These are starting to begin their lives now. Hoping for a girl but last I checked.... they take a while to show so I may take a clone as early as possible to then stick into flowering and find out.
@Inquisitor, nah man you're not mental haha you can take cuttings basically at anytime as long as it's not an auto then reveg them no problem, it's not optimal but it's possible my #1 favorite diary on grow diaries is a single leaf clone taken during flower lol check out ONE LEAF on here from grower BEANS - one leaf is a clone hero lol
@CRiSPrGrow, I have a question that maybe you might have come across... Its about cloning.
I was thinking, i have a much faster response and better success rate (Given my clones have really shitty conditions haha) if i take the clones during the first week of flowering.
Im reasoning that given after you cut the stem the plant can no longer take up any nutrients, it has to go off what it has already stored. After the first week of flowering the change in nutes gives the plant extra phosphorus that it has already taken up... so given phosphorus is important for root development (i think its phosphorus lol) having some stored in the plant may be a beneficial factor for cloning.
After all, the plant can have as much rooting hormone it likes, it wont help root development if it does not already have the building blocks?? Am i right or just mental haha, Or have you come across this before?
Cheers for your comments and your help... its much appreciated π
@CRiSPrGrow, Haha yes! I hope she does better than the other one i did. Last one was just an off pheno i think. but this girl looks big and healthy and im happy your tuned in. she is gonna be a beauty! thanks for the support, lets enjoy the final stage :) π
@Inquisitor, i've watched this thing veg for almost 4 months now... let's have some flowers ! let's see how she does , looks like she's gonna be unruly ! π
What is the point of this? Itβs super tall and thin as a pencil .. it has no leaves on the bottom 2/3rds of plant. Theyβre so thin even if they are female it will just fall over.. sorry man. But lmao...
@@@TheWeedMan, I would imagine the Lollipopping was to redirect growth to the top of the plant where most the light will be and away from the bottom where it will make small buds. The apical meristem uses Auxin to restrict its following axillary buds from developing in a process called Apical dominance. This allows for higher amounts of hormones to be delivered to the leading bud sites compared to the side-shoots. This is why we Top our plants!! By removing/topping the apical budsite you are turning the the next two stems into apically dominant sites leading to a more even distribution in Bud growth a wider plants ^.^
I'm sure he plans on using a Scrog or some other method of support if the buds get to big.
Amazing strain bro! If iβm not mistaken, itβs the strain from which PEDANIOS (a strain that countries buy for their medical marijuana program) was made! Will grow it for sure! Check me out bro! Thanks
