This is a freebie from a recent order. 2018 cannabis cup winner, Spumoni. Super excited to have such a fresh strain. It's not even on the strain list for The Plug. Weekly updates around Sunday.
Spumoni. Wow this thing jumped overnight. Shes gonna be hungry, and temperamental. Ill have to stay on top of this and my Killer Kush. These things are keeping me busy. Transplant coming very soon.
Friday update- spumoni is in s 2.5 gallon square pot. I plan on vegging for 2 weeks, then into a 4g square pot a few days before flip.
Week 3 and spumoni looks good. I'm adjusting nutrients and dialing in. Looks to be a tad N-sensitive(pun intended) but seems good on calmag. Probably 2 weeks til flip.
Friday- chugging right along. I have some choices to make. Spend 2 more weeks vegging and training. Or fill out my flower room and not waste wattage and SF.
Sunday-looking good, healthy.
Spumoni is starting to dislike veg. Shes starting to show cal-mag issues, even with a cal-mag regiment. pH is great, I might raise it a little to help magnesium uptake. In a deeper bucket and into flowering next week.
26F-she is managing her own canopy. It will be ready for screening this week with flowering.
All trained down for flowering. My phone was broken during this period restricting pictures. I believe my training effects later flower. Im updating into flowering over the next day or so. some weeks will be missing entirely.
Week one of flower came as i broke my phone. Killing any chance of photos being taken. This was snapped but i couldnt move it or post it til a new phone was purchased. These are now close to 30 days in flower now. I will post photos during lights come on tomorrow (11/17).
Spumoni all screened down for flower
Spumoni hasn't responded as well as I would have liked. It has resisted SCROG and just didn't want to let the nodes grow. If your going to grow this go with LST or just let it go natural.
Spumoni hasn't responded well to screening. And I wish I would have screened another plant I have down instead. But it has some decent bud site, but a lack of vertical growth from them.
39F- she's staring to bulk and sugar up. Pretty happy so far.
Spumoni is coming up! Showing her 2018 CC winning genetics. She's chunky. And getting bigger. She would have long, fat buds if it weren't for the screen
Spumoni is continuing to surprise me. She's getting chunky and will be getting the best seat in the house next week for finish. I have currylato and sorbet by The Plug. I'm going to run another next round. This diary will get better when I cut big girl in front of her next week.
Spumoni is coming up now. She's bulking, heavily. I'm really, really excited for this one. Many colored phenos, and a bang up genetic collaborative. Stayed tuned folks!
Spumoni is bulking, and changing colors too. I'm very happy she is in my flower room. I can wait fo see the final product. Leaf to calyx is a little high, but I dont mind washing the trim either.
E: very piney, citrus smell. A little herby.
SPU-mon-I! Great googly moogly this this is nasty. Like cam 2 mixed with grape moonshine! I can see why it won an award. This is going to be a hard one to smoke
77F- ITS TIME!
She very strong. Produce a kind of high leaf to calyx ratio but I do love bubble hash soooo... I've never hear of The Plug. I got this as a promo with 2 other Plug seeds. I'm super excited for the quality, and look forward to the next 2 or 3 months. Try them out folks, The Plug, Spumoni.
@Therealmadscientist, im running a spumoni to (check diaries) , shes with a few other strains ...so far behind the others veg wise ...like yours. Hoping shel be worth it tho!

Im doing a Spumoni and a Sherb tree atm ...il be happy if i can do half as good job as you. Iv got freebies of Sorbet and Currylato by the plug to so im looking forward to seeing how your currylato turns out to. Hope it goes as well as your Spumoni did!

@CommanderCannabis, if I could go back I would screen it for 2 weeks before flipping. I screened it down and flipped it the same day. I'll be buying some more of these beans. This was a freebie
Great job, I got those freebies too but tried the currylato first, now I'm doing the Sorbet, then Spumoni (save best for last and all)
