SE5000 Sideways Lemons.

New Spectrum. The IR/UV was taken out. And I think rightly so. If they were independent with their own switches, yes but far reds promote to much stretching in pre flower. So, this new Spectrum is new and redesigned to give a more prominent bush. With very tight inters on my sativas. (Decided to do 2weeks Updates with these diaries. You see how much they've progressed and I can go into more detail and fixes and so on all on 1 update( Days 15-28 Veg Days 10-23 weeks 3&4 Growth was rapid and learnt a lot growing in co2 with this strain. I was hit by 2 low feeds of 4.5ph..(Terpinator + pure zym feeds gave 4.5ph) she has seemed to weather it well. But as she is big. She drinks a lot .7L a day. I was able to fix this girl quickly. You can see she is having heat stress at the sides. So, would you if you were trapped in area heat of 34-35.5c for 18hrs. Co2 has helped push the plant along with a rapid pace of growth. I decided to top her late on Day 14-15 and the top small shoots are now fully grown nodes, she's is super lush and healthy. Yes, she has war wounds from mistakes. Growing in co2. The response time to light issues can be full on issues (that look Days when a wk old) within 12 hrs even after you applied the fix. But, you notice that its actually just showing the issue later down its stage of growth. But, its fixed, as if it wasn't id a the issues and no, or poor growth. But, the fixes were quick. Shes exactly 28 days old. And I reckon she's gonna do a bit of stretching just before she starts showing stigmata (early pre flower signs over the next few days, no doubt at the end of wk 5 you'll see a plant coming or even in pre flower) she is growing really well. Happy and light signs of heat stress is nothing compared to the rapid growth I'm seeing. Stomata vents are still open, meaning my leaf temp is below 32c, my area temp can exceeds 35c on my hot days. Plant is 32cm tall at its highest and yet to come into pre stretching before pre flower. There's lots of good growth. I'll let it grow out this week. And go in and see is there anything that needs to be taken ie Light Lollipoppoing and clearing of the end a little. Although with good LST that will be applied this week and into pre flower upwards growth to get the best out of this girl. Diet Everything that's up above is given the past week. Alga Grow was given in week 3 and pult at the start of wk 4. She's pushed through on what's provided. I've dropped Terpinator as its not needed with Sugar Royal. Co2 (my way of learning it 1st) I've taken a different approach. And it's done me great. As I've many grows at different stages. And I know when my plants are suffering, or need adjustment. So, I pump 1300ppm and when it hits 800 I get a beep. And I adjust it at my leisure back up to that. Maybe if I kept the levels steady at 11-1200 I would see more explosive growth. But, until. I fully grasp and get what's needed with co2 growing. Its like pro growing x2 is needed. And, I'm a lil ways off. So by doing it this way. I know how quick my plants eat. And when they're suffering. Co2 intake usually drops off 30-50% coming on hr 16-18 some days. So I'm not hitting peak conditions these days. But 80% of the time. I get full co2 intake until lights out. Light drop offs as gets closer to resting time. But, DLI isn't really regarded as important, as you can push your plant to the max DLI within reason if you match the PPFD / lux with the PPM of the co2 + sugars & enzymes with great canopy ventilation. You're in for 50-70% speed in growth and at least 50% bigger phenos (autos) but, I'm far from hitting the peak personally tools needed to get the most from co2 growing. Once I fully get what's required I'll let up the system fully automated. But as it is. I see exactly how quick the ppm drops from 1300 to 800. Yes, I have an exhaust set. But its all set up on a closed loop. And expelled co2 is intake back into the tent from negative seal. So, I get exact intake results that have pushed my knowledge of growing, and the importance of spectrums, heat, ventilation, sugars & enzymes and most importantly DLI. Seeeing plants in ambient conditions stop eating fully at 8hrs in as their max DLI was reached in 500co2 levels. Really have learnt so much. Pro leaf controller and sensor used. And I've the system their to go fully automated. But, I like my system, as I'm not fully up on my knowledge of growing from what I've seen in ambient conditions. And DLI and other things.
