1 Double Grape / 1 Sour Crinkle

--Week 1 Veg (10/1/2023) -- **10/1** I'm going to count Veg week 1 as October 1st. I'm doing this because I'm going to follow the Canna chart and it counts seedlings as 3-5 days. I did the minimum of 3 days and also grouped the DG together with it to make it easier. Distilled Water (0 EC) 1 ML/G Canna A 1 ML/G Canna B .5ML/G Silica 5 ML/G Rhizotonic 6.2 PH Total EC = .450 DLI12 24" **-10/2-** Increased DLI by 5 because of the DG stretching. Also dropped the lights to 18" and continued slightly increase EC. Added recharge after Nutes were prepped. It does add to the EC but Im gonna let it go. 75F/65H 18" DLI 12 Distilled Water 2ML/G Canna A 2ML/G Canna B 10MLRhizotonic 2ML/G Silica 2ML/G CalMag Recharge 1/4 tsp PH'd 6.2 EC= .725 **-10-4-** Double grape seems to have slowed its stretch. Light will be the same distance and Ive increase DLI by 3-4 and is now sitting at about 15-17 DLI. SCXGC is nearing the edge of the rim with DG having some catching up to do. Should be transplanting soon as the leaves are starting to get near the borders, DG is still a little behind but has caught up nicely. 18" DLI 17 Tap Water (EC=.250) 2.5ML/G Canna A 2.5ML/G Canna B 10MLRhizotonic 2ML/G Silica 2ML/G CalMag PH'd 6.1 EC= .800 --**10/9**-- Transplanted the girls into their final 5GAL homes. Same medium. I mixed in some Dyno and PH'd some tap water to 6.1. It took about 3 GAL total of PH'd water to get about half the container in runoff. EC was at .950 and PH at 6.4 I dug out 2 holes with the solo cups and dusted with Dyno, in the hole and as much on the roots as I could. I used very sharp shears to cut up and the bottom out of the solos. They girls easily slid out. Shouldn't be any shock whatsoever. The medium is the same EC and PH as the solo's. Coco looks dry because I added more to the top layer. Should help keep gnats out too. ***Start of Week 2 October 5th*** Quick review: I've been steadily increasing the EC and the DLI about twice a week but only 3DLI each time. I noticed so minor tip burning going on both ladies and "tacoing" on the DG. Temps and RH are pretty steady and within the range of VPD. Only thing it could really be is too much light which is weird because DG started pretty leggy. I dialed the DLI back a bit to 17 and raised the light to 21" Will continue to monitor the situation until the leaves open back up a bit. In regards to the slight nute burn, I've been increasing EC steadily and got up to 1.0 by diluting the measurements above. Id rather not have any so I also dialed back EC a bit and started to slide back. Highest feeding a few days ago was 1.0 EC but has steadily been decreased to .850 now. I'll also continue to monitor this. The runoff EC was really high at about 1500. I did a light flush. It took about a gallon each to flush it down to about 1000. I then decided to increase fertigation twice a day now to try and control the output. So both girls will be fed on a 12 hr schedule until flower. I've been giving Recharge every other watering to try and help any shock. Plant looks fine. I'm gonna keep it at .800 EC to see if the new growth have the burnt tips as well while keeping an eye on deficiencies.

++Start of Week 3++ October 12th - 18th I've been kind of dialing it back on the EC. I would just rather not see any burnt tips until flower. I've been holding steady at .8 EC. I upped the fertigation to twice a day every 12 hours and testing runoff has it within range of about ~150-200. I'm worried that the burnt tips may have slowed some growth so I decided to not top either of the girls and instead bought some lst clips and will be constructing the scrog. Busy few weeks and didn't have a lot of time to update. The girls seemed to have recovered after being nute burned. I lowered the EC from 1.0 back down to .7 about 10 days ago and have been keeping steady and just now creeping back up. It sits at .850 EC. I also lowered PH because of twisting issues I was seeing with the new growth. I was at 5.9-6.0 so I dropped it down to about 5.7 and have kept it there the whole time I kept EC low. Plants seem to be doing fine. While trying my hand at lst with some clips i accidently broke off a top. Effectively topping it at day 28. Pretty late but couldnt be saved. Im hoping silica and recharge will help any stress. I also broke the main stem on SCXGC and taped it back up. Its been healing for about a week or so and look fine. The only thing is I can lst it without fear of snapping it again so Im gonna let SCXGC go a bit. Work has really picked up and the plants remain squatty so I'm not sure Ill do a scrog and just keep doing bending/tucking.
