Week #2-Sep 4 to Sep 10 9/4-Increased nute load. 9/6-Runoff was about 200 ppm which is alot lower than the input. I'll up the nutes again on next watering. 9/7-Plant looks really healthy. Its already starting the 4th node. Upped nute load and the runoff was up to 270 ppm but still way below the inputs of 710 ppm. 9/9-Continues solid and quick growth. Runoffs are coming up a bit to 400 ppm now. 9/10-Really great week of growth. Plant is gobbling the nutes and asking for more. 5th node is well on the way. I compared this grow to another successful PP here on Grow Diaries and this one is a least a week ahead in terms of growth. I'm excited to see how this one comes out.

Week #3-Sep 11 to Sep 17 9/11-This one was looking so healthy that I decided that it could handle some HST to see if we can really increase the yield. So I fimmed her this morning followed up with a good soaking of the coco. I also increased the nute load up to 6.1/810 ppm. I'll know in 2 or 3 days whether that was a good idea or a horrible one. 9/12-After one day it looks like she handled the fimming with no issues. I've started some LST on the branches to get them going wide v tall. 9/13-New growth is already happening at the fim cut. Looks like at least 4 new colas will be forming. Runoff from watering was near 700 ppm so she is uptaking the nutes nicely now. Pink Panama Reference Grow https://growdiaries.com/diaries/144060-grow-journal-by-smokebigbuds/week/794865 9/14-It looks like we now have 4 distinct new branches forming quickly at the fim site. 3 days after the fimming the plant is showing no signs of stress and is growing fast. I'm using LST to pull down some of the longer, wider fan leaves and encouraging a flat canopy. So far so good. I also trimmed 2 large fan leaves from 2nd node. 9/15-Up to 7 inches now. Still growing like a fiend. I've done additional LST to spread the canopy wide with tieing down some stalks and trimmed away undergrowth. The branches are sturdy but malleable and are easy to move around a bit. Watered again today and runoff was 750 which is still under inputs. 9/17-First 3 weeks went well. Plant handled the topping very well. Next week I'll let her fully recover and wait for signs of preflower.

Week #4-Sep 18 to Sep 24 9/18-Plant is up to 9 inches tall now. Canopy is shaping up nicely with a little LST. The branches at the fimming location are now forming nicely into what looks like 6 new colas. It will be interesting to see how they develop. 9/20-More LST to even the canopy. 9/22-Did a little more fine tuning on the LST on the bottom. 8 branches which are growing laterally and starting to turn skywards. I had pulled the very top branches from the fim back down to expose the undergrowth which is now growing out nicely. So I released the wire this morning which will allow it to grow skyward above what should be 8 solid colas that should get great light. Plant is up to 11 inches in height now and is showing the very first signs of preflower with some white pistils emerging. I think I've done a really good job setting this PP up for max flowering period and hopefully a solid yield. We shall see. 9/24-She is up to 14 inches now. Preflower is definitely starting on all side colas and on top. She has handled everything I've thrown at her so far and looks very healthy after the first 4 weeks. The fim and LST has worked so far.

Week #5-Sep 25 to Oct 1 8/25-The plant grew 2 inches in one day and is showing no signs of slowing up even after a fim and LST. The canopy is spreading nicely but the top cola is growing tall fast in spite of the fim. I'm betting this one if going to be 3 ft plus still. Preflower is developing quickly. I had started the transition to bloom nutes 3 days ago and the plant is gobbling them up so I decided to go full bloom nutes and see how she does. 8/27-Plant continues its progress. After getting some great input from some fellow growers he on GD to a question it turns out that my Ph/EC instrument had lost its calibration and was underreporting my EC levels 20%. Unlike my Red Pistachio grow, this plant was not affected. Now I've not got my instrument properly calibrated, I adjusted my inputs to the proper levels, did a mini-flush w RO Ph balanced water, and then watered with the correct mix. Will monitor progress from here and hope that is sorted out for the final 2-3 weeks of bloom. Another lesson learned.

Week #5-Oct 2 to Oct 8 10/4-This PP continues to thrive. Up to 30 inches tall now. Lots of bud sites happening. Canopy is pretty even overall with a least 8 distinct colas starting to take shape. She's taking a pretty full nute load with Bud Ignitor for a couple more feeds. 10/5-Moved her into the big tent because she was growing so fast. Lots of bud sites with big long pistils. 10/8-First 6 weeks have been great. Plant is up to 34 inches now. Lots of bud sites developing. Canopy is wide and high with great light to the interior. In the next week the pistils should start to show their 'pink' kicking in. Looking forward to see how this one finishes up the next 4-6 weeks.

Week #6-Oct 9 to Oct 15 10/9-This plant is the fastest developing plant I've grown to date. Its size and bud site development is off the hook. Can't wait to see how this thing finishes up! 10/12-First signs of the 'pink' coming in. She just keeps growing. 10/15-End of seven weeks and she looks stunning. Great bud development. Getting frosty. Getting firm. Getting little hints of pink. Great spacing in between nodes which will make this very easy to harvest. And lots of light getting into the plant.

Week #7-Oct 16 to Oct 22 10/18-Buds are getting dense already. Got alot more 'pink' pistils coming in now. Shaping up nicely. 10/20-Added Overdrive into the nute mix now. Noticeably more 'pink' pistils are emerging and alot more frost. This one has been a fast starter and continues to develop quickly. Now I'm hoping she can close big by adding some density and bulk. 10/22-First 8 weeks have gone really well. Hard to believe she is this well developed in just 56 days. My first look at the trichomes under the microscope is showing cloudy and first signs of amber. At this pace I can't imagine she won't be ready to harvest in 14-21 days. This next week I'm expecting to see the pistils start to shrink and turn 'pink'. I'll continue with nutes this week and look to see some weight gain and bulking up by day 63. After that I'll think about whether to start flushing at that point.

Week #9-Oct 23 to Oct 29 10/25-I'm amazed at how fast this plant has grown and developed. At this rate it looks like I'll be flushing in a few days. 10/27-Trichomes are all cloudy with a hint of amber emerging. Leaves are starting to turn yellow. I'm going to keep feeding until day 63 and then start flushing. Day 70 is my target date for harvest. The buds are really starting to fatten up and I can't wait to see what the yield is. I've looked at a number of other PP grows which are very vertical like Xmas trees and have yielded 3 to 4 oz. I decided to FIM this one early on to see what would happen and its grown very wide and tall and does not look like any of the other PP grows. I'm betting this one goes over 4 oz. We shall see shortly. One thing is clear. Mephisto Genetics rocks!! 10/29-End of 9 weeks and she looks stunning. Start flush next week before harvest.

Week #10-Oct 30 to Nov 5 10/30-Day #1 Flushed to 5.82 ph/EC .82/ppm 560. Top buds are all ripe with lots of red pistils. Lower buds are less ripe and still showing wispy white pistils. Showing cloudy trichomes though. I'm hoping the lower buds can catch up a bit before harvest. I might consider harvesting the top 1/2 first and giving the lowers a couple days longer. 10/31-Day #2 Flush to 5.82/.71/490. Leaves are starting to turn yelllow. Flush #3 at end of the day to 6.11/.42/290. I could harvest the top half of the plant today but I'm going to try and wait until day 70 to give the bottom buds a chance to catch up. 11/1-Flush #4 to 6.22/.35/240 . Lower buds tightening up nicely. Amber on top buds is showing ready to go. Afternoon Flush #5 down to 6.4/.28/180. 11/2- Day 67-Decided to do a cut of the top 3rd of canopy to prevent the biggest buds from getting too amber and stony. First cut was 14.59 wet weight. I'll lower the lights for the rest of the plant and look to harvest the rest on Day 70. I think there is at least if not more left to cut than what I got so far.

This was the easiest grow I've ever done. This plant just wanted to grow big and fast. The Mephisto Genetics profile on the PP was that it grows high like a Xmas tree. But based on how healthy she was right from the get -go I decided to FIM her early on to see if I could get her growing wide as well as up and it worked amazingly well. The wet weight yield is over 2 lbs is going to get between 7 and 8 oz based on past experience. That is double what I've seen on any of the other Pink Panama grows here on Grow Diaries. Kudos to the folks at Mephisto Genetics!! If she smokes half as good as she looks this one will be in my Renbuds Hall of Fame! Once they are dried and cured I'll report back. Cheers-Renbuds

Bro I'm in day 10 11 or 12 or so, and I got the first set of leaves after the round leaves, and the second set of leaves are coming up. But nothing like yours. I don't understand how yall get explosive growth out of them in the first week. My last ones grew 5oz each and Mango smile looks to be 7 or 8oz. So mine eventually grew, I just don't get how you get the explosive grow at the very beginning man.

@renbuds, oh OK great. Mine is really fluffy. I've ran my light at 80-90% but had it as physically high in the tent as I can get it from day one. I never got it close to my babies. It's 670w and in a 4x4. You think maybe I could lower the light some to help get more sense nugs? Maybe I had a different pheno? My strawberry gorilla is dense as heck like I said before. So maybe it's just this pheno that's fluffy. I planted 4 more Mango smiles so hopefully I'll get some more dense buds next go around! Thanks for all the info and help i truly appreciate it. 🙏

Great job. I've yielded 7oz off my Mango smile. Tbat was dry wet before trim tho. Had the nicest smell out of all my grows. It's cookie dough with Mango chunks just sprayed with propane. It's wild. Highly recommend it! I got 4x more going now!
