of the tent or under the center of the light (where there are no LEDs) has been bent down to prevent light burn. I'm unable to keep the humidity under 67% with the lights on, but that's the nature of humid summers.

Dusty_Shackleford Day 91 - 42 days since flip to 12/12. 53" tall but vertical growth has pretty much stopped, thankfully. Some slight burn on the leaf tips which I think is from pH dropping too low after a reservoir change. Some of the hairs are turning orange and she's packing on the trichomes. I suspect she has another 4 weeks to finish.

Dusty_Shackleford Day 99 - 50 days since flip. Backed off nutrients from aggressive feed to medium feed for this week's water change. Tops are starting to get heavy and require support. The smell is very pungent orange-skunk, with layers of pine and a creamy sweetness. Still fighting a losing battle with average humidity hovering in the mid 60s. VPD is not ideal with humidity this high, but the air circulation seems sufficient enough to prevent mold and fungus. I expect another 3 to 4 weeks to finish.

Dusty_Shackleford Day 106 - 57 days since flip to 12/12. Kept nutrients at GH Medium Feed Flower Week 5. She's still eating everything I feed her and still drinking 1.5 gallons per day. Buds are continuing to swell and some hairs are turning orange, but she's still throwing out lots of white hairs. Extremely strong odor and frosty to the max. I anticipate another 3 weeks to finish.

Dusty_Shackleford Day 113 - 64 days since flip. Lowered nutrients from 1.9 to 1.6 ec. Lowered CalMag from 4 to 3 ml/gal. Plant is still drinking 1.5 gallons of water daily. More hairs are turning orange and trichomes are a mix cloudy with some clear. I can see the finish line. Just another week or two. 90% of the harvest will be dried low and slow for a month in the refrigerator (Lotus Cure) and the rest will be hang dried to enjoy more immediately.

Dusty_Shackleford Day 119 - 70 days since flip to 12/12. We're into the final 7-10 days of growing. Most of the hairs have darkened and receded, and the trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few amber. The smell is strong, sweet, orange/citrus skunk. The colas are dense, frosty, and practically dripping with oil. Sarting sometime next week, I will begin a staggered harvest of the most mature buds, and progressively harvest the rest over the following weeks.

Dusty_Shackleford August 20 - Day 124 - 75 days since flip. Spotted just a couple nanners poking out of some of the most mature buds. Based on the milky trichomes and the tester branch I cut last week, I know I was within the harvest window. I didn't want the nanners to have a chance to pollinate anything, so I cut all of the mature buds, removing about the top 12" of the plant. The buds were removed from the branch and large fan leaves removed as well. Buds were placed into quart mason jars, filled about 2/3 full. They will dry in the fridge over the next few weeks using the Lotus Dry method. The remaining buds will be allowed to mature on the plant over the next few weeks.
Very complex smell and flavor profile. Orange peels, skunk, pine, and coffee are a few of the smells that stand out. The flavor is funky with a kind of chem or burnt rubber taste up front, but a very pleasant orange after taste upon exhale. A balanced effect that can be enjoyed any time of day, but will definitely put you to sleep at higher doses.

Dusty_Shackleford This strain was a pleasure to grow. Be mindful of your space limitations. In DWC, it nearly tripled in size, soaring to 54 inches tall before I was forced bend over the tallest branches. Odor control is essential. This girl will stink up your whole neighborhood. Responds well to training and feeds on the heavy side. Very good producer as well, averaging 1.46 grams per watt of light.
@PapaNugs,
Thanks! I let her veg too long and ended up having to bend over nearly every branch. Live and learn! It smells like sweet orange-skunk with some pine freshness.
