A-Team Twenty20 Mendocino brings a new round of genetics to the table. I’ve been out of the grow for awhile but I’m happy to be back at it. Strains:
Spice Girl #1 (Girl Crush #26 x The Spice #19)
West Coast Sour (Sour Diesel #13 x Sour Diesel #4)
Sugar Bowl (Sour Snow x MMXX #48) IX
Prosecco (Strawberry Blonde x Gran Champagne)
Update: on day 5 the germinated seeds were sowed into their cells. On day 6 they emerged!
Update, Day 14: I usually wait a little longer before starting “Veg” cycle, but GD doesn’t allow for more than one week of germination. It would be great to see a “seedling” stage added to the cycle before Veg😉 . So, I’m just cramming two weeks of growth into the germination stage and next week will be the first week of Veg!
All the girls have emerged and look great. I started my IPM after waking up and seeing a green bottle fly on my girls. I couldn’t tell if it defecating or laying eggs, but I had to wipe off some black nasty spots off the leaves where it was laying. These flys don’t feed off of vegetation like leaves, and are even known to be great pollinators. However, they are also know to carry diseases and viruses that can be transferred to humans and plants alike. I’ll be foliar spraying with Mercenary for the next few day, then switch to once a week for routine IPM practice.
