On August 10th, just six days since our last observation, there's been a substantial transformation in the development of our plants. Now, the early stages of bud formation are unmistakable. It's an exciting phase of growth. Notably, the structural components of the plants have primarily concentrated themselves on the branches, which is promising for the future weight and quality of the buds. However, it's crucial to be mindful of a potential issue: if the buds grow too large, there's a risk of the branches sustaining damage or even breaking. To address this concern, we employ a technique known as High-Stress Training (HST). During this phase, we intentionally create small, controlled damage throughout the branches. This strategic approach induces a network of microfractures along the branches, allowing them to flex and adapt as the buds continue to grow. It's a delicate but essential process for optimizing bud development.
