Decided to transplant and applied LST once again....see you soon!!! Used potting soil with a good amount of perlite to give her roots space to grow. This is my first Velvet Moon hope she turns out great!!!
See you next week!!
Getting her prepared for flower so more nutrients and more sunlight. 2 more weeks then flower mode will be applied. Hoping for huge colas this run and happy there isn't a pest infestation but placed sticky traps to catch anything before flower mode. Feed her a healthy meal, now time to sleep and grow to the moon!!!
Had to tie her down again (LST) and defoliated once again for max sunlight. Going aggressive with nutrients to get her growing to prepare for flower. So far shes loving the meals and no extreme burns which is a good sign of ph balance. Going to feed regular ph'd water next feed and will update soon. Flower mode activated....12 hours on and off until she reveals her true beauty in 2 months. See you on the moon!!!1 One day after 12 hours of darkness a hair popped out.
Defoliated and L.S.T applied, seen balls and got scared but nope shes a girl. I've seen little balls that turn into bud sites...fingers still crossed hoping the whole tent are girls...see you next week!!
Welcome back!!! Well shes looking really healthy and looks like a bit of too much nitrogen with the dark leaves but also could be her genetic make up. No burns or pest so far and keeping fingers crossed. Shes producing decent pistils and growing faster then her other sisters. See you soon until we're off to the moon!
21 days of flower!!! So far everything looks good, feeding her tomorrow. Going to up the nutrients and did a few cuts for clones just incase shes magnificent. See you soon on the moon!
Tio much nutrients possible too much (K) locking out Mg but we'll see in a week. Also too much N causing the leaves to curl.....what a disaster but not too late to fix. Next time less is better!!!
Velevet moon survived out of the bunch!!!! Buds are getting solid, sticky and smelling sweet. Will update soon! One more week untill flushing!!! Can't wait to taste.
Getting solid and developing a lot of orange pistils and the tricomes are lookings super frosty. About 2 weeks left then out to the moon we go!!! Hope its a good grade (quality high), I decided to make Velevet because the flowers looked beautiful to not try out. This will be the last feed then flushed for the next feed. Going to drench it until it reaches a desirable ppm level in the soil. That would make it start eating itself sucking out all the nutrients providing a smooth smoke and a great after taste. When you dont flush you get a better taste and why would you want to smoke nutrients? Gotta make the leave turn yellow then you know its good. This is almost the end and thankfully its been going good so far, see you soon!!!
Almost ready to harvest, shes only getting regular water to flush out the existing nutrients and I might defoliate. Shes smells fruity and the tricomes aren't fully creamy and amber so probably 2 weeks to go.
Finally decided to cut her down and slow dry her for best curing possible, hope shes smooth and give a great medical high. The orange started sprouting maybe if I left it for 2 more weeks it would be all amber and purple. Might try to push the limits more next time. She smeels creamy and fruity....Will update in 10 days see you soon...on to the moon!!!
The plant looks delicious but was expecting more purples but I never created an environment to make it stress to change (cold air) Next time i will put the AC inside the last week to drop temps to get colors popping. Overall im happy with the results and might make again in the future. In a few weeks i will update the taste and highness.
Hey there mate, I recently grew this strain and loved it and noticed your plant is struggling a bit. At this age my plant was twice the size and I think I know why.
I was running my humidity at around 55% at this stage. Yours is WAY too high. So thats why she looks like shes not feeding enough, she cant sweat in the high humidity so she cant drink to replace it.
Drop your humidity to 50 with 60% Max for now and aim for 45-55% in the future ok? Trust me, In a week you will see the diff as long as you feed her-good luck.
@Benzels, i would really say im in week 4 now but i was going according to actual time. Once in tent I say its week 1 since she survived germination. Thanks for the tips!!!!
