Hi. I bought these testers because I have a problem and they were a decent price. A friend also mentioned some Cinderella XX "he had one time" being one of his all time favorites. I have these things in a pretty small tent and I understand the Cinderella 99 Strain stretches pretty well so I put this girl into a disposable cake tin that I poked a bunch of holes in and put into another cake tin to catch runoff. I've never done it, couldn't find anything when searching about it so I am going to attempt to grow in this shallow erm.. casserole potluck pan. forgive the lack of details, I could post pictures of the tent but frankly its a chore maybe we will get some sometime down the line if this thing pops. Thanks for coming by.
Shes up and ready to show off for you all. found an old milk crate to bring her closer to the light. Not giving her much water at all currently going to start watering the substrate to the edge I need to get me a nice sprayer with a fine diffuser so I can get that water packed in there nice and slow.. somehow I had water in the tents drain pan cover thing. not exactly sure how it leaked out from the other pan or it was just condensation maybe? a Towel or perhaps or lifted slightly to have a source of aeration under the pans to dry the area.. come back later we like to post throughout the week. thanks for coming. nice dose of humic acid in the soil to kickstart the dry organic amendments.
She is growing well in the cake tin. I need to try to figure out how to water the surface without watering too deep as the deeper parts stay pretty moist and I don't want to turn it into mud but I also don't want the surface drying out.
Chopped her in half and going to train the branches to the corners, try to make this thing look like some birthday candles on a cake.
I did the math on the pan and I figured the pan was nearly 800 cubic square inches. 231 cubic square inches in a gallon means these things are 800/231 = 3.46 gallon er...pots.
watering her with some finely diffused mist from a 1 gallon sprayer takes me like 20 minutes to water it 1/2 gallon before I am tired of doing it. She seems to be pleased with her environment.
I'll probably start giving her food using Advanced Nutrients PH perfect line for a couple of weeks and switch her into to flower and then double the same nutrients. 😎
Shes about reached the edges, strapped them down and topped them one last time. everything should grow as intended after that and I'll be able to switch to flower soon. 1-2 weeks.
I wanted to get some horizontal growth going to top the stuff in the middle while I work on these 4 branches to slow them if they get a little too long. try to develop that canopy without having to get a net. I'll probably get a net. She got burnt by fertilizer or me letting her dry out too long. It doesn't matter. she ate through it. I'll let this sit for 2-3 days and allow these to be established vertically before possibly topping them aswell depending on how the canopy is looking. thanks for coming by and checking us out.
I think she had a little salt buildup so I've just been giving her water. Her stems smell unlike any bud i've ever grown they are absolute skunky and tasty I hope the flowers resemble these potent smelling branches. I topped every branch and started shoving them under the net spreading out nicely.
I think im about done training these branches ready to flip her and watch what she does.
UPDATE: she has already stretched her limbs like twice their length already its been maybe 2 days. wish me luck that I can keep her under control because she is exploding with power in flower.
Just tucking these things under the net trying to get her shaped up so she doesn't grow straight to the light. I've got another net for her when she gets in the mood for fighting. Just coastin' im not sure If I fed her but if I did it was a little taste of Fox Farms Open Sesame.
I for sure gave them some open sesame this week maybe a little too much water but I wanted to feed them well and put a whole .5 gallon. I think that's like 60.ish liter maybe? . Shes doing her best to eat it up for us. I'll probably allow her feet to dry a little before I go trying on anymore glass slippers. growing well and enjoying her shape. branches are a little thin and whispy compared to the strains I usually grow. Glad I got her a extra net. just incase.
She is coming along nicely. 98 days from sprout.
I don't think she made BG's 2023 line unfortunately. Shame, she is studded with vibrant white crystals like she is ready for the ball. I know this girl is going to be potent and she is quite beautiful to stare at. I am hoping she can swell up for us a bit, put on some final growth and tighten up those gaps. Only water from here on out maybe some occasional sugars for the microbiology, and a serious flush coming in the next 1-3 weeks.
Not sure why BG decided to hold back on her, but she hasn't left me displeased. Perhaps I am making it up but I thought I read rumors they are working on developing her further. That is what testing is for after all. The Z99 XX now feel more exclusive. Maybe I'll dust a branch with some GDP pollen I collected last year. Call it De Jesus like that purple suit wearing creep in the Big Lebowski film that the Mark it Zero is referencing due to its Walter Sobcheck lineage. Nobody messes with De Jesus.
Well folks, I haven't been so sticky since I was a youngster. Removing her net for the flush was difficult she is absolutely frosty and sticky and beautiful. Got a picture in the sun and it looks as though she wants to foxtail out a bit but this is her final week as Im ready to get something else in the tent and its going to be nice and cold in regards to drying so. its her time. z99 ladies and gentlemen. hope we get to see her on the Brothers Grimm lineup someday in some form or another. She was a pleasure to grow. i'll let you all know when the deed is done.
The z99 testers are a hit. HOLY. these things are potent. most powerful stuff I have on hand and she isn't even done drying., Had to pluck a piece off here 5 days in to try her out and boy am I stoned. She tastes and smells to me a bit like tang powder. - for some reason I am reminded of sweetened children's vitamins? I hope that BG gets her onto shelves. She is absolutely powerful, teeth numbingly potent strain of cannabis.
This strain was a beauty to grow. absolutely unique in terms of fragrance and taste I am going to enjoy these buds over the winter when the eggnog isnt quite hittin the spot and I need something powerful to sooth the aches and cricks the cold brings out. I'll update this review when they are done curing and can be properly reviewed by a few friends.
I've been very impressed with my Brothers Grimm Mota Hari (also Tester Seeds). Given my unbelievably positive experience in growing my Tester Seeds, I'm hoping that you have the same experience. Happy Growing, Brother!
@FarmerJon, I really appreciate you coming back in and sharing. She's rebounding out of a little tiny lockout/buildup right now. despite being in pretty early flower she is already developing trichomes I can visibly see dusted on not only sugar leaves but the larger fan leaves as well. . If not a lifetime supply in abundance, hopefully through potency! lol. cheers happy smoking.
@WatercanWampa, Well, the one Mota Hari plant ended up producing 5½ dry ounces! By my calculations, you're headed for a lifetime supply of it with this crop!
@WatercanWampa, Thanks, man. And yes, the Mota Hari only continues to impress... I mean, its buds are literally larger, more dense, and plumper than most of the others'. Brothers Grimm really hit it out of the park with this Tester Seed. I just hope that they get enough positive feedback to make it a part of their normal menu.
Just as a heads up, all of the Brothers Grimm plants I've grown absolutely crave extra Cal-Mag. I think that it's due to their robust physiology and heftier frame. After switching from the Fox Farm brand of this nutrient, I continued feeding them on the high end of dosages and never observed an issue. Also, when Brothers Grimm tells you to use a central stake... do it. I thought it was puffery BS but discovered the opposite the hard way!
Thanks, again, for your kind sentiments.
Damn, she stretched out like crazy during flower! You've manicured a miniature tree! I'm jealous... especially because my girls are still seedlings.
Nice work! I can't wait to read about the finished product!
