ToxicTerps Alien OG was obtained through a trade, True Pineapple was received from local KC grower Fountain City Genetics 9/2/2023 - Seeds were sown with traditional methods; wet soil, and covered lightly. Light set to 24h and approx 1.5 ft away at 25-30%. Covered with plastic wrap, and vent holes added. Week 36 9/3/2023 - Seeds were watered and a heat mat was placed underneath the pots to increase germination rate/chances. 9/4/2023 - I became nervous that my pots were too heavy with water for proper germination to take place. I removed the plastic wrap felt the soil, and moved the seeds to the most optimal position. alien og has already sprouted about a centimeter tap root, and the other show signs of taproot incomeing soon. Allowed to sit uncovered for around 3 hours, and then recovered with plastic wrap. then decided to add Dynamaco Inoculants to the top of the soil, realizing should have done this with soil mix. 9/5/2023 - I became nervous that after moving about all of my seeds I was gonna kill the germination so I left them alone for this entire day. Through a hole, I was able to see the start of a cotyledon showing 9/6/2023 - Alien OG has sprouted and shot up! We have germination, and touching the top so I removed the plastic. I looked at the other seeds, one was germinating and the other was split open. once all are out I will wait about a week before I send them into a veg or nutrient cycle. have not watered anything yet since the last note of it. I decided today that I will not remove any other tops until I see green. Need to be patient. 9/7/2023 - Nothing was done to any of the pots 9/8/2023 - I sifted through the soil to try to locate the tap roots of the true pineapple. One was cracked and the other was unable to be found, I went ahead and started soaking two more seeds because I was becoming skeptical that these would be viable. I will use the paper towel method this time around, hoping that they can catch up to the Alien OG. 9/9/2023 - Seeds were left soaking. Watered the Alien OG with bottled spring water, looking good and acting cool Week 37 9/10/2023 - Seeds were added to a paper towel on the plate following Kyle Kushman's methods 9/11/2023 - The plate has nothing growing, a small 4-inch fan was added to just move the plant around a little bit. and the Alien OG was not watered. 9/12/2023 - Watered the paper plate with the seeds still on it, grow light was turned up to about 30%. I think that with the failure to germinate the seeds, I will buy clones at the end of the week and grow those instead so that I can still experience a nice harvest. At that time I would probably wait 4 days in pot before going into a 2-3 week veg to fill up a SCROG. Can't get a picture to upload. 9/13/2023 - I have added a fan to the bottom and turned it on. this pushed the plant over to the side, the stem not being sturdy enough. I turned the fan and tried to straighten the plant. 9/14/2023 - The fan's air bouncing off of the wall was still enough for the plant to tip over so I turned the fan off, and straightened the pants up and down. The light is on for 24 hours still, but I think I will switch it to 18/6 tomorrow. have not watered still heavy, and want to start with nutrients as soon as I can. The light was turned up about 5%. At about 40% right now 9/15/2023 - I have watered this lady with regular distilled and filtered water. (later pH test comes back in 8's). roots are growing nicely in the fox farm ocean forest, beautiful and white. Lights have been switched to an 18/6 hour schedule now and are going to be qualified as in veg soon, I want to get my clones caught up to the seed or at least even.

ToxicTerps I am adding this week to start on the 21st of September. I will not be checking in every day, but will try to at least provide one picture. To practice my patience I need to stop worrying about answering here and a line must be drawn for their survival. 9/21/2023 - The plant is doing well and drying out, which is a good sign that is uptaking nutrients! This plant was fertilized with the seedling/clone week levels given in the House and Garden sample kit 10 and 8-week harvest schedules. This was done on the 18th I believe and watered with distilled water to saturation today, with no runoff. I had squeezed the stem hard in two different places after hearing about the super nutrient knuckle highway that one can create by doing this. My stem has split but is looking strong still. I have had to come to a decision that I will not be messing with any of my plants except for on specific days to ensure that I do not overstress them and practice good patience. I am also really debating whether or not I should let them all just grow with no kind of training to offer the best kind of beginner experience, or at the very least let this one just grow with no kind of training. I did not ph Either water source before watering as I had forgotten. Just now measured the pH of the nutrient solution at 4.6, which was adjusted up to 5.8 or so. The distilled water from my source comes out at about 8.8 so going to need to figure out some kind of solution for this issue. I'm feeling good though I do believe that the leaves could look a little better as the edges are curling down and all. I have heard that too dark is an issue and all but I think that might be overthinking it so I'm just going to leave them alone and not do any kind of messing around with anything until Sundays. Light is at just over 50% and is about 20 inches away from the tops of the plant. 9/28/23 - Coming in for another report. I think they are all gonna look like this with entries. it is unnecessarily hard for me to upload pictures onto this website. I have come across issues with the way that this plant was looking. The leaves were all curled and wavy and looked super dark, so I believe that I provided nutrients too early, and the water that I was watering at was pH of 8+. The nutrients were at a low pH too in the 5s. So I used a pH monitor from Amazon calibrated and fed with a pH of 6.35. This has given me a much better-looking plant all around within a few days. I also measured the run-off to make sure that that was in a good range and it was 6.5. The bottom leaves were looking weird and bumpy so I sterile removed them. Roots are looking good and will be ready for an update about 1.5-2 weeks from now. Humidity was low so I added a few collection trays full of water in front of a fan, this has brought it up about 10% to 60 or so on ground level, I think that this also has helped with a better-looking plant. Light is about 50% on right now. going to go real slow and make sure that its healthy as can be before going into flower. Also realizing now a much thicker stem is needed before attempting to break that inside barrier, definitely has stunted some growth for this plant. Letting the soil completely dry before I water it. Watering in the evening, checking early morning too just temp and humidity. Apparently, this is supposed to be a more difficult strain to grow so I am excited for this challenge to start off, along with me having some other plants too.
