This is my first grow ever. I have setup my tent yesterday which is a 80x80x160cm tent. I have two small USB fans which are going to be used for ventilation (currently only one is being used in the tent to push air in) and I am using a 300W LED light. The seeds I have are 4 Northern Light Auto (RQS) seeds (I ordered 3 but they gave me one for free) and 1 Malana Bomb Auto (Barney's Farm). Currently, I am trying to germinate two of the seeds, 1 Northern Light Auto and 1 Malana Bomb Auto. After looking at hours of footage on how to germinate seeds I decided to try two methods. I put the Northern Light Auto in a water cup and on top of my PC for warmth and I put the Malana Bomb Auto straight in a pot full of soil and watered very little on top and put it in the tent under the grow light. If the Northern Light Auto doesn't germinate in 24 hours I will be taking it out of the water and doing the paper towel method. The picture is of the Malana Bomb Auto. The Northern Light Auto is still in a cup of water. I hope that both of them germinate and sprout successfully. If you can give me any tips for a new grower about this germination stage I would greatly appreciate it! I am excited to see how my first grow goes and I will be keeping track and updating it here often :) --------------------------------- DAY 2 The ropes for the light arrived! I have adjusted the grow light to be closer to the pot now with the ropes that arrived. I checked on the Northern Light Auto and it is still germinating in a paper towel (no root yet) inside of a zip bag in a dark and warm place. The Malana Bomb is still in the pot and has not sprouted yet since it is probably still germinating. One thing I have noticed is that the soil in the pot was completely dried out so I watered it. This is very interesting because I have another smaller pot in the tent which has no seed inside and I watered it the same time as the first water I did for the Malana Bomb just for comparison and testing. --------------------------------- DAY 3 Nothing as of now. The Northern Light Auto has still not germinated in the zip bag and the Malana Bomb is still in the pot under the soil. I watered the pot again since the soil was dry again which I guess happens because of the grow light. --------------------------------- DAY 4 The Northern Light Auto in the bag has not germinated so I decided to plant it in the empty pot next to my Malana Bomb. The reason I did this is because the Malana Bomb actually has a root out and it looks like a pretty good one too ( I had to dig in the soil a little to look if there is one since I thought neither of my seeds are germinating). I learnt a lot from this for future seeds. Putting seeds in a water cup or paper towel seems useless since I just planted one in the soil straight away and it has more progress than the one I had in a water cup then in a paper towel. I guess the more natural the better so straight to soil it is for me. I am really excited that the Malana Bomb has germinated and I can't wait to see it sprout. I did not water it again, I only sprayed it and let it be. --------------------------------- DAY 5 The Malana Bomb has grown above the soil! The seed is still stuck onto the root itself but I am really happy about this progress. I have also planted 3 more Northern Light Auto in the tent. 1 in a 5 gallon pot, 2 in jiffy pots just to try them. So far so good! --------------------------------- DAY 6 Both the Malana Bomb Auto and the Northern Light Auto have sprouted! Both look pretty good so far, I keep spraying them from time to time and I watered the Malana Bomb a little today.

DAY 9 Things are looking great so far. All 3 seeds have sprouted (1 Malana Bomb, 2 Northern Lights) and look good besides the fact that they are a little bendy for some reason. Two more Northern Lights are in the two jiffy pots and I'm waiting for them to grow as well. DAY 12 Things looks good besides the leafs looking a bit yellow and I am not sure if that is normal or not. DAY 13 The leaves are returning back to their beautiful green colour only after a day since I noticed they look a bit yellow. I am very happy with this. I believe the issue was overwatering as stated by several people in my question, thank you guys! The plant also looks like it has "woken up" if you compare the leaves from yesterday and today, they have seem to raised up and it looks healthy and good now! DAY 14 The plant looks even healthier and more majestic today than ever before! The Northern Lights are doing good as well, growing slowly but steady. Unfortunately, one of the two Northern Lights that I planted in the jiffy pots seems to have died I believe. I am not sure what happened with it, I moved it from the jiffy pot to a normal pot after I noticed that it looks pretty much like it's dead. DAY 19 Used nutrients for first time today. 1ml of BioBizz Grow with 1L water for all 4 plants. Malana Bomb looking mad, growing crazy big compared to the rest. Each plants seems to grow in its own pace, some faster some slower but everything looking good.

The leafs started to look yellow in the middle when I checked on them today. They looked fine to me yesterday so I guess this happened in the past 24-48 hours, not sure why. It can be seen on Day 12 pictures. Is this normal or I should be worried?

Hi @TheMan! The curly/wavy leaves tells us that this seedling is suffering from heat+high relative humidity - or - overwatering. This can lead to nutrients deficiencies, too much heat and too much water will dramatically change the way plants handle nutrient and light. You probably need to reinforce your airflow, and try to follow a dry/wet cycle. Roots need to be on a dry/wet cycle to properly spread, searching for water. Now, your pH might be related too, a 7.0 pH is neutral whereas cannabis plants in soil need a slightly acidic pH range (6.0~6.5). Finally, we're missing a few informations to refine the diagnosis: what medium are you using (EC/PPM levels)? Have you been giving any kind of nutrients? If so, at what frequency? How often do you water, how often do yo feed, what's the volume of your waterings, how long do you let the medium dry between two waterings? If you look at all the hypothetical sources for this issue, I'm confident your baby will recover and become a strong adult. If you're stuck with yellowing+wavy leaves in a few days, keep us up-to-date and we'll be around to help. Happy growing 👊

DAY 22 I transplanted the plants into bigger pots and fed them with some Bio-Grow and Top-Max. Everything looking good and normal. Going to increase the distance between plant and light soon.

DAY 28 Started adding Bio-Bloom along with the Bio-Grow and Top-Max. Transplanted the plants into bigger pots as well. Malana Bomb growing amazing still, NL #1 and #2 growing great as well, NL #3 a bit slower. The smell has increased a lot but not an issue. DAY 34 The plants have grown big and all over the place, especially the Malana Bomb and the NL #1. The pictures can be a bit confusing due to that but I can't do much about it haha. I've increased the nutrient intake and had no issues so far, all good.

DAY 41 What a week! Unexpected turn of events happened after the Northern Lights Auto #1 overtook the leader this whole time Malana Bomb Auto. I honestly did not see this coming, it's crazy how plants grow in their own pace, in their own time. The beauty of nature I guess. I feed the plants every second watering with the nutrients stated above and everything looks good. Two of the bottom leaves on the Malana Bomb have yellowed and pretty much died which I read is normal in the flowering stage, everything looks good.

DAY 49 Plants looking good. If you wonder where the NL #3 is, it snapped while I was moving everything. Unfortunate. It was the slowest grower but I wanted to see how it will end up in the end with the others but sadly it snapped while I was moving it. The NL #1 grew above the light so I had to us ties to kinda pull it down. The light does not produce much heat so it should be fine at that distance. The buds on NL #1 and Malana Bomb are starting to form nicely. NL #2 still hasn't taken up like them.

DAY 56 Couldn't manage to get good pictures this week because of how big the plants got which I honestly did not expect but it is a good thing! The Northern Lights seem to be getting taller which is crazy, the Malana Bomb had a huge advantage over them the first weeks but now both of them have overtaken. The Malana Bomb is forming nice buds all over the place and so is the NL #1. The NL #2 seems to be just about starting to form its buds.
