Hello and welcome to the Toof Decay diary! I'm a really big fan of the guys over at Mephisto and I think they do excellent work. I ran a Mephisto's Wedding previously and it was absolutely killer. I run mostly photoperiods, but the quality and uniqueness Mephisto puts out is top notch and I would seriously recommend their stuff to anyone who is a fan of autoflowers. I decided to pop a Toof Decay because I have previously smoked it and found it to absolutely killer. As I really enjoyed the effects I thought I would grow one myself. I germinated her using the glass of water/paper towel method. No issues with germination and on 6/18 she had her cotyledon on full display. Since she is an auto, I planted her in her final 10 gallon fabric pot. I'm using a 50/50 mix of Happy Frog and Ocean Forest as well as some Light Warrior in the middle of the pot. She is going underneath a Mars Hydro Ts1000. I don't plan on spending alot of time on her. She'll be going into a small room instead of my tents where I'll probably do the bare minimum as I'm already working on new plants in my tents as well as the outdoor grow. I may low stress train her and/or top her depending on how she grows. I'm also keeping this grow organic and will be using BuildASoil's Craft Blend to feed her. 10 gallons is alot of soil for an auto, but hopefully that will translate into a higher yield. See you next week :D

I put her in a small room. Its half insulated so I shouldn't get extreme temperature swings. We are looking at highs of 85f and lows of 68f in the room which is almost perfect. I've just been feeding her plain water (not ph'd) from the sink. I'll probably begin feeding in flower at some point with the Craft Blend. She's growing fine so far, although a bit slow. Her leaves are thin and small. I'm thinking about topping her and/or LSTing her somewhere down the line. I noticed some fungus nats in the soil so I covered the top layer of soil with diatomaceous earth. Hopefully we don't develop a bad nat problem. See you next week!

The Toof Decay is growing quite nicely with a good rate of growth. No signs of flower yet, but expecting to see pistils form in probably another week or two. I'm definitely going to top her which is exciting because I've never topped an auto before. The environment is pretty okay for veg even though we are in full summer. It's common for the room to reach 86f during the day with RH up to 75 during the night. Its not an issue now, but it will be in the future. Had to put some sticky traps and diatomaceous earth in the pots this week due to fungas nats. As of day 21 it looks like they've all been cleared up. See you next week!

Good growth on the Toof Decay this week. She has put out a few pistils, but no bud formation yet. I topped her on day 22 and she has responded nicely. Decided to low stress train her on day 28. Excited to see her fill up! I also changed the light this week from the Mars Hydro Ts1000 to the TSW 2000.

She responded very well to the topping and the LST. As you can see her two new tops have been growing nicely and they are of good size. As of day 35 there is pretty noticeable bud development. I'm always amazed at how fast these autoflowers go into flower. She's actually getting pretty big and stretching pretty good. Excited as she looks like she is going to be the biggest auto I've grown. I fed her half a cup of Craft Blend this week as well as some worm castings.

She is stretching quite nice now. The topping and the LST definitely payed off as she is quite spread out. Absolutely no problems with her and I'm very happy as this has been a pretty low maintenance plant. Will probably feed her next week.

She is throwing pistils off like crazy and you can see that she is starting to bulk up. Good frost development on the leaves as well. She is an 11 week strain so we have about a month left before harvest. I'm super excited. No problems still other than some minor yellowing on the very bottom leaves. I fed a cup of craft blend at the end of this week.

She's doing great! Fattening up, throwing off long pistils and developing triches all over! She's getting this super sweet blueberry smell too! I cannot wait to harvest this lady. Predicting probably above 5 ounces. I notice some leaves towards the bottom turning yellow and dying off. This is normal! According to Mephisto, this one goes until 11 weeks, although I'm expecting 12 at most. Getting close boys!

She's fattening up just fine despite the heat and humidity. Temperatures and humidity should be going down in the next two weeks although its not an issue. Its seems like she's displaying some signs of calmag deficiency on day 58. Fed her some more craft blend and a little bit of calmag and she's just fine. Her leaves are starting to fall off now, although its nothing out of the ordinary as its just senescence. She's probably got two more weeks on her. I'm quite amazed the plant can put on thick buds like this in only 5 weeks of actual flowering. She is still putting off new pistils but the old ones are starting to turn orange. Not quite 50/50 on the white/orange pistils yet. She's becoming very frosty and the smell is out of this world. Can't wait to chop her!

Another week of the Toof Decay chunking up. Humidity is getting a bit out of control, getting up to 82% RH some nights! Because of this, I've placed a dehumidifier in the room. I've got a fan blowing gently directly on the buds which probably helps a bit but I'm honestly surprised she hasn't gotten mold issues. She's got maybe another week I would imagine. If she needs to go 12 weeks I will let her do so. Her smell is amazing, like a sweet blueberry. She's chunky and I'm expecting at least 5 ounces. Almost there!

I think its time to chop! She's chunked up nice and ready to go. I would like to run her a little bit more, but it seems like she's starting to foxtail. I've notice the colors change a bit more over the last week. If I keep her going odds are she'll turn a bit purple. I can already start to see it on some of the leaves and calyx. As always Mephisto genetics are a treat to grow.

Good quality fat and chunky buds. Not too dense but not too larfy with some foxtails. Frosty and pungent. Has a sweet blueberry/cheesey smell and taste. Definitely a happy stone feeling rather than an energetic high 👍 Harvested 148g dry buds.

As always Mephisto brings the fire. She was a nice and easy 12 week strain and responded well to her environment and training. I'm always amazed at how fast these autoflowers grow and the Toof Decay is no exception. I think I did pretty well with this one with very few mistakes. The environment wasn't ideal but she took it like a champ. 9/10 Would grow again. Harvested 148g dry buds..
