Gnome Bonsai

Trying something different, growing an auto inside a chia pet, hoping to make something whimsical, bonsai style. 9/6 - dropped the seed in water. 9/7 - tried drilling drainage holes and knocked out a good size hole with the drill once the bit pushed through... that'll work! 9/8 - she started sprouting a tail, so into the chia pet she went 9/9 - I dug around and she's working down, gave her a bit of an extra drink with Hygroben and Recharge to help with root development. 9/10 - nothing yet, keeping her moist by spraying with water and covering with a plastic soup cup 9/11 - I can see the seed trying to break the surface 9/12 - finally popping up!
