Germination went very well. 18 hours in a cup of water. Then into a wet paper towel for about 48 hours. Once a nice taproot was developed I placed into a rapid rooter
All 6 strains are showing signs of overwatering. The strawberry cough showed the overwatering signs the least and is still the biggest, nicest looking strain I’ve got growing.
Had to add a couple dehumidifiers to the basement this week
Also I've got 6 photos from premium cultivators in this 4x4 and I'm going to need more room.
Did some LST tying branches. Trimmed up the lower part of the plant
Added scrog
Turned off lights for 24 hours (I don't really know if this is a thing) but then switched to 12/12 light schedule
Plant is 28 inches tall but it has been topped already. Moved 2 plants to a 2x4 but this plant stayed in the 4x4 with 3 other photos
.96 vpd.
Dropped calimagic to 2.5 ml/gal from 5 ml/gal
Trimmed the bottom of the plants again.
Getting some gnats. I've used DE and mosquito bits as well as sticky tape. It has been manageable. It is hot and humid here in MO and these gnats are everywhere (not just in the tent). But like I said, gnats in the tent have been manageable.
Smell is starting to amp up a bit. Running out of room in the 4x4 again. Everything seems to be going good still. I am surprised how well things are going on the first grow. Shout out to good genetics I assume
Flooring seems to be going nicely. Have to keep trimming up the bottom of the canopy. I have scrogged this all twice actually. One net as actual scrog/LST and a higher net hopefully to support heavy buds. We'll see
Cut down on micro and upped bloom nutrients. Very strong smell now. Buds are super sticky and covered in white trichomes. No amber trichomes yet. Adding a net to the top because the buds are getting too heavy
