August 20 - Day 124 - 75 days since flip. Spotted just a couple nanners poking out of some of the most mature buds. Based on the milky trichomes and the tester branch I cut last week, I know I was within the harvest window. I didn't want the nanners to have a chance to pollinate anything, so I cut all of the mature buds, removing about the top 12" of the plant. The buds were removed from the branch and large fan leaves removed as well. Buds were placed into quart mason jars, filled about 2/3 full. They will dry in the fridge over the next few weeks using the Lotus Dry method. The remaining buds will be allowed to mature on the plant over the next few weeks.
@PapaNugs,
Thanks! I let her veg too long and ended up having to bend over nearly every branch. Live and learn! It smells like sweet orange-skunk with some pine freshness.
