Bunch of awkward toddlers coming out of transplant but are looking good! Just my luck thought - one runt of the litter. She's not fallen over and has stayed strong and keeps putting out small leaves as you can see. So it's probable that she'll pick up just fine when the roots get situated in the new environment and get a little bigger. ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Topped a day prior to this entry. LEDs bumped to 100%. Varying shapes and size but are looking healthy and all set for mainline training! When Topping I noticed two plants bleeding purple??? Didn't know that could happen, but there you have it. From what I gather this is a strain that can go either way on color and in varying amounts, so we shall see! Forgot to snap pictures before topping, my bad! (all ~9-11'' beforehand) Runt is still pushing out foliage and even has a couple inches of taproot, so we dropped the water level with all the others and aren't giving up on her! Solid chance shell explode with the rest of them soon enough. ~~~~~~~~~~ First small bit of defoliation - this grow I topped at 4 nodes, and we just did away with the bottom larf leaving the middle two sets of nodes. Rather than a traditional mainline I'm going to stick with this (like with a few past grows) - its less time and stress with the same end result :) Tie downs are next! Just in case this runt doesn't take off I took a cutting and planted an extra bean - might see a diary for whichever one is doing the best in a couple of weeks. ~~~~~~~~~~ Was thinking maybe these gals were just a hungry strain or a bit light - but i notice that Its week three and I didn't up the PPM like I normally do. Thats my bad, I redid week 1 and 2! Not a problem whatsoever, just missing out on some growth and will have some lighter foliage until we get things bumped up! ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Gals are taking off! Thinking that this method of mainlining is the way to go for DWC. Keeping it all on the same nodes is just counterintuitive to everything, it just takes longer - this method provides the same 8 primaries, and it takes less time and is less stressful! The runt iiiiiis kind of growing? It had a tiny growth spurt, kind of fun to watch what she does and get a feel for weak genetics. Keeping an eye out in case she herms naturally - she will most likely get pulled for the clone or extra seed in a week or so. She's just big enough to top - lets goooo! The RH has been getting a tad high at night ~70% - hence some of the big fat leaves looking a bit scrunched - adjusting! Some of them got BIG - FAST! WOW! ~~~~~ First low branch defol, couple center leaves. Almost time to start trellising! ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! one runt, one almost runt / average gal, an average gal, and two monsters. Got the full spread with these 6 beans. For those tuning in - this is one reason so many argue for keeping a mother plant and cloning - you get consistency. I don't mind it so much, and enjoy new strains to keep things interesting :) I kept the runt going just so that I could get a feel for bad genetics - she's putting out growth and hasn't hermed, will make for some good information. One of the big gals is a smidge unhappy with me, it's been a bit humid so I got a new dehumidifier (old school whirlpool AD25BBL6). She also drank her bucket dry the last day before nute swap - this is really my fault as I could have made the call to add more the day prior. Lesson learned - better to waste a small bit of liquid nutes than let your plant go dry. ~~~~~~~~~~ Learning to SCROG and trying my best here - trying to keep things even and slow down the big gals a bit while the smaller ones catch up. Regardless of what they all look like I will have to flip to flower in a week (at the latest) so as to avoid HST the two big ones - unless absolutely necessary. ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Time to flip to flower! Small defol for light pen and airflow. Minimal taken from the runt, she didn't need it like the others obviously. Left some center/low satellite branches on the runt and smaller gal as I had anticipated them being smaller at the time of flip. Starting at 20'' from lamp and will grow into ~10-12'' ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Thanks for stopping by growmies! 🤙🤙🤙🙏🙏🙏

Bud formations are starting to show themselves, tracking well and looking good! Had to do a decent defol for light pen and airflow - keep mold at bay and things going smoothly :D ~~~~~~~~~~ GH Europe finally changed their name as you can see from above. One gal had a satellite branch shoot up to 67inches, so I opted for some HST to keep her from touching the LEDs, the next day she was perked back up at the light! Others seem to be fine and done stretching! (one is at about 7'' from lamp - if she looks like she's starting to burn I'll train her down as well) No more silica! Runt has a couple satellite branches at 40'' - stretched more than I expected her to! ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Thanks for stopping by growmies! 🤙🤙🤙🙏🙏🙏

Roots are looking very good, decided to go ahead and cut floralicious plus from my mix. You just don't need the extra potash/phosphate/nitrogen when using koolbloom and Fish Sh!t. Also, my fear is that using too much organics will bite me in the ass late flower with these buckets & netcups, very airy / no pressure - and is just overkill in veg as it is. Overall looking very well! ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Thanks for stopping by growmies! 🤙🤙🤙🙏🙏🙏

Looks good and smells insane!!! Seems like most everything is going well with this system - but I need more light!!! Gals got super big and healthy but there's just not adequate lighting for the size of these plants - in flower. Should be able to get my hands on a couple more XS2000's before flowering next grow :) Because of this I will likely harvest some tops early when the time comes and lower the LEDs to let the bottom finish out. ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Made it to a 2nd week of ripen - all 5 gals are super foggy and even showing some bits of amber. Don't think they will see a full week so most likely they'll drain these buckets of the 3gals and then be ready for flush (3-4 days). Actual PPM is more like 800-1500 right now depending on each individual plants salt/nutrient retention. I will be updating my profile page with my day-to-day practices and explain that in more detail, but what went in was the same 600ppm for all 5 plants. ~~~~~~~~~~ Flush on day 61 of flower - should be passing 10-15% amber by the end (4 days). All I used in flush is PH'd dechlorinated water / bennie / and a little humic acid. Seemed the better route than using something like foraclean. I will have an updated nutrient spreadsheet on the first entry of the next diary, reflecting this change, as per usual. 48hrs darkness (last two days flush) ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Critical (Feminised Photoperiod) ~Royal Queen Seeds~ https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/feminized-cannabis-seeds/133-critical.html Indica Hybrid ~ Afghani x Skunk Flowering Time: 49-63 Days THC: ~20% CBD: Low ~~~~~~~~~~ Range of 5-8 stars from 5 plants: 1 Runt (5*) 2 average gals very reminiscent of their Skunk Lineage (6-7*) 2 are very sweet and taste of candy (7-8*) Overall, very satisfied with this harvest - minimal issues considering its a fresh start in a new location. Had some light leak issues that caused 2 of the closest plants to herm in week 6 of flower, also saw drastic PH swings that week so maybe a combination of the two. Almost certain that this correlated to the falling of leaves around my house, we have lots of trees!!! - and a whole lot of coverage disappeared in a couple days and we didn't know - and all of a sudden there's unwanted light in my grow room D:::: Both plants that received HST put out foxtails but did not herm on me 🙏 definitely some good genetics there - strong and big! Should have trimmed a couple branches higher up on the big gals - they had a solid chunk more small branches than desired leading to smaller primary satellite branches / smaller nugs / less weight etc. (Bigger is not always better!) Mid veg I ended up opening the tent for some additional RH control. Eventually I will do away with the tent altogether and put up some relefctive mylar in the room - giving me some more space to work with. Plan was always to double up and have half DWC (potentially RDWC eventually) and the new 6x will be either CoCo or a drip/pot system of some kind. Not this next grow, but possibly the start of next year - and potentially sponsored, stay tuned! About 30g Keif pulled from the trimbim. Trim was added to what was collected from my "Cherry Pie" plant. About a full gallon bag - threw into cold storage until I get a press sometime next year and turn it all into rosin, or maybe edibles. Will have 2x more XS2000's by flower of next grow - try and get some even bigger numbers out of 6 plants / less popcorn. It's worth noting that with these large net pots the hydobucket lets in a solid chunk of airflow and lacks pressure like a 5gl bucket system. Maybe use pot covers to put over your hydroton to mitigate that airflow and prevent mold in the top space of your root system. I saw a tiny bit and hit it with the hose during a nute swap, threw as much more hydroton in as I could - and never saw it again. Southern AG, so far, is working as expected - smaller doses than hydroguard and saving $$$ My apologies for the poor quality trichome photos. Better Microscope is on the way! ~~~~~~~~~~ https://bit.ly/3MplXqf ^^^GrowAce Affiliate Link^^^ Use this if you want to show some support!
