Terp_Djiny Grandma sent me something nice to test again. This time I put the seeds directly into Jiffys. I soaked them with water and a bit of enhancer from Green House Feeding. 9 out of 9 Great germination rate.

Terp_Djiny The first week of growth is over. The little ones have made a great start. For potting, there was 5g of Dynomyco per pot and then 350ml of pH adjusted water. Pheno 4 is showing signs of a mutation.

Terp_Djiny The second week of growth is almost over. Since the little ones are developing so quickly and have already reached the 4th or 5th node, I've decided to cut the tops off. Now the little ones can become a bit bushier and continue to grow slowly. On Sunday, I'll post the weekly wrap-up picture.

Terp_Djiny The growth is progressing rapidly. The little ones haven't been bothered by the topping and have continued to gain mass without pause. After the topping, the lower shoots have all nicely caught up, and a canopy is slowly forming. I think in two weeks it will be time for flowering. Otherwise, there will be space issues again. Maybe the little ones will even show their sex before that, and I won't have to search for pollen sacs as much later.

Terp_Djiny At the beginning of the week, I cut out the large sun sails. The lower shoots should also get some light. By the middle of the week, I gave the first fertilizer. The new leaves are showing slight deficiency symptoms. Towards the end of the week, I got to water again since the temperatures have climbed back up or are still quite high.. I hope that some sex characteristics finally show up over the next week. I would like to cut the first clones..

Terp_Djiny The week was good 👍 The little ones have practically exploded since arriving at their new home. I wanted to switch to 12/12 by the end of the week. But I repotted again because I probably can't water every day. Pheno 2&4 have already been eliminated due to male pre-flowering.. See you next week!

Terp_Djiny Repotting and taking clones have gone well for the 7. So far, it looks like they are all female. The pre-flowering definitely suggests that. Throughout the week, I will set up the SCROG net and then weave the stretch into the net. That's my plan, anyway.

Terp_Djiny Hello everyone. The first week of flowering is over. As the pre-flowering has shown so far, the remaining 7 plants are female. The stretch has already gone up quite a bit in the first week. Almost 40cm. I only mixed in the fertilizer around the middle of the week. 3g per liter of substrate. A nice mycelium network has already formed in all the pots. Now it’s just a matter of watering. At the end of next week, I will thin out the lower parts and the larger sun leaves.

Terp_Djiny I hope the stretch is over. I can't raise the light any higher. Two of the seven phenos are already turning purple, the rest looks pretty green. I'm actually a bit happy about that. This week there was also some enhancer again. Next week, I'll be defoliating. Looking back, using the net was pretty pointless.

Terp_Djiny Hey everyone, The week started off well and just kept getting better. At the beginning of the week, I found a pollen sack on two phenos, in the lower area where there's not much light. So, I pulled out the scissors and started cutting out some sun leaves at the top to allow more light to reach the lower levels. I also thinned out a bit at the bottom to prevent any potential pollen sacks. I watered twice a week, Thanks to the organic fertilizer, just 1.5 liters of water per pot again.

Terp_Djiny The week was great, hardly anything to do. Watered three times and otherwise checked every day for pollen sacs and bananas in the buds. Didn't find any. For phenos 3, 6, and 8, half of the hairs have already turned brown. Since I can't find any pollen sacs, I'm just hoping for the advanced age and the resulting maturity of the flowers. They still have 2 to 3 weeks left.

Terp_Djiny This week, the buds have continued to gain mass and weight. The scent is truly enchanting. I really don't want to close the tent anymore... It's really like an orange grove. The play of colors that is now happening in the tent is also very nice to see. My personal favorites are the last three phenos: 1, 3, and 6. I'm only watering with plain water now.

Terp_Djiny That was the last week of the flowering phase. The trichomes mostly have milky heads. Some are already amber-colored. I think the harvest is ripe. This week, there were two more waterings with plain water. Otherwise, the sun leaves have surrendered to the course of nature and developed beautiful colors. Some have already fallen off in the lower area as well.

Terp_Djiny I really liked the growth phase of this strain. Out of the 9 seeds planted, 7 were female. Of these 7, 4 strains developed pollen sacs, with one sac per pheno. Luckily, I was able to remove them all before they opened. So, no pollination could take place. 2 phenos turned purple; one very dark and the other just slightly with green hints. 2 of the green phenos had purple tips, and the rest were completely green. When I opened the tent before the harvest, the smell filled the house within seconds. Like being in an orange grove. After trimming, the buds are hung up to dry and then go into jars.

Nice start 👌👍 I find the seed company very interesting; they have a small but fine selection of regular seeds. Are you satisfied so far? Are the seeds stable? Is it worth buying there? I'm asking because I might want to switch to regular seeds, and what’s written on the website sounds really good.

Terp_Djiny commented3y ago
@w33dhawk, thank you. So far, I've only grown R&D, so test seeds from Grandma's. They have been very good and stable so far. Of course, there are always exceptions, but they only confirm the rule. I'm more than satisfied. The Gelapurt was one of the best strains I've grown so far.. I can only recommend Grandma's Genetics.

The say you described the smell has me intrigued. I grew 5 autos and the smell didn't know me down or scare me like I figured it wit. You said this filled the house within seconds now that's the strains I'm looking for. The loudest, scare you to death strains. Making you check your connection on your carbon filter kind of strain! Please fill me in on all the strains that have been super smelly that you've grown! btw BEAUTIFUL gals. Absolutely gorgeous 😍
