Germination week: Germinated for 12 hours in water, then placed in a Rapid Rooter plug. Seedling was placed in the pot on day 4. Top water while roots established 2 to 3 times daily. PH kept as close to 6 as possible. Lights kept 24 inches from seedling.

Roots began sprouting from the cup on day 11 from seed. Ph is kept as close to 6.0 as possible. Cyco nutes at half strength. So far I am very happy with the MarsHydro TS 1000 light. The seedling seems very happy. No signs of heat or light stress. Because it is so young I keep it 24 to 30 inches above the seedling and will hopefully end up with the lights at 12 inches from the canopy. The Vivosun seems to be a good tent. No light leaks and feels very durable. The Vivosun ventilation is much more quiet than other setups. This gear is well suited for an apartment where space and noise are an issue.

Week two of Veg. Things are looking good overall. The plant is getting its 3rd set of leaves and was 5 inches tall at the start of the week The leaves looked just a tad hungry so I increased feeding just a bit. I want vibrant green rather than dark green. Overdosing on nutes leads me to trouble in the flowering phase. In addition, now that the roots are quickly establishing themselves, I added great white to the root system, both in the pot and the reservoir. I do this both to try and create a good nutrient uptake but also to crowd out potential negative organisms that can lead to root rot. The brown on the roots is staining from the Humic Acid in the nutes. Root rot is slimy not simply stained. I smell the roots. So long as they smell like fresh carrots I don't worry. Aside from working to dial in the nutes for this strain, my focus this week is really going to be on establishing the main stalk and root system. I'll top the plant and begin training it toward the end of the week I think. I topped the plant on week 2 day 4. I topped after the 3rd node. Leaving half an inch of stem above the node to prevent splitting once the plant gets bigger.

Increased to full feeding regimen this week. This plant was also showing some minor signs of light stress. A few of the top leaves had yellow tips. One leaf had a slight curl on the edge. After checking PH, temp, and considering the location of the issue, I conclude that while I will keep watch, it is likely light stress. I dimmed the light to 75% and will monitor. My opinion when trouble shooting is to rule out easy stuff before I start making major adjustments. If it continues for another day or so, I will reassess. Around day 21 from seed, the plant began growing much more vigorously. This has always been my experience in DWC growing. The root system is also growing exponentially as well. As soon as the tops come through the net, I will begin to train it for SCROG. I debated topping it one more time, however, given the small size of the tent (2x2) I was concerned I would run out of space during the stretch. She is still no where near ready for the flip. No sex characteristics and the shoots are not staggard yet. I am pretty impressed that given the stage of growth, I can already smell the plant when the tent is open.

Still some training to do and I would like a bigger root ball before I flip anyway. I did notice the very first sing of sex characteristics this morning. I am leaning toward topping the horizontal branches and letting the side shoots grow bigger. I guess I'll see.

Felt it was right to flip. The coverage is about 75% right now so 2 weeks of stretch should do nicely. Canopy is still looking kind of fugly due to training. Unfortunately, I had a couple branches break from getting into the Res. I'll hopefully do the rest of any pruning this week and finish training the plant. Hopefully the plantvwont look so ugly anymore. The roots are exploding in growth. I'd post a picture but I can't pull the res top off enough without potentially breaking branches. I'll try and get a camera in there when I do a water change. I am really looking forward to trying this strain.

The tops are beginning to show signs of flowering. The training is done. I was a bit worried about the stretch and running out of room, however, it seems to be just right. I'll update here a couple times during the week as it progresses. It should move quickly. So prediction...if I get 4 dry oz from this 2x2 tent I'll be happy.

Day 14 of flower, the plant has stretched a bit but appears to be slowing down. If it stretches much more I will do some more LST. The plant is already starting to smell a bit. It's an interesting smell that I can't quite put my finger on yet. The bud sites are forming and all seems very healthy. I will have it on full bloom nutes and may increase feeding a bit. Day 18 a cal mag deficiency was seen. I increased feeding quite a bit of the base nute. Just a note to self, this strain likes about 25% more nutes than other strains I've grown Only day 18 and already good tricrome growth on the leaves.

I think the strech is about over. Bud set has really started to move this week. I will say that this strain leaned more saliva and the branches streched more than I thought they would. No biggie, just flip a few days earlier next time. Around day 18 I started to notice that she looked pretty hungry. I don't usually run cyco full strength but I've needed to with her. Again just good fyi. She is looking good. I am predicting between 4 and 5 oz dry. I started adding supa sticky this week. I've never used it before so we will see how she goes. In hind sight the 3 foot tall tent could have been a bit taller. 2x2x4 would have been perfect. More updates later After the last defoliation, there are 17 classes and some extra branching at the bottom. The end of next week should be the halfway point. I am really impressed with how frosty the colas are getting already. Maybe we should rename this staring frosted mini weeds :)

Day 28, everything is looking good I think. I did dial the lights back a bit as I was seeing some signs of light stress on the top leaves. The plant is using about a gallon of water per day at this point and is still pretty hungry. I am also starting to get a nice smell from the tent too. Ill switch up the notes next week for the ripening phase. From the growth I expect this to be a 9-10 week plant but we shall see 👀

Still having a bit of a challenge dialing in the notes. This grow is very hungry. Everything is overall looking very good. The stretch is over for sure. It did grow a bit taller than I had hoped but it seems to have worked out fine. I switched from potash to swell for the ripening phase.

I'm very impressed so far. The flowers are still stacking and getting fatter every day. The pistles are still almost all white. I'm actually surprised as how fat the colas are starting to get considering the grow set up. The smell is really starting to develop and has a sweet and spicy sort of smell. I do estimate it going the full 10 weeks. It os looking like it will be worth the wait :)

They are quickly putting on weight now. Still 3 or so weeks away but nice! I had to up the cyco swell because they are showing a potassium deficiency. The smells are starting to show too. It's a nice sweet smell.

Today is day 56. Due to me moving I'll have to chop right at day 60. With that being said though I'll be in the harvest window, just not as much as I'd like. Also, I accidentally broke a branch while adding nutes. Oh well. I put up a pic of that branch too. I am all around impressed with this grow. It was a hungry plant and wanted to get tall. I definitely recommend growing one.

Over all I am very happy with this grow. I used marshydro lights for the first time and they exceeded my expectations. The bud was pretty sticky. The harvest was spectacular given the space. 4.5 dried ounces of good bud, not popcorn and another ounce and a half of popcorn buds that I made about 40 prerolls with. I would definitely recommend apple fritter.
