1st Grow Dark Devil Auto (Sweet Seeds)

Finally started my first grow! Will be using HF soil in red solo cups to begin the grow. Had two Dark Devil (Sweet Seeds) seeds for this grow the first seed died due to stress, started this seed a few days later from the first one. Hopefully all goes well!

Plant looks like its recovering well from the accident it had last week! Going to let it rest for a few days since it still may be stressed out. I will be transplanting the plant to a 5 gallon fabric pot by the end of the week or beginning of week 3. Update (10/2 Day 13): Fox Farm Big Bloom (.25 tsp) and Grow Big (.2 tsp) fed to plant today. Won't move the seedling to the 5 gallon fabric pot until Day 15 since it is forecasted to rain hard the day before, I will also move the cup indoors if it does begin to rain.

Moved the plant to a 5 gallon fabric pot this week with 50/50 soil mixture of Happy Frog and Ocean Forest. I also increased the dosage of nutes to 1/2 strength and also increased watering. Not quite sure but plant seems to be stunted the last few days of week 3. Might be because of transferring plant to pot and had a incident were soil in fabric pot shifted and exposed the roots while I was moving the pot. I will be increasing water and nutes week 4 as well as beginning LST and FIM/Top.

Busy and exciting week 4! I trained the plant by LST and FIM (D22). I FIMed above the third node leaving about 10% behind. Originally the plant was tied down from the third node only. I later went back and added another tie to the stem pulling at the opposite direction of the first tie (D24). There was also light rain which didn't seem to affect the plant. The plant was sprayed with BT and spinosad trying to prevent the white dots from spreading to the other fan leafs. Nutes are still being given at 1/2 strength every other feed for this week. Anyway any feedback on my grow is always welcomed and greatly appreciated, since this is still a new learning experience for me. Plant had begun to flower day 29 from seed! Nutes are being fed full strength every watering. No signs of nute burn or stress on the plant for this week! Lot more LST going on trying to get a even canopy throughout the pot that it is in.

Fed nutes full strength every feed, plant seemed to be doing well from it. Also noticed some powdery mildew and a few insects only on a few leafs. Currently wiping away the mildew. May defoliate the leafs if they get worse. The plant is really taking off now in growth!

Haven't been able to update as much as I would like this week. Plant is taking off in growth, expected the colas to be a little thicker though. Hopefully that will change soon. This strain may take a little longer than I thought, maybe because of the abuse from a first time grower 😅 Anyway notice some purple in the buds and leafs! Going to order a dry rack soon and a jewelers lens in preparation for harvest, which might be in 3 weeks or maybe more.

Noticed the darker colors this week and it's very sticky now! Going to need to treat the leaves soon again noticed a few tiny insects. Also defoliated a few of the infected leaves that were also covering some of the buds growing towards the bottom of the plant.
