Just now starting the diary entry for this girl. I have the Mimsosa x Orange Punch growing next to the Space Panda by Atlas Seeds (has its own diary). Will be updating weekly from here on out. Included with this entry will be seedling and all of veg. I have pretty much grown these two plants the same just a little differences here and there. So to start this off, I started this plant straight into the soil. I usually use this method. I don't do anything crazy or anything like the water or paper towel trick. I throw seeds straight into the soil. I started it under a 24-hour light schedule until I saw it pop out of the soil and then switch right into an 18/6 light schedule. The soil I used was Fox Farms Ocean Forest. I am still in love with this soil regardless of the hate it gets as of late. I have never had an issue with it being too hot. Every time I use it my plants always seem to love it. I started it in a little nursery-style pot and grew it out until it showed signs of it needing to be transplanted. I transplanted it right into a 3-gallon fabric pot with Ocean Forest and some Root Down by Mother Earth. I don't normally use Root Down but my local grow store had a huge sale on it so I had to grab a couple of bags of it just to give the soil it's added to a little bit extra. I don't plan on using it anymore once I run out unless my local grow store has another huge sale on it. the 3-gallon pot will be its final pot. I topped it twice. I topped it once at the 5th node and then again at the second new node from the new growth. For a 2x2, I will not be doing that again. I just wanted to see what it would do and respond, but I think one topping is perfect for two plants in a 2x2. It has been thirstier and hungrier compared to its sister the Space Panda. It also has been a lot more sensitive. It shows a lot more when it gets too hot or when it is thirsty compared to its sister. I did run into a couple of times where the temperature crawled up into the lower 90s F and it definitely showed it was not happy. The Space Panda was unaffected by it but the Mimosa x Orange Punch showed weird leaf growth and leaves twisting and curling. Have been feeding according to the feeding chart by Mother Earth nutrients. I didn't feed it anything until the soil ran out of nutrients to give which is usually around that 30-day mark. Overall I can see this strain giving some people some issues but overall it's fairly easy to grow so far going into flower.
