Germination
Didn’t take any photos of the seeds during germination process but all seeds popped within 24 hours, Water Melon Zkittles germinated so fast it lost its shell in the paper towel (high hopes for this one) had to plant this very carefully into my five gallon pots. Misting with water daily and keeping the soil close to the seed moist to ensure optimal growth. Excited to see how they look at the start of next week.

Everything seems to be going well it’s been a week since they have been placed into their pots. There is some slight yellowing of the flower, I think maybe they have been over watered slightly. Making sure now not to over water and try to let the roots breathe now. Sometimes temperate is dropping to around 15 degrees but with the lights on a 20/4 cycle, hopefully this will be okay maybe you can let me know? Excited to start giving nutrients next week at half dosage. Struggling to work out how much water to actually give at this stage. Please let me know how many litres you think I should give, I was thinking 1/4 of the pot in litres so about 5 litres per pot would that be too much during week 2?

Had a strange week, felt like the seedlings were overwatered so turned the soil over and watered more sparringley, at the start of the second week I’m feeding 500ml and started adding nutrients. I think I over fed before as the seedlings were yellowing but now they seem perfect. The race of the strains in on, who will win?

What are your opinions on how they look? I believe some of the leaves look really bad and poor, does anybody know what could’ve cause this? Checked the PH of my nutrients and was 4 points too low! Nightmare! Have increased the light intensity to 75% on the TS1000 and turned the inline fan to keep the humidity around 50% and they seem to be liking it more. I have just been watering with no nutrients until my PH neutraliser arrives. I’m going to start LST this week since them seen a decent size to begin, this is my first time. Once I start seeing pistils I will start utilising bloom nutrients.
