Organic Grow; 2 plants; Black Gold organic soil - with fertilizer. Micro-nutes added: magnesium spray (every 2 weeks), boric acid added to soil week 9. Both plants were topped @3 weeks and immediately placed into photo-period. I can say with certainty that the Phlizon 200 bright light provides superior growth, as compared to the florescent (dark light) LED. The flower development on bot plants is superior to anything I have ever experienced. It can be said that is because this is the first time I used topping technique, but I am certain it is a combination of improved lighting combined with the Green Buzz Nutrients.
This is my second time around with the Brainwreck (huge buds this time). I would like to say about the French Macaron - she will sprout a little flower @9 weeks right where the ballsack would be if she went herm. I have heard it mentioned in other forums that the strain is flawed because of the herm ball sack appearing. But it is not a ballsack. She actually sprouts a little flower in the same spot at 9 weeks. The flower has clearly discernible, though tiny, leaves. Not the herm ballsack.
I'm calling this strain - mutant. It did not herm, instead put a flower where the pollen sac would be and the tried to inseminate itself producing the one dead seed depicted. It would have preferred a full herm because it was growing beside a feminized 'Brain Wreck'plant that would have given me feminized seeds. The high is pleasant, but mildly intoxicating. I have read in other forums about the same plant going herm. This strain should probably be discontinued.
Today is May 21 I harvested on May 12. Just getting my day started, got a little shake left over from the last blow yesterday. So I put the shake on my single-hitter, and thats all she wrote.... high for hours. I just realized that the high from this organic grow is so superior and poignant and clear - it is difficult to tell you are high were it not for the tinnitus. I hit my mark with the organic grow.
The quantity of flower produced exceeds anything ever produced to date. Also the composition of the flower was more matured than my last grow, massive amounts of brown pistils by week 12.... but it seems the texture of the THC produced was different, as well. I think it is because the plant was topped. She is still good, but not as good as the first time - despite having more mature flower (trichomes 2//3 white).
Next up, already in the oven (1) Redankoulous and (2) Brainwreck 3.0. This time not topping either plant. Looking for a comparison to match the THC level of 1.0 and the quantity of 2.0. Hopefully under the improved bright lights. Nutes not changing. Soil not changing.
