1 out of 3 seeds popped for me but she’s growing fairly well. Topped on day 12 to see what happens. 1 gallon of nutrients are split between four pots. I have another strain in my tent with three plants just one week behind.

Growing vigorously despite topping…experimenting with LST and added a few staples to try and get more even canopy. Using ph leveled water. I have well water and my ph is 7-7.5…a few drops of PH down and my water is good to go, it appears that way at least ;)

I am so proud of her progress and hope she continues…daily LST to get the most bud sites as possible! Decided to use my photography skills and will be posting better quality photos from here on out.

Still doing LST to get an even canopy, which appears successful! I think week 5 will be my last week of LST, it’s time to see what she can achieve on her own! I think I started a great base for my first bouquet of buds! Very pleased with her growth! She is a lot shorter than my other plants so it’s a challenge adjusting the light so all plants get the best amount of lighting. She doesn’t seem to grow fast at 12 in rather she prefers the light a little farther away 16-18 inches.

Hi. I've looked at wk 5 & 6.. those tops that's officially pre flowers mate. You should start to see hairs popping like mad up and down your nodes. Also i see your tops they'll start throwing out hairs shortly. You had your pre Pre flower stretch, usually happens (spurts of rapid growth) along with your tops are signs as the Stigmata. Daily checks should be bracts. You know the little balls with hairs check her for male pollen sacs. As all ppl should with any strain. As if they pop before pre flower is over your tent will be full of seeds. Your plants I mean. So, a single ball you will start seeing at and under bud sites. Just look up bracts if you see many balls that's a hermie it is rare. But, not as much as it should be. So, its just good practice to look out for all plants that are entering pre flower and thru keep an 👁️ out Good Growing

She has just transitioned to flower...she's a little slower than my Critical on the flowering so I was a little confused about wether she needed to be flipped to a 12/12 schedule. According to other growers, she is just fine on the 18/6. I did end up lollipopping her, just cuz she was so massive and plenty of budsites weren't getting close to enough light as the canopy I LSTed above. I can't wait to see her fatten up the next few weeks. As far as nutes go I am not gonna increase anything yet and stick to 3 tsp of all FoxFarm Trio Nutrients. It's been hot this last week, so temps were up a little more than should be. I just ordered a carbon filter, hoping to get more temp and stench control.

I went against my original idea and defoliated a little more...too many budsites without sufficient light...it certainly stunted her growth a little but hoping to be back on track soon.

Last week has been a disaster...the second zipper to my vivosun tent broke, leaving me stuck with no way to fully conceal my plants. Smell has been escaping and I had no choice but to pop a hole in the side of the tent and use a strap to keep the flap closed. It's a temporary fix until I muster up the courage to let go of my ego and replace this tent LOL. The reviews for this tent did warn about zipper malfunction I wish I paid more attention. With my haste to fix this solution I tried to move my tent into my closet and my closet door ended up falling on literally all 3 of my Critical plants. I had to cut half of each plant down basically and continue the growth on the stems that weren't damaged...damn that hurt to do. I'll never make that mistake again but my strawberry banana thankfully remained intact. I said I wouldn't defoliate more but she left me no choice. The colas on top were growing unevenly and I found tiny budsites below that were just taking up too much energy and clipped them off. I opened up the canopy more and stripped some more leaves...two days later the colas began to thicken equally. Happy to see the growth continue and my girl not go into stress. Can't wait to see progress one week from now.

We are at week 10 YAY! She is getting so dense it's crazy! My oldest but slowest growing plant and I must say the slow growth is causing fatter buds and I love that. She is officially radiating fruity tropical scents and it's hard not to sniff her every five seconds haha. I haven't fed her nutes yet but she will get some Friday and probably next week before I stop it completely. Making sure the soil stays moist and doesn't dry out...I also topped her off with some moist Coco Coir and I think it has made a huge difference! The plant itself is voluptuous but maintains her tiny form while growing thicker buds. I seriously cannot wait until she is finished. My broken tent is causing a little bit of lint to get on my plants..a few cat/dog hairs on the buds but nothing excessive. I have to keep the door to that room open so the AC can keep the temps at the correct level. At night I am sure my two cats are visiting that room but they haven't bothered my plants much so no worries there. I will say at like week 6 my cat decided to take a little stroll on top of the soil on my plants...she left paw prints as evidence :P....Not much else to say here!

She is getting more dense and still throwing out white pistils all over the place! Having to constantly pluck leaves to keep the canopy open but other than that nothing new to report! I am going to be feeding her one more time this Friday and then she will go the next 2-3 weeks with just PH leveled water and hopefully ready for harvest! I really want to take photos of her outside to get a better glimpse at her beauty...these grow lights throw my camera all the way off but at least you can see her bushy colas in all her glory LOL!

Nothing new to update on..buds are still reaching their final form..I was going to stop feeding nutes but honestly it looks like she has an entire month or more to go still..the buds still aren’t fattening as they would in their final stage. I just bought cal mag so I threw some in there.

Soooo it turns out Ms. Strawnana did not in fact want to be fed more. I did my usual feeding with some cal mag as well and she got nutrient burn all over the top buds...the baby sugar leaves specifically. I flushed it out with 4 gallons of water and that seemed to do the trick, it hasn't spread more. Tried to take a few photos outside, I swear I haven't gotten a photo yet that truly showcases how badass she is. She is gorgeous! I am however, losing patience with her...like hurry the f***k up and let's get to harvest! She has at least 4 weeks or more to go. Still not seeing that final bud swell...yet! Also, it's been a hot a** week here in CT, with temps of 90 all week I've been having trouble keeping consistent temperatures. Every few hours the tent gets checked and I had temps from 83 to 76 degrees with humidity jumping between 60-40%....One night I woke up to switch the lights back on and that s***t was reading 70% humidity!!! It's a struggle when the room my tent is in has no AC, it relies on the AC in my room which gets turned on and off to save on the utility bill. It ain't cheap to keep cool!

Swelling at last! I am finally seeing calyxes popping out in areas and a stronger smell of pine rather than fruity. The last photo I trimmed off the nutrient burnt leaves. I was beginning to worry that it may affect the buds but it doesn’t appear that way. Some hints of purple on a few tops..I’ve been trying to purple up my 2 criticals with a fan and I’m sure the breeze is hitting this one as well in the night. That’s all for now!

Getting closer and closer to harvest I believe 2-3 weeks left! Trichomes are looking great! I got maybe 25% amber on the top calyxes. She just needs to swell a bit more before I feel confident to chop. She is getting flushed with water I have yet to do the full flush most likely this weekend..so next week hope to see that leaf fade even more!

Week 15 brings fading leaves and denser buds..when I squeeze them they feel rock hard! I think in 1-2 weeks she will be getting chopped. I will continue to flush for that fuller fade...hoping to bring out some colors during this and maximize terpenes and trichomes. Looks like I'll have to pay close attention to those yellow leaves when trimming...I did trim up one bud and it took a bit of time for me to get everything clean off. I'm so excited to harvest her it's been a loooooong journey for an autoflower!

Strawberry Banana was chopped at 17 weeks and dried for 12 days..104 grams on the scale which is roughly 3.7 oz…Pretty awesome for one plant I think! She took me a few hours to trim and let me tell you I was so impatient to jar her up during the drying process. She smells super piney idk that I would say I get any fruity aroma but dank regardless! Her appearance does lack a little due to my burning her with nutes at week 10..kinda mad at myself for that but she still has plenty of bag appeal. I just know she could’ve been frostier! Got a good amount of kief from the trim as well. Overall my best plant from my first grow. She has taught me so much and I’ll never forget her!
