Germination

Just logging the breeding project Going to allow a male polyhybrid cross of Strawberry Cola Exotic Seed cross with a (FastBuds Zkittlez/ Melon Glue) pollinate this Feminized girl for regular autoflowering offspring. Hoping these F1s will have a heavy red fruit cola characteristic for future use. August 11th evening she broke ground August 8th Was transferred to a 3.9G pot of living soil with mycorrhizae added in to help with root development and plant stresses

Lady was the first to pop out of 3 cultivars Placed a good TBSP of Dynomyco Mycorrhizae in the soil in a way that a tap root will get the most inoculation to the tap root IMO or well hoping Not much to report next couple weeks is the slow time while the roots expand and a few node growths up then the fast fun starts :)

Girl still in the lead compaired to the other 2 girls nice growth. Don't know what to say besides everything there for the best that they can be waterings when needed, Mycorrhizae in soil and very good soil. August 21 Pinched off 3rd set of fan leaves developing and will continue to pinch off the fan leaves forces the axil branches to develop more, since light penetration a perk of defoliation the axil branches nodes become tighter space. From what I've experienced an noticed.

Pinching off the fresh fan leaves that develop so the side branches don't stretch out to much while in the vegetative phase so theres a chance for more nodes (inflorescence future sites). Am also pushing on them to be kinda leveled so they do go straight up and crowd each other. Day 14 Still leading the group and being very healthy looking at that. Mycorrhizae and good soil go along way with just simple ph water.

Showed primordial calyx on node sites on Day 21. Top fed 2TBSP Black Swallow Living Soil Organic Bloom Mix. Be selectively defoliating fan leaves to allow better light penetration while she's going through the stretch phase be like 5-8 leaves a day less then 20% of her canopy foliage not looking to stress out for growth to slow. Soft LST bending branches, not super cropping or tying down

Day 31 This girl drinking water and growing, biggest one in size out of the 3, she seems behind on inflorescence sites compared to another but all and all she's healthy and strong so maybe she'll be a big yielder 🤞 am keeping her comfortable, not aiming to stress her root zone

Been 2 weeks good amount of inflorescence developed I cause a minor PH issue lock-out on nutrients is showing, Potassium push was heavy. Preformed 3 watering with 1ml/L of Purpinator haha, yea so I've learnt living soil once a week with that, hydroponics yea toss into fertigation. So minor negative effects In other news this specimen cultivar was part of a breeding program and has won she's been getting F1 pollen from a male that performed well on growth characteristics been manually dusting inflorescence sites with individual male flowers held by tweezers and qtips rolled in pollen Her sisters are sinsemilla have a few more preserved in Fem seed form in breeder pack

So minor negative effects Manually dusting with pollen from a F1 Male (Strawberry Cola X [Zkittlez Melon Glue]) This cultivar specimen won the competition on development for size to time ratio, inflorescence amount and easy of growing. She's a thirsty one and takes to living soil well Made a video multiple attempts yet failed to upload

Pollinated and seeded just a waiting game Hard seeing her preggo, best of show for a reason 17" HxW and nice frosty inflorescence structure, girl won the prize to be a mom and set forth more Cherry Cola F1 in regular form 🤗♀️♂️💚🌱Regular seeds rock. Fem seeds are awesome too just not the route I'm taking for breeding always had troubles with colloidal silver, no interest in handling STS. So much easier with regs

This girl is almost about done hahaha gotta say it takes time still see some greenies but seeing completely dead foliage around enclosed seed so she's close :) really looking forward to growing out the F1s hoping this bush trait stick compared to Strawberry Cola branching style great for LST carpet with Cola's ;) this girl showing outdoor potential as a patio planter may need to step up my game and win a FastBuds competition definitely be requesting this cultivar Cherry cola

Damn 16 weeks that's a long ass run. Shew wee! I just requested these in my list of contest winnings. Hope for fire!

@@@DoughHead, presently I practice male to female pollination. Fire choice to request in a winning I'm planning on that as well LoL I've tried colloidal silver spraying 5 grow attempts on 15+ autos total with no success. Colloidal silver can do it just need around 50ppm with the added aid of PGR's which I later learnt. PGRs are needed to help with the pollen sacks to open plus some cultivars have 2 pheno's to lock down for a successful attempt 1 for X/x pollen the 2nd for receiving the X/X pollen. Personally I would look for STS take the PPE seriously with handling and a small bag of PGR and attempt reverse sexing a plant. You are correct on spraying a branch or two to produce pollen to pollinate the same plant, seeds be a S1 as for how those seeds will grow the curious part is what I've seen multiple times is local ppl reverse plants to pollinate a bunch to others and just get girls that produce male flowers randomly on a the female plant. No guarantee in the end that the homemade Fem seed with produce a proper Fem girl that can grow true from start to finish

@SaiyanLettuce, yeah I see that you made seeds. Did you just reverse it with spray? Or use a male with it? I want to try silver spray and get some reversals out of my larger plants. Nervous to cause them ALL to be seedy. Reversing like 2 or 3 lower branches would be perfect if possible.
