Day 76ish, about 20-25 days till Harvest. Lights 11.5 hrs on/ 12.5 off. Buds are getting thick & heavy, nice frosting & red hairs starting to show. Ill be feeding nutes for another 10-12 days, then water flush for 8-12 days. i expect harvest to be around day 94-98.
10/9 update: tricomes are white, very few amber, but that will change quick. So I did a double water flush yesterday, Day 83. Expect to cut down sunday/monday based on my past experiences. Will do another 2 water flushes between now and then. This grow seems to be 3-4 days 'faster' than my previous grows, so instead of cutdown on day 94-98 im thinking day 90-94.
Week 12 of 14. Last 2 weeks, last nute week, will flush next week. Hairs are changing red, will be checking tricomes starting next week.
Day 89 - Removed all fan leafs and gave a slight trim this morning. Trimcomes are white, approx 10% brown.. just waiting. Will pull them within the next couple days. ive been flushing for about a week, soil still damp, so just letting them go, soak up the rest.
This is a custom strain, Ive made from growing several unknown seeds. Timing with identifying males has been an issue of mine 🧐 Obtaining decent seeds from a seedbank hasnt been possible for me. Doing the best with what Ive got 😀 Its a sativa dominant hybrid. Gets a cheesey earthy smell when fully dried.
Bad News, Good News: The Bad- I was not as quick as I thought I was with yanking the males. pollen spread the lots of lower branches, where I had alot of bud that was just so seed packed its useless. I have to do a better job of identifying males quicker. i kept just a little over half, that was not seeded, tossing in the trim bin a lot of wasted buds. Now the good news. dried weight of the finished product I kept was just under 3 oz. i spent $25 on some bubble hash bags, ran the trim, which included trim/popcorn from my last batch too. i turned that into a couple grams of bubble hash that turned out well too. when life gives you lemons....
smells like theyre ready lol. i have a fan moving air in the closet and exhaust fan pulling air out, so the airflow helps big time. helps keep it dry too
