Placed two Mega Mind purchased direct from my local hydro directly into root riots. This will be one week behind the GDP Auto I have growing alongside. The harvest week should align nicely. I will not be germinating them in paper towel, or a jar to ensure they don't get damaged by my fingers.
In the same tent as autos. Dome off since the humidity is 81% in the tent. Just cleaned humidifier with bleach. Spotted lots of pink mold on the inner seals. dropped light from 37" to 26" and adjusted the ppfd to 240.
added cards after seeing a lone gnat hovering my face. trap carded with catchmasters. multiple exit points of the grow room were also trap carded for management of where it could've come from.
kinda lacking behind my ILGM autos if we're going to compare size before nutrients, started them today following HWG cheat sheet for photos. was going to add terpinator to the mix but forgot to before pH down was diluted and added. so i abstained this run. perhaps next weeks feed.
noticed pest damage on another plant not in this grow but in the same tent, will update if it spreads to these. doesn't appear to be mites or gnats.
Fed, and after topping to the third node. 4 days into this week, i topped again at the next third node on the new growth. I will top it one more time, then let it go while training against the apical dominance. I will preferably flip in week 6 but perhaps 7 if it's not where I want it to be. My autos started flowering as well, so i'm not worried about them as much now, i can focus on this a lot more, aside from feeding of course.
Flushed out excess ppm of 5000 to 1000 and 1500 respectively. 4 gallons of 6.5pH each. - brought ph from 5.5 to 6.2 and 5.5 to 6.0
- in two or three days I'm thinking of flipping to flower!
Going to feed per week 7 of HWG cheat sheet for photos MULTIPLIED by 6 because i dunked each with 6 GALLONS today.
(water pre ppm 150 and pH 8.4 .. post ppm was 1760 and pH 6.41)
dunk runoffs were measured as
ppm:1800 and 1750
pH: 6.43 and 6.37
FLIPPING TO FLOWER TONIGHT!
No major changes, strong growth upwards. practiced leaf tucking. Dunk Flush next watering.
feed 2060ppm and 6.66pH
runoffs on one 2447ppm 6.56pH
runoffs on two 2230ppm 6.62pH
oh boy, it's gettin real pretty. signs of purple pistils! no nanner zone! defoliated yesterday, even though they seemed very happy i decided it was time to feed because of the dryback. pics taken before dunk. none taken after.
resuming feed for HWG cheat sheet for photoperiods with terpinator added.
nute solution 2346ppm and 6.38pH
runoffs:
#1 2438ppm and 6.47pH
#2 2416ppm and 6.48pH
fed again with
2326 ppm and 6.5pH feed. you may notice supercropping i made so a lower cola could catch up. seems to be drinking nutes heavy with no remorse for alkalinity. (im a bad jokester i k)
swapped positions for light distribution
runoffs as follows: (dryback is getting wrose have to flush next watering anyway)
2950ppm and 6.4pH
4320ppm and 6.5pH
Should flush but im feeding again... nutrients: 1126 ppm (.5 scale) 6.5pH (4ml ph up) (i made the solution up realizing i dont need it. ideally i should be flushing excess right now, this may turn out to be a mistake, runoffs say no lol..)
runoffs - 1316ppm and 6.45pH
runoffs - 1329ppm and 6.5pH
flushed with 5 gallons and found that each were at 400 ppm range. they had about 6.73 each in ppm
I decided to top dress a feed at 6.3 on both and resulted in runoffs of 800 and 1100 now showing at 6.25pH each.
yes, i dont know what happened either. i calibrated before this flush and feed. resulted in about a half gallon of runoff as well, as opposed to one quart. new pH was much lower than anticipated. stay tuned. 😳
Top watered with 3 gallon each. Was going to do it yesterday and didn't get the chance. I am starting to see a natural fade but they're also still hungry so I'm gonna just topwater as opposed to dunking again with how tall they've been getting.
nute runoffs 1600 ppm and 6.2 pH
extremely glittery! in the dry room! removed fan leaves and deep freezed. I didn't have a luggage scale to wet weight, or however that's done. will have a dry weight after dry trim. and in cure bags.
see mind flayer harvest, this isn't another. i just chose to name the strains' parents seperately since there wasnt an option to pick MEGAMIND on the dropdown.
