Things we grow and the thoughts on it...

This is the first week of my first grow and I am pretty excited. Have probably spent half of my life buying weed and to now be able to legally not only consume but grow is absolutely amazing. It's comparable to the craft beer explosion. So thinking about my first grow is all consuming and my "babies" will grown by a loving person who is always thinking about the best life they can have. I got 8 seed germinating at the moment. I'm focused on nourishing and how to feed my af's once they get a few leaves but very tenderly. Going with voodoo + for robust roots and og iguana but going really modified with the feeding as far as ratio's......but also using ADV nutrients. Will post pic's a bit later. This is indeed an exciting time and I would love to have "Cannabis Cup Winner" crossed off of my BL!!!!! So day 3 and finally got more nutrients in. Along with some chemistry grade droppers to measure out my nutrients. Kind of gonna micro-dose through the veg and get as much bang for my buck off these two strains. I went with straight planting for the Hellfires but the Green Cracks germinating the sets and adding drops of Voodoo + to the roots for larger roots b4 i give them their home. Once they hit the pots I'm gonna go with the Voodoo+ and OGV, Ancient and B-52 probably .6ml/liter to get them into uptake mode and that will be kind of a intro. On another note my tent maintenance has been pretty good. Just got an XXL CO2 bag thrown up and am expecting a fan Thursday(Vivosun E6... those bastards!!!) Going with cloth 5gallon bags and have gotten round pots for Indica and square pots for Sativa. This is the Hellfire OG vs Green Crack grow so gotta be organized with it. I put my pots in milk crates and have extra's to add height but have a feeling i can get rid of the bottoms. Gonna throw pictures of the GC roots b4 I go from paper towel to pot........ Also gotta pick up some coffee cups.......I think having a retainer between your seed immediate soil and surrounding soil is good. I want to keep my nutrient zone away from the plant to prevent any type of nourishment burn. I'm really going light on the nutrients but need my plants roots to kind of reach out with root growth inside the pot. Still on day 3 but already thinking bout the next grow. Definitely photo's with a chance of fully hydro just to get a good strain and some kick ass root's. Not sure on what strain yet but probably a mid height indica. I dream of that net spread out with huge buds and a root the size of a thigh..... Really excited and keeping light pretty close and dimmed down to prevent over heating or burning my babies.
