Pheno #7 and #4 showed the most desired traits and will be running both indoors iagain the coming weeks under better conditions. I didnt get as much photo's as promised but things have been hectic on all fronts, but I will do better next time ;) Its a pitty we had some issues and not all phenos where in a position to show the true potentail. There for we are running the 5 with re-running outdoors this season. Along with some new beans :D

UVB is 280nm - 315nm. UVR8 universal resistance locus 8. 95% of stress response from uvr8 protein happens at a peak of 285nm. The response at 285 is 10x that of 290nm. The curve is extreme. Anyone that says UV doesn't increase thc are both right and wrong, well technically it doesn't directly increase but it does dramatically increases the concentration of trichomes in order to better "sunscreen" itself from exposure. It's important to find out the peak NM emitting from the bulbs otherwise no point in using peak 310nm. UV doesn't use a photoreceptors like other colors of light. It uses a salt bridge dimer for detection, and requires very little exposure to burn the salt bridges and activate uvr8. 3x24w I'd go with 2 hours to start, really should be done from start of flower. Fluorescent bulbs are coated inside with ...... Some shit I forget, each time you turn it on it burns out a little. Some treatments advise multiple on offs per daylight but this will destroy your bulbs ultra fast. The way UV is measured is in dosage over time, I imagine you could possibly overdose given your mid flower Be sure to supplement blue light or add a little veg spectrum, blue light is used to drove a DNA repair mechanism called photoreactivation. Applying UV with no blue is a death sentence. The 285nm photon breaks the salt bridge dimer, damaging DNA helix. Using blue light the plant converts blue and violet light to create enzymes called photolyase. These accelerate DNA repair allowing the plant to repair 100% of helix damage. DNA itself may be a photoreceptor, the UV needs to "burn" in order to gain access. UV light is responsible for control of hy5 (elongated hypocotyl 5) this is more or less the central hub network for everything else, The firmware. Welcome to the wonder of Ultraviolet.

Looking great! You'll have to comment on whether you noticed any difference with the UVB lights added!!

@DeepSouthDank, gotcha. I plan on getting the UVB lights from Migro myself so I'll be follwing to see how you do it and the result. Thanks for sharing!

@PapaNugs, Thanks homie! ahh its so hard to say because these are new pheno's in the tent, but I think it has made slight difference. Next time we will have a much more efficient UVB grow light - Migro UVB 310 UV Booster, that we will be using from the start of flower, with select 2 keeper pheno's, in SCROG so keep an eye out out for that 😁

Get bigger pots next time. Tho they look good πŸ‘

@DeepSouthDank, as long as your irrigation is dialed in, it's fine. Still more exposed to potential problems. I even dont use coco anymore. Rockwool is much less headache, less work, more cheap and always perfect fed. Give it maybe a try with 1 plant in one of your next runs.

@drrrt Thanks man! I have grown big buds in 5/6L pots. When feeding with a multi feed drip system, you can got relatively small. The Idea behind it is you want them to drink up before the next feed. We are feeding 5 times a day while lights are on in coco/perlite with hydroponic salts. The lights we were using before the Fluence Spydr were faulty and we only made the change 2 weeks ago which I am sure main culprit hindering the bud size. Next run we are going to do 4 plants same space but maybe 10 liter pots and SCROG. This run is purely to pick keepers :) However another run of them all is probably needed as this grow hasn't been perfect :P

@KAPT_SAVE_Da_HOE, Thanks brother! Fruity yes, but more candy - jelly babies, sour worms, fanta grape and bubblegum. The terps are absolutely amazing 😱
