Time for another run, decided to run a single plant this time in my tent.
Seed is in a cup of distilled water for 24 hours, after 24 hours I will put the seed(should have taproot sprouted) directly into Pro-Mix HP in a 5 gallon pot. I will also cover it will a dome until seedling emerges.
I also have mixed the Pro-Mix HP with dechlorinated tap water that has a pH of 6.5
Week 1 is officially in the book for our little OG Kush lady and have our first watering down with some silica blast. Took this little lady about 2-3 days to break the surface, which I did actually plant a little on the deep side. So I did cautiously remove some media from the area the seed was planted and within a day she emerged.
I've been giving the pot a quarter turn every day, I also decided to change my light schedule. I have "night time" between Noon and 6pm, which seems to have been helping with the higher mid day heat.
This particular cultivar seems to be growing at a pretty decent rate, which is super exciting.
I currently have the light set to 60% and is between 18-20 inches away.
Thanks for stopping by growmies and have a great week!
Been a week of maintaining humidity and letting this little lady do her thing. I haven't had a 2nd watering yet and depending on how long it take to dry out, she may get her first feed a few days early.
She is pretty squat which I'm sure had something to do with the higher light intensity that I started her out with, but for this grow this is what I'm going for.
Depending on how big she is in a next week or so. I'll start some LST
Hopfully she'll fill out my tent nicely.
I'm feeding the Flora series still, but for some reason it doesn't want to log the correct nutrients so I'll do it down here.
Cal-Mag 1mL/gal
FloraMicro 1 mL/gal
FloraGro 1mL/gal
FloraBloom 1mL/gal
Either this thing is stunted from the jump or it's not the best genetics, 21 days in and it's 4 inches tall, also has a weird let's call it a "leaf scar" that doesn't actually look like a leaf miner but it's the closest thing I can think of, however it never spread and it's been on the leaf since it sprouted, but noticed that it's appearing to die off so I did a little trimming.
Maybe it'll be a late bloomer, I'm going to stick with her and see what she decides to produce. Hopefully I'm not just pissing in the wind.
She seems to have bounced back a bit, decided to tie her down and start opening up some budsites. I have been checking on it daily to adjust the tie down on the main cola when needed. I have adjusted the light height as well as been slowly creeping up the intensity every week.
I'm hoping she continues to veg for at least two more weeks, I'd like to bush her out just a bit more. I am happy that she seems to have gotta a foot hold on some growth, I am excited to see where she's headed.
That's it for this week growmies have a great week and stay high!
It's been a pretty easy week of rotating the pot daily and adjusting the tie-downs every other day or so.
She is showing some nice bud sites and is starting to show some pre-flowering pistels.
She's been doing a decent job of bushing out, despite her small stature I'm really happy with how the node spacing turned out.
While she probably isn't going to yeild half a lb. I have a feeling she's gonna be fire!
Been a pretty easy week again of adjusting tie down and tucking fan leaves.
After the heavy defoliation, she actually bounced back really quickly. She's really starting to show how vigourous she can be and the stretch is upon us.
I would say this week was more of a week of transition, started the week still in veg and finishing the week in the start of flower.
Interested to see how much she's going to grow in the next week or so.
Same shit, different color. Been a week of tucking and tying down with giving some time for the plant to adjust.
I have no clue what's going on with this website, but it's not the first time I've been experiencing issues. Hopefully it's being worked on, not sure what pictures will upload.
But she's still going strong and bushy.
Another fairly easy week, cleaned her up by getting rid of some of the dead and dying off leaves, She's really starting to focus on bud production.
I intially wasn't too sure what to think of this lady, and honestly I still don't, but I am having some fun growing and training her.
She has also switched over to a more frequent watering schedule with the humidity change in the grow room.
Working on dry stressing as well a bit, but not trying to over-do it too much since my media likes to go hydrophobic.
Thanks for stopping by and see ya next week.
Another week of just checking on her and tying parts down that will let me. I did let her loose for a few days and have since tied her down.
Training this lady as been so much fun and I can not wait to see how dense these buds will get, as they are starting to pack on some weight.
She is starting to smell of some strong gassy citrus. I can not wait for this one.
She is starting to put on some weight! She also STINKS of CITRUS & DIESEL, such a beautiful combo.
When I started this diary I honestly had no clue what to expect(based on looking at other diaries) or how I was going train her. I thought I stunted her(I'm sure I did) to the point of no return. I know there are a lot of growers out there that are fairly hands off, this is not the case. I have been putting in a decent amount of time and effort with this lady and I couldn't be happier with my outcome.
With this grow I can see myself becoming a scrogger
Another shoutout to Seedsman for providing another strong lady that can take some abuse. Looking forward to her putting on more weight and harvesting.
Thanks for stopping by and see you next week!
I've been a little behind with my uploads in previous weeks so this is my attempt to get it back on track, as I upload this today, I am currently one day ahead of this diary.
It's been a week of watching this beautiful lady put on some weight and the tent is filled with a deliciously pungent smell of citrusy diesel.
Starting to see a few amber trichomes as well as cloudy, still have a decent amount of clear trichomes right now. I do plan on trying to do some dry stressing to increase trichomes and other cannabinoid production starting this week.
Since we'll be rounding around day 80 I may give one more feed and start the flushing process for harvest as long as the trichomes are where I want them.
Thanks for stopping by and see you next week!
We are on the home stretch, I've been removing dead or heavy yellowing leaves as needed. She has been getting denser as the days go by. Based on what I am seeing on the trichomes she might be a 90 chop but potenitally might go about a week or so past that.
I do want to harvest her with a little more amber as I want her to lock me into the couch hard. But I still want her to be psychoactive, still seeing a decent amount of clear or some that are just starting to turn.
The citrus diesel just completely fills the tent, I can not wait for her to be dried out so I can break off a little tester nug.
I think this will be the last feed and from here on out I'll give her dechlorinated tap pH'd to 6.5
I attempted to upload a video, however it continues to fail.
Thanks for stopping by and see ya next week!
Another week down, and another week of being on autopilot. We are on the home stretch and I am paying attention to the trichomes. Based on what I'm seeing it might be another week or two. Most of the trichomes on top are cloudy, I do want some amber. A lot of the lower trichomes are still clear.
I've been maintaining lower temperatures the last few weeks and have been noticing the calyxes turning purple. I sitll have a decent amount of white pistils, I'm assuming the lower temps are slowing her down a bit.
Been just watering with dechlorinated tap pH'd to 6.5. I'm thinking she's gonna need a good 8 weeks of flower.
Thanks for stopping by and see ya next week!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today is day 100 and we have chopped our beautiful lady.
It was amazing watching her change and put on some beautiful colors. These buds should have some beautiful bag appeal.
I kept the temps fairly low throughout the final few weeks of flower, with the lowest the temps would get is about 65°F. And for the last 2 weeks or so only gave her dechlorinated tap water pH'd to 6.5.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, liked, commented and those of you that followed!!!! I love this community, thanks again Growmies!
What do you guys think about the main cola? My wife said it looks like a dick and balls....
327 grams whole plant wet weight. The stem weighed 12 grams alone.
