The growers at Dutchfem have managed to create another great new Lemon Cookies Kush hybrid strain. They’ve chosen to cross the Dutchfem Girl Scout Kush with our new delicious Super Silver Lemon Haze. The result is a sativa dominant hybrid with a high amount of THC. The plant is easy to grow and is guaranteed to provide a high yield. Even in somewhat colder climates and/or a grow tent with new generation LED Lights, this strain will guarantee a high yield with a thick layer of THC Crystals.
The feminised seeds of Lemon Cookies Kush give nice, full plants that are suited for Scrog, LST and SOG growing methods. When growing inside in pots you can control the plants’ height fairly well. Outside and in open soil (meaning without pot), the plants can get fairly big. By topping them regularly, Lemon Cookies Kush feminized seeds give a nice full bush that won’t grow too high but will still give a high yield. Obviously, they can get a little bigger in a warmer climate compared to colder climates but that also means you will get a better yield
Once harvested and dried, the Lemon Cookies Kush’s tops give a very relaxed yet long lasting high. If you’re still having doubts about whether to go with a haze or a kush, this hybrid is a good alternative. It gives a euphoric high because of the sativa dominance but it also gives a relaxed feeling. In both taste and scent you can clearly recognize lemon that’s being amplified by the spicy Girl Scout Cookies Kush influences in this new hybrid strain. All in all is the new Dutchfem Lemon Cookies Kush a welcome addition to our catalogue of feminized cannabis seeds that every cannabis connoisseur has to have tried at least once.
they're evolving nicely, all plants seem to have the same size right now
started adding light nutrition
it's getting real hot over here, daylight temp. is going over 30°C...yesterday i read 32,5°C leaf temperature
Trying something this run: i remived all big leaves exept the latest 4 small ones...
in the last years i noticed all plants that had trouble when they were young (and lost all big leaves) all outshined the others later on because the regrowth had much more leaf-mass and therefore more photosynthesis
Let's see where this is going...they'll definately survive it but i just hope i didn't stress them too much and they don't herm...
They all have 8 nodes now and got toped
sadly i overwatered them the last week in their small pots, but not much harm done...soon they'll thrive again
repoted into their final home (30L fabric pot)
used a new mix for soil:
50% T.A. light mix (peat free)
30% Coco
10% perlite
10% worm castings
added:
extra silicia
trichoderma & mycoryzha
Bokoshi Biochar (check https://www.bokashibiochar.co.uk/ )
now after they've grown into their new pots they really like it
installed the new Growcontrol Pro with WiFi and Co2 injection
works like a charm, currently keeping the Co2 level at 1200ppm for about half the day, will increase the Co2 time after they get bigger
VPD ist at 10.0hpa without Co2 and at 7hpa with Co2
if you missed it last week: check https://www.bokashibiochar.co.uk/ for some great soil additive!
good week, increased nutes
installed some slow release watering rings(a little faster then drop watering) for better water distribution in the pot ...now watering is semi-automatic
flowering time now!
They already stretched alot...
kept temp at 32°c and Co2 at +-1200ppm all week for 12h...let's see how they like it next week
Plan is to keep those temps and ppm till end of week 3 flower
defoiled here and there
increased nutes and gave some extra PK
stretch is in full progress now
kept Co2 level at +-1200ppm
plants are not super healthy but looking good again
a little early, half week, update as i´m fleeing the bad weather here...departing to a sunny island tomorrow morning
kept Co2 at 1200ppm so far...Co2 bottles are empty now, so from now only normal Co2 levels... conclusion so far: great growth enhancement but needs further testing for best results...had some overwatering issues which stunted growth, next try next run
i went on holiday and installed an automatic watering pump...seems like it didn't activate as planed...when i got back after 7 days the pots were compleatly dry...
i removed alot of dead foliage from beneath...i would have removed it for better airflow soon anyways...so not much harm taken...
after a big watering they looked fine again
budgrowth didn't seem to be affected by the complete dryout...let's see where this goes...buds look perfectly fine so far
Buds evolving greatly, stretch is over
RH is perfect at the moment..doesn't exceed 60% any time
Added some more PK...last time now, leaf tips already seem a little bit burned
reduced lights to 50% (250w)
buds getting incredibly big and resinous
scent is very strong when i open up the tent
i'll give them another 2 weeks till harvest
Finally it's harvest time! I really can't wait for this strain to finish drying...it smells so delicious...
Gave them only water with some clean fruits which is basicly humic acid for 10 days not because of some 'washing' just because i want to reuse some of the earth to keep some of the established beneficial bacteria and want it drained of most fertilizer
Actually i don't believe in 'washing' ...i don't wash my garden tomatoes too...neither did i with my outdoor cannabis plants that grew in the ground and i found no evidence of any difference in harshness or taste
Next week some update with final weight and of course a smoke report
awesome strain with incredible lemon scent and taste when you open the jars it smells like a bag of skunky lemons
They had the strongest smell of all plants this grow
Fat buds with awesome lemon scent and taste!
Highly recommended strain!
It was a pleasure to grow, plants and buds look fantastic
I would grow it again anytime!
