I'd like to first say thanks to Kannabia for the seed donation! We had a few hiccups getting them to Canada but in the end Kannabia came through and patience prevailed. My overall experience with the staff was very pleasant and I felt they handled things in the utmost professional manor. If nothing else I would recommend them just on that experience alone. So if their seeds are anything like their customer service I have no doubt they are going to rock my world. "Est in 2008 Kannabia Seeds is dedicated to cannabis seed growers and marijuana. Influenced by the concerns and suggestions of cannabis cultivators they have spent years developing systems that ensure the best cannabis strains and the optimal development of their strains." With an opening statement like that who can resist the temptation to try something that clearly has so much time a love put into it. Come with me and follow along on this journey as I put the Break-up cake through its paces and show you guys what this strain is truly capable of!

First week went smooth. Had a little bit of a stretch but I had the par way down while I was finishing some clones so that's on me. Got the clones out of the tent mid week propped the plant back up with some substrate and cranked the par up to 300 which she seems to love now.

Good week of growth, its seems to have stopped towards the end of the week so I may have some issues. It's a little early to tell so I'll just keep an eye on things and go from there.

So...... I stunted the thing, I was so disheartened to see this. I know the root cause though I choose a living soil that got to compact after its initial watering. I hummed and hawed about what I wanted to do with the plant for a week and finally came to the conclusion that I'll keep it going, even though its only goin to be a wee guy it will still be rewarding to see it through. I'll launch a second attempt soon and run a parallel diary with an increase in coco to account for the harder substrate of the living soil and see if that resolves the stunting issues. Wish me luck!

Decent week, color is great. Just gradually tucking leaves as this thing chugs along. It's starting to show signs of early flower, the calix are pushing pistils now so I'd say this is the last week of veg for this girl.

Good week, the plant transitioned nicely into flower with no issues. Added some carbs to the water mix to help with some of the nutrient uptake. Just a wait and watch game right now.

Shot up this week! The minor tip burn indicates I can most likely back off the mix I made, which could also be another indicator for why I got such a slow veg period from of her. So in conclusion for the next run soften up the substrate and dial back the pot mix for best results.

She's doing great! I lollypopped the crap out of her then gave her some kelp and a bottle feed to help her recover faster. Re-tucked some of the longer branches to spread out the canopy, this will be my last bit of fuckery untill the last two weeks of flower. Definitely enjoying this stage of growth from this plant.

Excellent week of growth, she recovered nicely from the lollypop I gave her last week. It's basically at the water a wait stage for me from here on out. There will be a few odd things to do but its off to the races now!

I guess I jumped the gun when I said I stunted her. I had just finished several XXL autos so my comparison basis might have been a little off. I'm very impressed with the growth of this auto once it hit the flowering stage. It's starting to give off some really nice smells and it's getting me excited for what she's going to smoke like when she's done.

She's getting fat now! Man I can't believe the growth in the last week, it is just stacking nugs right now like a true champ! This girl is going to be a delightful treat in just a few short weeks and I personally can't wait to to hit it..

Growing, growing, growing! This plant is really chugging along now, the bud structure is starting to excite me and the smell is really starting to come in. These are exciting times! I can literally see the buds fattening up by the day, I turn into a kid at this stage in the sense that I get so excited I cant wait to smoke some. It's like it's Christmas and I want to open my gifts now! But like a good little boy I'll wait, because I know the reward will be so much better in the end.. It's going to be a happy dankmis in the beaverjuice house hold this year. Happy growing you animals!

So exciting right now watching these things explode every week. Very pleased with the pot mix I used, this far into flower and zero fading makes this grower a happy man. I'll definitely use the same mix next time but I'll soften up the substrate a tiny bit to really increase the amount of growth in the veg period. If I can nail the first 4 weeks it'll really take this strain full beast mode. Even so I'm very pleased with this plant thus far, shout out to Kannabia for the excellent work in the R & D department.

It's been a rough week. I had to sneak away for some networking at a cannabis conference this weekend and left the watering to my oldest. I can tell you already know the rest of this tragic tail. They went without water for 5 days and look like absolute dog poop now, upon arrival back from my trip I immediately went into panic mode. I gave them a full dose of nutes and kelp to help them bounce back and hopefully got to them soon enough that I'll be able to limp to the finish line. The break up cake took less damage than the auto ultimate but I'm still disheartened to say the least. I'm not angry just disappointed ;)

Well she seems to be ok after last weeks ordeal. I think I'll defoliate this week to get some better light penetration to help her finish off. I suspect with almost drying out completely last week and this weeks aggressive attack on its canopy will slow down my finish time. Regardless of this fact I feel this is the best course of action to get the most out of my final yield at this time and the benefits out weigh the costs. Updates will follow.

This is the plant that never ends! Yes it goes on and on my friends.. I started growing it not knowing what it was and I'll continue growing it forever just because. See what I did there?

It was a great call to defoliate I'm already seeing the benefits. The only unfortunate parts is the added time, she seems to be progressing at a steady rate none the less and it will be harvest time before I know it. The smells coming off the stem rubs are very enticing and have this seasoned grower super excited for the smoke report!

First of all let me state that I wouldn't want anyone turned off of growing this plant because of the extended flower time that I'm experiencing. I've had a few grower errors that accumulated in the extension of it's finish. I'm but human after all and let's face it shit happens.. The smell emitting from this beautiful specimen is mouth watering to say the least, I love watching it fatten up daily. she's been through a lot to get here so I have a feeling she's going to reward me with some rather tasty smoke at the end of this adventure. Kudos to the team at Kannabia for throwing this one together, the amalgamation of the the Girl scout cookies and cherry pie come together to make something really special for all growers.

Ooooiiieeeee! This plant is awesome, she's fox-tailing a little bit now so I'd say this is the last week for this plant. I can't wait for the smoke report on this one let me tell you.

Well I didn't harvest, got busy doing other things, I'll have to fire it off sometime this week after work she's definitely ready. There's a bit of fox tailing, most certainly because I pushed the bit%h. Can not wait for this one!

Great smelling plant, had a slow start in veg but she took right off in flower. Little bit of foxtailing at the end as a result of how hard and long I pushed her overall it's a pretty decent little auto can't wait to smoke some.
