Started out a little rough. I think it got dry in the pellet before I potted the thing. Either that or was from raw dogging tap water that I sprayed on it. The others in the tent didn’t seem to mind maybe she’s just the sensitive type. Regardless now I pull all my water from a 5 gallon bucket that I’ve run a bubble stone and air pump in for 24 hrs or more. I’m hoping this will help gas off any chlorine and add some extra oxygen. Also if I’m not adding the base nutes I adjust ph to 6.5. I almost dropped a new seed to replace it but decided to give her a chance. Glad I did she seems to be recovering nicely.
End of week 4 beginning of 5 update…
I was out of town for about 4 days so before I left I got the plants set up on some AC Infinity self watering pot bases hoping that the roots were long enough to get what they needed. Came back to a healthy FIM recovery and the first pistils showing. Took off a couple of the biggest leaves to let light through and did some LST on the branches that looked ready. Also I raised the light to 24” off canopy and bumped it up from 60% to 70% power.
Definitely flowering now. Did some defoliation and got everything tied down where I want it. I bumped the light up to 80%. Probably keep going up 10% every week if no issues pop up. Just playing the waiting game now!
Well she about doubled hight this week and is forming buds nicely! I’m keeping a light defoliation routine going to avoid shading bud sites. That’s all for now
The buds are a little on the leafy side bud dried very firm and are completely coated in trichomes. I’ll definitely be growing this strain again. The smell is really unique and hard to describe. Kind of skunky piney earthy I guess is probably my best attempt to describe. All in all I’m happy with this grow. Didn’t do a wet weigh in but trimmed and dried I ended up with a little over 2 1/4 oz. Buds are curing in grove bags so in a few weeks I’ll have a smoke report.
