Pistils coming in nicely as the plant begins to move its way into the 3rd week of flower, planning on defoliating some of the bigger fan leaves blocking the lower bud sites.
Really satisfied with how the plant is doing so far, making its way into 4 weeks of flower. As far as I can tell she hasn’t hermed on me(yet) and is extremely healthy, with buds beginning to swell. The aroma is becoming a little bit more distinct, and for my first grow I am very pleased with this strain’s genetics and ease to grow.
Temps are rising here and I am unable to cool the room that the grow tent is in with air conditioning… but despite this, with sufficient airflow throughout her canopy she seems to be thriving! I am extremely congested but I can still smell the buds when I open the tent, and the nugs so far seem to feel extremely dense.
Buds continue to swell as the plant heads into week 8 of flower… last feeding of Gaia green 2-8–4 & worm castings was top dressed into the soil and have been feeding plain water to her ever since.
Heading into week 8 of flower now, realized my tap water has been fluctuating between 7.0 and 8.0 pH, but despite this the plant looks great and the buds are continuing to swell. The larger colas are beginning to weigh down the stems against the side of the tent, so I have begun to tie them down for support. I am hoping next week she is ready to chop…. buds look amazing and smell is intoxicating.
Wasn’t planning on updating this diary until after the cure, but why not. She was harvested on August 10, and placed into an empty grow tent at 60F & 55% RH. By August 17, the outer buds were dry enough, so I had used a wood moisture meter to measure the moisture content of the inner buds and they were ready to jar. I didn’t measure wet weight as I hung the entire plant whole and didn’t want to account for the weight of stems & fan leaves on the plant, but dry weight was 90.45 grams For my first grow, I don’t know if I did everything right… I will know by the end of cure, but so far I am more than content with the way she turned out. I have another Bourbon Berry Twenty20 outdoor grow I might post on here soon which is currently curing, & Chocolate Haze by RQS which is in week 2 of flower.
