I germinate my seeds using seeds wrapped in paper towel and soaked with water with a small cap full of hydrogen peroxide mixed. I then place the folded paper towel in a plastic bag filled with warm air and place it in the dark for 48-72 hours.
Everything is growing as planned for the moment. I raised my lights up to 30 inches this week with the dimmer set at 35% . I have given each plant around a gallon of water through out the week
This week I topped my plants, 3 out of 4 went as planned. I switched my light cycle to 18/6. and increased the dimmer to 40%. Fed each plant about gallon of water. Next week I plan on introducing nutrients .
The plants are growing quite steady, I am noticing new areas for potential bud growth. I did cause some unnecessary stress on one plant in particular due to over watering. The plants seemed thirsty so I watered them two times 4 days apart with about 3/4 gallon each time. The first time was just water, the second time I added nutrients. So far they seem to be responding well, the tallest plant has grown to be 17 inches and the shortest is 13 inches. I plan on putting up a trellis next week and rearranging the tent.
This week went fairly well, made a few changes. It seems I may have ended up giving the plants too much water and nutrients last week. I fed once this week and I dialed back the big bloom and grow big but added tiger bloom. Also gave each plant .5 gal of water instead of .75 gal each watering. I left the lights at 40% this week but I installed a trellis and moved the lights higher to try to accommodate the new growth and not cause light burn.. The tallest plant has jumped to 28 inches tall while the smallest plant is now 17 inches tall and I am continuing to see new bud sites appear everywhere.
All the plants look healthy and have begun budding. The tallest plant has grown to 34 inches and the plant that got fimed is staying shorter then the rest at 21 inches. The biggest challenge has been dealing with the temperature fluctuations.
Everything is going well, the plants are growing fast and the buds are developing quick. I removed the trellis this week to make some spacing adjustments. I raised the SF-2000 light to about as high as I can go due to plant growth, I have left the dimmer at 40% for both lights. I fed the plants nutrients once this week and gave them water 3 times total. I used about a half gallon of water per plant each time. I plan to adjust my nutrients next and switch from using open sesame to beastie bloomz The tallest plant is 41 inches tall while the shortest has grown to 23 inches tall. The plant I FIM'ed has stayed much shorter and is more bushy then the others.
Plants are doing well, they grew only a few inches in height but they have started to fill out. I made a small change to my nutrients this week and stopped using Open Sesame and switched to Beastie Bloomz. Each plant was fed nutrients once this week and like last week I watered 3 times with about .5 gal of water per plant. I swapped my plants on the left hand side of the tent, putting the smaller one in back closer to the fan and the taller one in front to create more space from the fan.
Plants didn't grow much in height this week mostly just packed on bud growth. I am starting to see a little more yellow in my leaves then I expected at this stage. I dialed back my lights to 35% and checked the PH run off and it seemed to be a little low so I am going to stop using the PH down and see how the plants react. I fed them the same amount as last week besides I gave a tsp less of the grow big this time around.
This week did not go as I would of liked, 3 out of my 4 plants continued to show more yellowing with leaves falling off in different areas from top to bottom. I dimmed my lights another 5% to make it 30%. I flushed the problematic plants first using sledgehammer then waited a few hours and used straight water until the run off was between 300-400 PPM. On a positive note despite all of my shortcomings I am still seeing steady bud growth on each plant.
As for the 4th plant, I fed it the same amount as the previous week and everything continued to go as planned. It packed on nice bud growth with hairs starting to turn orange. I have some minor yellowing at the bottom but nothing compared to the others. I am starting to notice a pleasant fruit smell in all my plants as well.
I left the plants alone for the most part this week, I fed them water a few times using about .25 gallon of water each time. I didn't give my plants any nutrients this week besides a small dose of Cal Mag because I have soft water. It is looking like 2 of my plants are about finished with the other 2 looking to be a couple weeks behind. The plant with the biggest buds has turned out to be the plant that got Fim'ed instead of topped but overall I am happy with each plants bud growth.
The plants are nearing the end of their journey. I flushed 2 plants at the beginning of the week for a final watering. After a couple of days I took the same 2 plants out of the tent, put them in 48 hours of darkness and then chopped them down. Once I have everything trimmed up and weighed I will post harvest weeks. The other 2 probably will be cut down in the next week or so.
The 2 remaining plants I have only fed with water twice this week with around .5 gallon per plant, I will follow the same process to harvest with these 2 plants as I did the other 2. A big flush at the end for a final watering and after a day or so put them in darkness for 48 hours before chopping down.
I chopped down the final 2 plants today. The pictures posted from this week are before I put them in 48 hours of darkness. I followed the same process as I did with the others. A final watering, wait a few days for them to dry out and then 48 hours of darkness before harvest. I will post Harvest reviews once I have everything taken care of.
I thought this strain was fairly easy to grow I did run into some issues with yellowing mid flower which I think impacted the yield but the quality was still good.
