Soaked seeds in .5L of water with a light nutrient mix of .5ml per L of Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow and Bloom. After 24/34 hours, soaked 6 rockwool cubes in same ratio of nutrient mix. Placed all 6 seed in individual rockwool cubes for germination. After 3 days, 5 seeds popped only one did not show signs of a taproot. On 5/21/23 placed all 5 seeds under humidity dome,16 hours on/8 off light cycle in 2x2 Mars Hydro tent with a Mars Hydro TS6OO at 2ft 3in from seedling canopy. DLI is @12.3 mol/m²/d and PPFD is @209 μmol/m²/s.
Week 2 was experiencing some light burn from the distance of the TS600. Following the photone app recomended DLI cost me some time, fixed back to the distance I had before to regulate the issue. Will be keeping them in the cloner untill the 3 inch grodans get her from Amazon. In the next few days will be transpalnting to the drip system under a stronger light for veg. These babies are 3 weeks on 06/11/2023. Will be following the Advance Nutrients autoflower feeding untill the General Hydroponics Maxi Series gets here. Trying to keep everything simple as possible to create the least amount of stress for me and the girls.
Work in progress however I finally was able to get the girls into the drip system. They have recovered nicely from the light burn but unfortunately I lost one of the girls. Now I am working with 4 and so far happy with the results. I am waiting on a better light, I ordered a 720 watt bar style light from Alibaba which will arrive in just a few weeks hopefully before flower. Still need to get the room in order so more to come on improvements. Switched to Gen Hydro Maxi Series just for the simplicity. We will see how this goes.
Switched from AN to GenHydroponics Maxi Series. Currently using Maxigrow at the rate of 1 tspn per gallon. I have seen a little bit of clawing down on the leaves and the new growth coming in is a little darker green than the rest. I might have to top up with plain water today or tomorrow to dilute nute water. The girls have progressed nicely from seed these last 3 weeks. I will need to get me a portable A/C. Weather where I am is humid and rainy which constantly keeps me on my toes with the VPD Chart. Might have to run these Greenpoint Seeds Wedding Cake Auto's again, I like how they grow.
ThIs week went by with slow growth or I is it that I am constanly checking in on them that I think I see nothing happening. Well I topped off with plain PHd water @6.0. I beleive that cured the clawing down of the leaves since they perked up. One of the girls looks like she topped herself. She is bushy with many bud sites popping up everywhere. Today marks 35 days to date since seeds popped. I made a DIY fungicide by boiling cinnamon sticks in water. Used that with a combination of raw neem oil and couple drops of dish soap to spray at night for any flying pests. Also made a foliar spray of armor SI and Cal Mag.
Did some light defoliating to clear some big fan leaves out. They have really stretched out a little. These girls are nice and leggy. Some leaf curl going on, not sure if it is from the light being too close. Topped the rez up with a gallon of fresh nutes.
Well I missed one week posting because of no time. Started the scrog a week later than planned. Next run I will start the scrog from 4 weeks into veg to see if there is a better outcome. Started the bloom nutrients on the girls and some super cropping. Have to do a little more defoliation. Cleaned the room from top to bottom and did some preventative care for any bugs on the girls and in my soil grow too.
