This White Wedding is an extra from our 4x8 tent that we didn't think would make it. Her taproot had grown up to the surface and shriveled a bit and we spent germination week nursing her just in case and she has started to bounce back with signs of the taproot growing again, and down.
We are setting up our 30x18 inch Vivosun tent we used to use for drying, as a miniature grow tent. With 3 feet of height the VS1000 is zip tied directly to the top bar as high as it can go. She's got to be kept short so LST will be used to flatten her out and her veg will likely be short. There's only an intake for now, it's in our bedroom so we used the carbon filter for the intake as we don't have another filter box, and our bedroom has no mold :)
Our baby White Wedding has recovered very well! Her taproot not only changed direction but was visible in her little cup and growing strong. Her leaves are past the edge of the cup and we have transplanted her straight into her final pot due to spacing constraints. She sits in a 5 gallon pot, and received a light feeding in the cup at the beginning of the week, along with a starting feeding after transplant (light dose). She's been moved to her mini tent home as well, the Vivosun 30x16x36 inch. Now, this tent is mostly meant for clones and seedlings but we'll be using it for a baby White Wedding RBX :D
If I have learned anything from this; if you have extra space, never count out a runt until it curls over dead lol
No extra water in the solution this week for the baby, she drinks from the 4x8s res and I had to water it a little to bring it to 400 ppm. Responding to the small bump in PPMs well and is growing well. No training yet but soon as head space will be an issue later on. PPFD sitting around 450 and will increase this week.
Good week of growth with our White Wedding mini. She was topped at the end and LST training has begun. Head room needs to be watched here so we'll keep tying her down as she grows until she's filled that bottom portion, then flip. Light intensity has increased. I can't move the light up and down in this small tent so it's fixed to the top in preparation for flower, we just increase it until it's at 100 percent just before flowering
Running late on diaries this week. The White Wedding RBX mini tent is coming along well, might be flipping next week as I continue training her branches out and keep them low. Feedings have increased but our PPM meter (cheap vivosun) is not reading right anymore. Sticking close to recommended feeding schedules has worked well with minimal nute burn. She's been doing very well though in the small space with no signs of deficiency either. We focused defoliating on the lowest leaves to keep airflow underneath good as theres not alot of headspace. Some sucker branches were also removed while they were small trying to keep the colas from overcrowding later. Also will keep up with defoliation to keep the bottom clear.
A great week for the little White Wedding RBX, her canopy is spread to about the optimal width for this light, just a smidge over 2 feet. She was flipped towards the end of the week on the first of July, and Bud Ignitor was added a 2ml per liter.
Another good week and the first week of flower for the mini White Wedding RBX. She was flipped on 07-02 an already has a faint smell of citrusy floral notes (something sweeter too i just can't identify yet), probably the earliest any of my plants have ever had an aroma lol. Her description mentions PUNGENT (all caps) for it's aroma / terpene profile and i'm believing it so far. Bud Ignitor was added just before flip and will continue through week 2 of flower. She is slowly creeping closer to the light so we are keeping close eye on her daily incase we have to try and carefully use plant ties to lower or move back a tall branch. The lack of headroom is definitely the challenge here and is the least amount of height we have worked with so far lol but she is doing great.
She's been doing great in the little tent. She's stretching and I'm a little worried about height but if needed we can dial back the power. Some final defoliation was done and lower suckers removed. She's been really healthy all throughout. Big Bud and Terpinator have been added to the feedings. There's high CO2 levels in my apartment anywhere from 1500 up to 2200 ppm at times with my inkbird sensor. I'll be setting it up for next week to check room levels.
I've been ill this past week and I'm running a little late with my diaries
Our mini White Wedding has been doing good, continued to stretch and crept very close to the light so we'll be keeping a close eye for light burns or stress. I'll probably have to use ties to move the tallest branches to the outside where the light is a bit weaker, as I did with the first tall sets. She's chugging along happily though and starting to smell strong.
Bud Ignitor and root tribes removed and Nirvana and B-52 added to feedings
Finally recovered from bronchitis, gotta catch my diaries up! Lol
Another great week as she starts filling out her bud sites. Her smell is definitely gotten strong and filled up my room at the end of the week as I tied her tallest branches further to the side. Even with high CO2 in the apartment she had just gotten too close. All things considered she's been an easy grow, even stunted by a broken taproot during germination she's still too big of a strain for a mini grow but we are managing lol.
There was also so light trimming of fan leaves to open her up to more light. Outer areas had dimmed alot but brightened back up afterwards
