Welcome to another ridiculously detailed grow by Louder! If you've followed any of my diaries in the last 2 years, you'll see some familiar faces. King's Tart was so good I had to grow it again, hopefully mistake free. 10th Planet I've ran twice and Banana Daddy once. 10P has been very consistent in quality no matter what I've done. BD was slow growing and low yielding last time so I'm really hoping to get a big improvement here. We've got our cheat sheets and looking to smash previous yields. As always, there will be an absolutely shocking amount of notes with lots of updates! So let's get into it!! Without sets of true leaves, the plants aren't IN the vegetation stage yet. Once there's one set of true leaves, I'll start the fertigation schedule. When there's 5-7 sets of true leaves, the seedling period ends and the plant enters vegetation WEEK 1. Vibrant green colour, straight and sturdy stems on all. Humidity is a bit on the high side at night but it's better than being too dry at this stage. The seedlings are mostly taking water in through the leaves so we don't want to drown the fragile tap root with water. OXYGEN is more important to get roots growing quickly. __________ Sept 17 🌡️- 25.5c ✅ ❄️ - 21.8c ⬆️ 🌧️ - 72% ⬇️ ☁️ - 61% ✅ 📈 - 0.76 ✅ 📉 - 0.55 ✅ 📊 - 0.7 ✅ __________ Sept 18 🌡️- 25.5c ✅ ❄️ - 21.1c ⬆️ 🌧️ - 74% ⬇️ ☁️ - 59% 🆗 📈 - 0.62 ✅ 📉 - 0.58 ✅ 📊 - 0.6 ✅ _________________ Sept 19 Mix: 1ml CaMg, 1ml A, 1ml B, 1ml PB Tea : 2L water = 0.9 EC 💧: 250ml BD4 IN: 0.9 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 0.8 EC/5.8 pH (22c) BD5 IN: 0.9 EC/ 5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 0.8 EC/5.9 pH (22c) KT4 IN: 0.9 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 0.8 EC/5.8 pH (22c) KT5 IN: 0.9 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 0.8 EC/5.8 pH (22c) 10P6 IN: 0.9 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 0.8 EC/5.7 pH (22c) 10P7 IN: 0.9 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 0.8 EC/5.7 pH (22c) 🌡️- 26.1c 🆗 ❄️ - 22.4c ✅ 🌧️ - 82% ⬇️ ☁️ - 59% 🆗 📈 - 0.8 ✅ 📉 - 0.38 ⬆️ 📊 - 0.65 ✅ 2nd set of leaves are showing! The pots were light so I watered them all. Wanted some runoff just to see where the substrate is at. They haven't been fully saturated since the coco was buffered. I'd like to see the pH a bit higher but that's super easy to correct this early. I usually keep the fertilizing to a bare minimum at this stage but this time we're trying the @FrontRowAG_BrianG method of EC stacking right from the jump. If I have the logic correct, this involves starting out at a relatively high (but safe) EC and allowing the plant to get accustomed to high doses of nutrients earlier on in veg. The goal is to reach 1.8 EC by week 4. Provided the VPD is in check, this allows you to push the EC while it's in bloom to produce bigger yields. Go look at his diaries if you're skeptical. Going forward, I won't be getting much in terms of runoff (if any) and using scheduled flushes at the end of VEG, end of week 2 FLR and end of week 5 FLR. We're flushing for 2 weeks at the end (week 8/9). ___________ Sept 20 🌡️- 25.9c ✅ ❄️ - 22.5c ✅ 🌧️ - 87% ⬇️ ☁️ - 58%⬆️ 📈 - 1.15 ❌⬇️ 📉 - 0.39 ❌⬆️ 📊 - 0.74 ⬇️ • Humidity too high during lights off • Humidity too low during lights on It's been rough getting the VPD right lately. If I take the dome off, humidity plummets to 50%. If I leave it on, it skyrockets to near 90%. That being said, the seedlings look great. The pots are maybe halfway dry from the first fertilizing event so I'll give it another day or so before watering again. Only issue is 10P6 has a bit of a yellow leaf tip. ____________ Sept 21 🌡️- 26.1 ✅ ❄️ - 23.2 ✅ 🌧️ - 71% ✅ ☁️ - 58% 🆗 📈 - 0.99 ❌⬇️ 📉 - 0.72 ⬇️ 📊 - 0.88 ❌⬇️ • Dome off all day • Fan on aiming up (light rocking for seedlings) • Sprayed a mold killer on the seedlings (thought I saw WPM) • Looks like it was just diatomaceous earth I sprayed • Got a slumpy seedling (10P6), propped up _________ Sept 22 🌡️- 25.8c ✅ ❄️ - 22.8c✅ 🌧️ - 71% ✅ ☁️ - 62% ✅ 📈 - 0.81 ⬇️ 📉 - 0.7 ⬇️ 📊 - 0.79 ⬇️ _______________________________ SEEDLING WEEK 2 (Sept 23-29) TARGETS: • 22-25C • 65-75% • 0.42-0.72 VPD • 1.0 EC / 6.0 pH ✅ __________ Sept 23 🌡️- 26.1c ✅ ❄️ - 23.2c ✅ 🌧️ - 78% ✅ ☁️ - 54% ⬆️ 📈 - 0.85 ⬇️ 📉 - 0.55 ✅ 📊 - 0.76 🆗 • Changed light schedule to 18/6 • 3rd set of leaves showing _________________ Sept 24 (250ml) Mix: 1ml CaMg, 1ml A, 1ml B, 1ml PB Tea : 2L water = 1.0 EC BD4 IN: 1.0 EC/6.0 pH (22c) OUT: 1.1 EC/5.9 pH (23c) BD5 IN: 1.0 EC/6.0 pH (22c) OUT: 1.0 EC/6.0 pH (23c) KT4 IN: 1.0 EC/6.0 pH (22c) OUT: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (22c) KT5 IN: 1.0 EC/6.0 pH (22c) OUT: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (22c) 10P6 IN: 1.0 EC/6.0 pH (22c) OUT: 1.1 EC/5.9 pH (23c) 10P7 IN: 1.0 EC/6.0 pH (22c) OUT: 1.1 EC/5.8 pH (22c) 🌡️- 26.4c 🆗 ❄️ - 21.5c ⬆️ 🌧️ - 84% ❌⬇️ ☁️ - 59% 🆗 📈 - 0.85 ⬇️ 📉 - 0.4 ✅ 📊 - 0.62 🆗 Last watering was 5 days ago and the pots were super light. Still having an issue with low humidity...I'd like to keep a fan running to get the stems strengthened up but that erases the humidity I need. The second watering came with the pots about 50% dry. All are producing similar runoff values for now. 4 of 6 seedlings are looking pretty good with BD5 and KT4 looking the best. 10ths aren't doing as well. One needs to propped up or it will slump over sideways. They both have some yellowing crispy leaf edges as well. so maybe they can't handle what the others can. I'm a bit paranoid about spider mites and wpm this time of year, and at this early stage when they're so vulnerable. Just ordered an LED magnifier to confirm there isn't anything fucked going on. ___________ Sept 28 10ths are looking super weird. Slow and mutated growth, weak stems...nothing like I've seen out of the (now empty) 10 pack. The others have been given the exact same treatment and look totally fine. Don't think I'll waste much more time on them. There's something very special coming anyway 😉 ____________ Sept 29 🌡️- 26.4c ✅ ❄️ - 23.3c ✅ 🌧️ - 74% ✅ ☁️ - 52% ⬆️ 📈 - 0.76 ✅ 📉 - 0.67 ✅ 📊 - 0.7 ✅ There's at least 3 sets of true leaves now so I'm going to end the seedling stage and begin the vegetation stage. Getting some better VPD numbers last few days and the growth is showing. I did see a fungus gnat fly into the bottom of a pot so I fogged the room out with DE powder. So fucking tired of seeing these assholes. I'm positive they're from houseplants upstairs and from outside. I'd like to start buffering coco for transplanting but I'm worried the wet substrate will attract more of these dickheads.

VEGETATION WEEK 1 (Oct 1-7) ------------------------------------------------- We're starting the vegetation stage after about 2 weeks from open cotyledons. There's a few sets of true leaves and visible daily growth. Starting EC at 1.0 and will get to 1.2 at the end of the week. By raising the EC 0.2 per week, we'll be at 1.8-2.0 after 4-5 weeks and ready to go into bloom at high strength feeding. _______ Oct 1 • No water 🌡️- 26.9c ✅ ❄️ - 23.5c ✅ 🌧️ - 81% ✅ ☁️ - 67% ⬆️ 📈 - 0.76 ✅ 📉 - 0.67 ✅ 📊 - 0.7 ✅ ________ Oct 2 • No water • Hygrometer in other room for comparison _______________ Oct 3 (150ml) • Hygrometer in other room for comparison • 1.0 EC/6.0 pH • Added extra CFL light _________ Oct 4 • No water __________________ Oct 5 (250-300ml) Fed all pots @ 1.0 EC/6.0 pH and got a small amount of runoff from each. They were super dry because I've removed the domes permanently. Still getting some lower humidity (57%) but they seem to be happy. Shockingly, the Banana Daddy #5 is the largest plant so far. BD5 and both King's Tart are ready to be topped. ______________ Oct 6 (250ml) • Topped BD5/KT4/KT5 to 3rd node • All pots 75% dry • EC 1.0/6.1 pH 🌡️- 27.8c 🆗⬇️ ❄️ - 21.9c ✅ 🌧️ - 67% 🆗⬆️ ☁️ - 41% ❌⬆️ 📈 - 1.58 ❌⬇️ 📉 - 0.92 ❌⬇️ 📊 - 1.35 ❌⬇️ Brutal environment going on. Can't keep the humidity up and can't fit a dome on with the plants sizes. I've got 5 full 5 gallon buckets of water in a TINY area and can't get past 47%. Ambient humidity in the house is much lower now that I have to run the furnace. It was 27c outside on Wednesday and we got a high of 12c yesterday. ______________ Oct 7 (125ml) Pots are drying out super fast now, likely due to the hot and dry environment they're getting. Not sure how I'm going to water because my ph reader took a shit and I can't get it looked at until Tuesday. It's reading buffers 1.2 pH HIGHER (7.0 = 8.2) so I guess I'll have to wing it for now. So annoying.

A little more nitrogen in the mix and a foliar spray of MgS04 should do the trick. 3/6 plants are topped to the 3rd node. I might leave the other 3 because there's incredibly tight node spacing on the 10Ps and BD4. I would like to get 6 mainlines/manifolds but I'll take 3 if the others aren't going to be as tall. Still struggling with low humidity so I rinsed half a 5 gallon bag of coco and put it in the tent. ______________ Oct 9 • No water • 6 full buckets of water in the tent • 5 gallon bag of damp coco in the tent • STILL 47% HUMIDITY _________________ Oct 10 (300ml) Mix: 3ml CaMg, 2ml A, 2ml B, 2ml B52, 3ml PB Tea : 3L water = 1.2 EC • 1.2 EC/6.0 pH • Untopped plants are dry, topped plants 50% dry • Good amount of runoff ________________ Oct 11 (500ml) • Transplanted untopped plants to 1 gallon bags (10P6/7/BD4) _________ Oct 12 • No water ________________ Oct 13 (150ml) • Only watered the 4" pots • 1.2 EC / 6.0 pH __________________ Oct 14 (0.5-1L) • Watered all @ 1.5 EC / 5.8 pH Since I've had to start running the furnace, the humidity is impossible to get above 50% during the day. No signs of yellow tips so we push on. I want to be around 1.7 EC by the end of the week. Should easily get to 2.0 EC by week 5 at this rate. pH looks a bit low so the next watering will be a heavy one. I'll likely put at least 2L through each 1 gallon bag to boost the pH back into the 5.8 range. I'll be happy to switch my focus back to these when I chop everything in the bloom room. VEGETATION WEEK 5 (Oct 29-Nov 4) ------------------------------------- Possibly the last week of veg. I want them all topped twice before flipping to 12/12 so it may take a little longer. Slight signs of purple streaks so I'll increase the calmag dose this week. __________ Oct 29 • AM H202 treatment (BD4/5 & 10P7) (1/2L each) • Watered ALL (1-2L @ 1.8 EC / 6.2 pH) • Runoff 1.9 EC ✅ • 2nd topping on KT's _________ Nov 2 • 1.8 EC / 5.9 pH for KTs & BD4 _________ Nov 3 Mix: 12ml CaMg, 12ml A, 12ml B, 8ml B52, 10ml PB Tea: 9L water = 1.9 EC / 6.1 pH • Watered 10P6/7 & BD5 (2L each) --------------- Nov 4 Decided I'm going to let these veg at least 60 days. Have to get back to what's worked for me in the past. I've pulled 250+ gr. from 10th Planet before but lately I've only been getting 75-160 gr per plant. Yields like that aren't going to justify the amount of time and work put into this. Especially since I can pick up a zip of fire for 100 just about anywhere. I've stunted both King's Tart and BD5 by topping them to the 3rd node. They're so much smaller than the others with some really thin branching. They're going to need a lot of time to recover. The big 3 already have offset nodes and are ready for flowering. I'll continue topping them and spreading them out as wide as possible. I'll take my cuttings towards the end of bloom transition. Transplanting the big 3 to 5 gallon pots next week and the smaller 3 to 3 gallons. Moved them all into the main room and currently battling low humidity once again.

VEGETATION WEEK 6 (Nov 5-11) ------------------------------------------------ ___________ Nov 5 AM • Clocks back one hour • H202 treatment on all (1-1.5L each @ 4:1) 🌡️- 77.2F ✅ ❄️ - 71.6F ✅ 🌧️ - 65.3% ✅ ☁️ - 45.9% ❌ 📈 - 1.66 kPa ❌ 📉 - 0.94 kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.36 kPa ⬇️ Still struggling with low humidity during lights on. Got a bunch of 5 gallon pails in there to try to boost it. Probably won't be as bad after I transplant to larger containers but these 1 gallons dry out fast. I've got most plants topped twice now and the larger bottom fans removed. I'll let them go for the week to recover. After these dry out from the latest H202 treatment, they'll get the full feed at 2.0 EC. Haven't spotted any gnats since the move to the main room but that usually means eggs are about to hatch. I drenched them all to the point of runoff so I'm really hoping this is the last time. It's a lot easier to treat in smaller containers so I'm a bit hesitant to pot up until I know they're gone. ___________ Nov 6 AM • 1L each @ 1.5 EC/6.2 pH • 1x fungus gnat killed • 1x dead fungus gnat in the water bucket (w/ mosquito dunks) • Topping on some secondary branches • Removed some lower inside leaves and growth tips • 1x fungus gnat on the floor (PM) ___________ Nov 7 • No water • No gnats ___________ Nov 8 Mix: 8ml Silica, 12ml CaMg: 4L water = 1.5 EC • 1L @ 1.5 EC/6.2 pH (KTs & BD4) • No gnats Couple of days without spotting any gnats but I'm going to treat them again with H202 before transplanting just to make sure. ___________ Nov 9 • 1L @ 2.0 EC/5.8 pH (10Ps & BD5) • No gnats AM • Prepped new coco for transplanting ___________ Nov 10 * 1L @ 2.0 EC / 5.9 pH (KTs & BD4) * Better humidity (55%) during lights on * Filled 5 gallon bags * Transplanted 10Ps Spoke too soon. Found 2 gnats buzzing around the substrate of KT4. Killed one, couldn't find the other. So annoying. __________ Nov 11 🌡️- 77F ✅ ❄️ - 67.1 ⬆️ 🌧️ - 63.7% ✅ ☁️ - 54.7% ✅ 📈 - 1.38 kPa ⬇️ 📉 - 0.94 kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.20 kPa ✅ * Transplanted BD4 I'm knocking almost all the substrate off the roots when I'm transplanting so hopefully any gnat eggs will go with it. I need to wait at least 7 days between H202 treatments. Didn't see any this morning but now there's going to be more and more 5 gallon bags as the 1 gallons dry out in there so the moisture levels are going to stay higher for longer going forward. All the ETHOS plants look great, one of the BDs has a slight N deficiency but that's not a big deal. The KTs did not like the topping and they're still pretty small. The goal is to get the rest transplanted to 5 gallons ASAP and let them grow for another 2 weeks, then take my cuts. Will do the lower 1/3 clean up before flipping to bloom. Going for big plants this time.

VEGETATION WEEK 7 (Nov 12-18) ------------------------------------------------- __________ Nov 12 🌡️- 79.3F ✅ (Brief spike from furnace) ❄️ - 69.1F ✅ 🌧️ - 62.5% ✅ ☁️ - 53.1% 🆗 📈 - 1.60 kPa (brief spike with high temp) 📉 - 0.93 kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.19 kPa ✅ Mix: 12ml Silica, 20ml CaMg, 20ml A, 20ml B : 10L water = 2.4 EC + 3L = 2.0 EC • 2L each @ 5.8 pH • Transplanted KT5 & BD5 • Cut 2x BD4, 10P6, 10P7 clones • Pruned inner growth tips and 2nd node growth on secondary branches All the girls are potted up to their final containers. I knocked off all the old coco from the roots and sprinkled Myco in the planting holes. I put stakes into most of them, but the lights are too low to do them all. Humidity is coming up now that there's 30 gallons of substrate in the room. VPD is closer to the target range of 0.8-1.2 kPa. ___________ Nov 13 (4L) Mix: 18ml CaMg, 20ml A, 20ml B, 12ml B52 : 12L water = 2.6 EC+ 3L water = 2.0 EC / 5.8 pH Since there's a lot of new substrate, I wanted to give them all a good soak to bring the EC and pH closer to base. One gallon each produced a good amount of runoff. Happy to report that all containers are 2.1 EC or less and the pH is sitting pretty at 5.9-6.0. Some had EC as low as 1.6 so they are feeding heavily right now. I did a good amount of pruning on the lower third and bent everything down again. The canopy is nice and level right now so I'll let it grow up for the week and tie down again at the end. I'll likely turn on the 2nd lamp next week and space them out. With the transplanting, partial flush and pruning all done within 2-3 days, they will need some time to bounce back. The KTs are pissed but they'll get over it. We're doing a 60 day vegetation period to get these plants as big as possible before flipping to bloom. Growing them as wide and as low as I can, slowly tying big branches down, and then tying the secondary branches down as they shoot up. I'll keep the same feeding schedule as last time (maybe higher EC) but there's a few things I'll be doing differently: 1- All pruning and defoliating done one week before bloom. 2- Start bloom nutrients on day 1 of bloom (instead of veg nutes for the first week) 3- HPS bulbs in on day 1 of bloom (instead of Metal Halide for the first two weeks) 4- LST for week 1, spread out wide, then allow stretch 5- Defoliation at day 21 (none after) I've done all of these things before, just not all at the same time. Looking at past results, these were things that worked well. I've been trying to avoid letting the plants get tall, but my best yields came from plants that stretched like crazy. Adding these things to my current techniques, a better understanding of EC and NER, plus more control over VPD, I'm really hoping for 200-300g/plant here. I don't even think that's unreasonable with these genetics, as I've pulled 235 g from 10th Planet before. _________ Nov 14 • No water • Leaf temp of front left plant is 84F • Others are 78-80F • Raised lamp to 24" 🌡️- 77.2F ✅ ❄️ - 69.8F ✅ 🌧️ - 67.9% ✅ ☁️ - 58.9% ✅ 📈 - 1.29 kPa ✅ 📉 - 0.85 kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.11 kPa ✅ Great improvement in the environment and VPD. Trying to keep this going for the next 10 days or so. The highest VPD values are during the last 3 hours of the light cycle. This is when the temperature is at its highest and the humidity at its lowest. To compensate, I've been dimming the lamp to 50% to drop the temperature. _________ Nov 15 • No water 🌡️- 76.6F ✅ ❄️ - 66.2F ✅ 🌧️ - 63% ✅ ☁️ - 54.4% ✅ 📈 - 1.41 kPa ⬇️ 📉 - 0.83 kPa ✅ 📊 - 73.5F / 59.6% / 1.15 kPa ✅ ______________ Nov 16 (3L) Mix: 24ml CaMg, 24ml A, 24ml B, 20ml B52, 20ml PB Tea: 5 gallons water = 2.0 EC / 6.0 pH 10P6 IN: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 3.6 EC/6.0 pH (20c) 10P7 IN: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 2.9 EC/6.3 pH (20c) BD4 IN: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 3.1 EC/6.2 pH (20c) BD5 IN: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 2.3 EC/6.2 pH (20c) KT4 IN: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 2.7 EC/6.3 pH (21c) KT5 IN: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 2.8 EC/6.3 pH (21c) • Turned on 2nd lamp • Spaced plants out Runoffs are high for my tastes so I'm giving them a light flush with Silica and CaMg tomorrow. Two days without water and the EC has spiked big time. Temperatures are supposed to start dropping so I figured turning the 2nd lamp on won't hurt. Had to be done eventually and the girls have some elbow room now. This creates some extra heat so humidity will be a challenge once again. ____________ Nov 17 (2-3L) Mix: 20ml Silica, 20ml CaMg: 4 gallons water = 1.0 EC/5.7 pH • Runoffs between 2.1-2.3 EC 🌡️- 80.1F ✅ ❄️ - 66.2F ⬆️ 🌧️ - 62.9% ✅ ☁️ - 51.1% 🆗 📈 - 1.7 kPa ❌ 📉 - 0.84 kPa ✅ 📊 - 76.7F ✅ / 55.6% ⬆️ / 1.41 kPa ❌ Much more comfortable with the runoff values. I'd like to be within 0.5 EC from base so this will do just fine. There's no signs of nute burn so once these dry out in a few days I'll up the dosage to 2.2 EC. By the time we get to day 60 I want to be feeding at 2.4 EC, which is basically "full strength" with the bottle nutes I'm using. VPD is way out of range for the lights on period. I don't know how I'm going to fix it without actually buying a humidifier. The lamps aren't even at 100% yet and it's flattening the humidity. _______________ Nov 18 (3/4L) • Used up yesterday's mix • Low humidity at night (both lamps on 60%, intake on)

I was starting to see evidence of nute burn on a few leaf tips. Checked the runoffs and they were over 3. Dumped a few gallons into them this morning and I like the values a lot better now. Next fertigation will be tonight @ 1.8 EC (mostly CaMg to satisfy the cations). _________ Nov 26 No watering today. Also spotted and killed two fungus gnats. It's been at least a week since I've seen anything, so that's frustrating. I'm finding them upstairs around the houseplants so I'm blaming the wife for her bad watering practices. I'll have to grab some sticky traps, put out a bowl of vinegar and dish soap, drop the mosquito dunks into all my pails, mix up some h202...really wish these things would die already. _________ Nov 27 If anyone's wondering why this week is 9 days long, it's because that's when day 60 hits. The final day of VEG. Didn't want to make a full week post on a 3 day week. So the biggest yields I've had from these 10th Planets were off a 60 day veg (245 gr). The last time I grew Banana Daddy, the plants were probably half this size when I flipped to bloom. When I grew King's Tart last winter I didn't do mainlines either. I'm a bit all over the place, but there's zero harm in a longer veg period. If anything, they'll be stronger and more capable of supporting big buds. We're flipping to 12/12 on Wednesday night. This time no MH bulbs. HPS from day 1. I should still have room for the appropriate lamp to canopy distance if the plants double up. All defoliating and pruning was done over 5 days ago now. On Day 60 I'll tie all the branches down to spread them out as wide as possible and to level the canopy. I'll allow them to stretch until the end of week one, then tie down again. After that I'll just let them go (unless I run into height issues). I might skip the day 21 defoliation this time in favor of a completely stress free bloom period. It should also help keep the humidity up, which I'm sure I'll be battling all winter. • Changed lights to 16/8 • No water _____________________ Nov 28 (end of veg) Mix: 15ml CaMg, 15ml A, 15ml B, 15ml PB Tea: 2.5 gallons water = 2.3 EC +3L = 1.8 EC / 5.8 pH • 4L for 3/6 (AM) (others not fully dry) • 4L for other 3 (PM)

BLOOM TRANSITION WEEK 2 (Dec 6-12) --------------------------------------------------------------- ____________ Dec 6 (6L) Mix: 30ml CaMg, 36ml A, 36ml B, 25ml PB Tea: 5 gallons water (X2) = 2.0 EC / 5.9 pH This was a big day. Everyone got a good soak tonight. All pots except BD4 were super light so, 6L each to get runoff. Got about 1L from each, so kind of a flush, but with a 2 EC feed. I didn't measure the runoff, but I'd guess it's around 2.5-3.0. Not finding any burnt tips so I'll step it up to 2.2 EC next feeding. I defoliated pretty heavily. I don't usually do it until day 21 but I feel like it's better to do it early and let them recover before pistils start. The fan leaves absolutely reeked. Pure skunk, like fresh roadkill. I tied all the branches down so they're almost the same height as the beginning of week 1 now. I'll take a photo tomorrow morning to see if they bounce back. One of the King's Tart looks SUPER pissed off. They've been the divas so far. Lamps are still running at 75%. Probably keep them there until week 3 and send it. Environment has been nearly perfect outside of a brief spike at the end of lights on when I run the dehumidifier. _______ Dec 7 No water today. Will give them a good dose tomorrow night and check the runoffs. ______________ Dec 8 (6L) Mix: 30ml CaMg, 36ml A, 36ml B: 4 gallons water = 2.2 EC BD4 IN: 2.2 EC/5.9 pH (19c) OUT: 3.1 EC/5.9 pH (20c) BD5 IN: 2.2 EC/ 5.9 pH (19c) OUT: 3.0 EC/5.8 pH (20c) KT4 IN: 2.2 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 3.1 EC/5.6 pH (20c) KT5 IN: 2.2 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 2.8 EC/5.9 pH (21c) 10P6 IN: 2.2 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 3.3 EC/5.6 pH (21c) 10P7 IN: 2.2 EC/5.9 pH (20c) OUT: 3.6 EC/5.8pH (21c) • Pistils appearing all over Runoff EC is a bit high but there's an end of week flush with 1.0 EC CaMg/PK 14/15. This is just to get rid of the old nutrients built up over the veg period and kickstart blooming. I'm not seeing any signs of nute burn, just some slight purple streaking starting which should clear up after the flush. It's taking about 36 hours for the containers to fully dry out now so I'll stop watering on Monday and flush Tuesday (Day 14). _________ Dec 9 No watering until tomorrow night. I haven't done the Silica feeding yet this week so that's next. There's small budlets everywhere and the smell is building. Huge fan leaves all over the place once again so I may decide to defoliate again at the end of this week or next. The KT's are both throwing huge fans in the middle of the canopy and I'd like the secondary branching to have room to go up. _____________ Dec 10 (8L) Mix: 22ml CaMg, 22ml Silica, 12ml PK 14/15: 5 gallons water (x2.5) = 1.4 EC • All pots completely dry except BD4 BD4 IN: 1.4 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (21c) BD5 IN: 1.4 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 2.3 EC/5.9 pH (21c) KT4 IN: 1.4 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 2.4 EC/5.8 pH (22c) KT5 IN: 1.4 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 2.7 EC/5.9 pH (22c) 10P6 IN: 1.4 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 2.4 EC/5.8 pH (22c) 10P7 IN: 1.4 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 2.5 EC/5.8 pH (22c) Outside of KT5, all plants are down to 2.5 EC or less. No water tomorrow, flush at 1.0 EC on Tuesday, then back to regular bloom feed. I'll start at 2.2 EC and work up from there depending on how they respond. The room is basically full corner to corner now. Don't think I'll need to do too much more training, but more than likely another round of defoliating...I should probably prune all the little branches on the inside while I'm at it. Lamps go up to 100% start of week 3. ____________ Dec 11 • No water _____________________ Dec 12 (Flush: 8-10L) Mix: 5ml/g PK 14/15, 1.5ml/g CaMg = 1.3 EC / 6.1 pH • All plants but BD4 were dry • Defoliated all • Runoff 1.7-2.0 EC / 6.0 pH Great week, everythings running smoothly so far. The smallest plant (BD4) takes the longest to dry out. When all the others are bone dry, she's still got some moisture left. I'm going to try to water twice a day going forward. Not sure I want them to be drying out all the way anymore. My best run had me watering twice to three times daily. Will be looking to give them a small dose a few hours before lights off.

Need to keep the coco saturated, no more drying out. This stresses the plants from severe EC swings. When the coco is dry, the EC skyrockets. When it's wet, it's closer to base. We're going back to multiple waterings per day. 2 minimum, 3 is the target. I'll likely start decreasing the EC of the feed to allow for more frequent waterings without using up all my bottle nutes too quickly. We're looking alright so far...KTs still have some super tiny buds vs the rest of the room. They also didn't stretch nearly as much as last time when I ran MH bulbs for bloom transition. Did a very light defoliation, the last until week 8/9. Looking forward to the next 3 weeks

-------------------------------------------- BLOOM WEEK 4 (Dec 20-26) -------------------------------------------- _____________ Dec 20 (4L) * 2.4 EC / 6.2 pH Haven't measured runoffs in a while so I'm going to do that at the next watering event. I've kept the coco moist for the last few days so it shouldn't take much to get a good runoff. I might have to 86 one of the King's Tart. It appears it is herming. I picked some sus looking balls this morning 🤬. No clue what would've done this, as the conditions have been nearly perfect and VERY consistent. We'll see...gonna keep a close eye on it. ___________ Dec 21 (AM) * 2L each @ 2.2 EC /6.2 pH ___________ Dec 21 (PM) 4L each BD4 IN: 2.2 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 3.7 EC/6.0 pH (21c) BD5 IN: 2.2 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 4.3 EC/5.7 pH (22c) KT4 IN: 2.2 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 5.8 EC/5.6 pH (21c) KT5 IN: 2.2 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 4.4 EC/5.6 pH (20c) 10P6 IN: 2.2 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 4.8 EC/5.7 pH (21c) 10P7 IN: 2.2 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 4.0 EC/5.9 pH (20c) Runoffs are high... If it wasn't for the VPD being in range, these would've probably been cooked. If transpiration was too high here, these girls would be chugging 4+ EC. Maybe they can take it, but I don't want to risk it. I've been lucky to have near perfect conditions all the way so far. Some of my lower leaves are getting brown and crispy but I think that's because of the fans. There's ZERO leaf tip burn and that's really surprising. Regardless, I'm still not liking the numbers. I'd like to see the pH around 5.8-6 coming out and the EC way closer to base (+0.5) so it looks like I'm going to flush a lot sooner than the scheduled week 5. I'll use a 1.0 EC/6.3 pH mix of just CaMg and PK 14/15. With Christmas lurking I'll have to do this ASAP. _________ Dec 22 Missed watering because Christmas obligations have begun. All pots are basically dry. I'll be able to flush tonight. Will try to pour at least 3 gallons through each container @ 1.0 EC/6.3 pH. _______________ Dec 23 (12-14L) BD4 IN: 1.0 EC/6.3 pH (20c) OUT: 1.2 EC/6.3 pH (22c) BD5 IN: 1.0 EC/6.3 pH (20c) OUT: 1.8 EC/6.0 pH (23c) KT5 IN: 1.0 EC/6.3 pH (20c) OUT: 2.0 EC/5.9 pH (22c) 10P6 IN: 1.0 EC/6.3 pH (20c) OUT: 2.0 EC/5.8 pH (22c) 10P7 IN: 1.0 EC/6.3 pH (20c) OUT: 2.0 EC/6.0 pH (23c) 🌡️- 79.9 F ⬇️ ❄️ - 65.1F 🆗 🌧️ - 61.8% ✅ ☁️ - 50.1% ✅ 📈 - 1.57 kPa ⬇️ 📉 - 0.98 kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.23 kPa ✅ Rough day. Had to destroy KT4, obvious male flowers starting to come up everywhere. This is the kind of thing that bothers me with feminized seeds. Is the breeder to blame here? The other 5 plants are thriving and everything gets the same treatment so I don't understand what I did. Tired of wasting my time on an otherwise healthy looking plant for 10+ weeks only to destroy it. Fuckin brutal. Dumped 3 gallons through each bag and got some less intense runoffs. pH came up nicely too. I'll go back at them with full nutes once they're almost dry. ____________ Dec 24 (4L) • 2.0 EC / 6.0 pH • Took 4L to get 0.5L of runoff It was surprising to see how much they drank today after the drenching they took last night. They'll get a similar feeding again tomorrow night. Might've been a calyx, but I picked something suspicious off KT5...Gotta keep a close eye on her now...I might have another one go down before weeks end 🤬 ____________ Dec 25 (4L) * 2.0 EC / 6.0 pH * Runoff bucket @ 2.7 EC So I think I've got both 10th Planet phenos in the room. After growing 6 of these, I know there's only two. The blueberry muffin terps are strong on one, and the gassy grape on the other. Have cuttings of both on week 2 veg. No signs of balls on KT5 but still the smallest buds of all plants and will certainly be the lowest yielder. Although it's impossible to see from my photos, the Banana Daddy's have a distinct red tint inside all the flowers. Will try to get in there with a magnifier. I'm hoping this is a sign that we'll have DEEP, dark colours on them. They smell like a tropical fruit salad. I clipped a few large fans blocking the middles on the bushier plants and that should be it for defol. Keeping the rest for photosynthesis and stored nutrients later in bloom. Having some big fans helps them dry a bit slower too when it's time to harvest. _____________ Dec 26 (4L) • 2.2 EC / 6.0 pH • Runoff bucket @ 3.6 EC Bittersweet week. Outside of the destroyed plant, the others are doing really well. EC is climbing pretty fast though. I saw a fungus gnat yesterday so I've been hesitant to water before lights off. Looking at past notes, the gnats showed up when I started watering 3 times a day so I may just opt for heavier waterings. There's definitely a sweet spot in coco between not enough water and getting fungus gnats. It's a fine line. Temperatures are WAY above seasonal here (10c/50F almost all week) and the rain has kept the room humid (this is good). However, it seems the gnats have resurrected during this wet spell. I do want to start lowering temps and humidity soon so I'm hoping for some cooler temperatures outside.

------------------------------------------------- BLOOM WEEK 5 (Dec 27-Jan 2) ------------------------------------------------- ___________ Dec 27 • No water ________________________ Dec 28 (2L in AM/4L PM) • 1.1 EC / 6.1 pH (AM) • Silica + CaMg only • 2.3 EC / 6.2 pH (PM) Things look good and smell good. There's a deep red tint in a lot of the flower (see slide 6). It's not that frosty yet, but I have to remember it's only day 30. A lot of big colas already, been a while since I had production like this so early. _______________ Dec 29 (2L AM) • 2.3 EC / 6.2 pH (PM) ________________ Dec 30 (8L PM) BD4 IN: 1.8 EC/6.0 pH (18c) OUT: 2.6 EC/6.2 pH (20c) BD5 IN: 1.8 EC/6.0 pH (18c) OUT: 3.2 EC/5.8 pH (20c) KT5 IN: 1.8 EC/6.0 pH (18c) OUT: 2.9 EC/5.8 pH (20c) 10P6 IN: 1.8 EC/6.0 pH (18c) OUT: 3.4 EC/5.7 pH (19c) 10P7 IN: 1.8 EC/6.0 pH (18c) OUT: 3.3 EC/5.8 pH (20c) Runoffs are ok...only a few more days until I flush with PK 14/15. There's signs of a phosphorus deficiency with pink/purple petioles, bronze spots and leaf tips, crispy, necrotic lower leaves. New growth is looking a little lighter than it should be too. The petioles might just be genetic but when I see other symptoms attached, I'm leaning towards a deficiency. The next few weeks are crucial to gain mass so the last thing we want to see is a lack of P or K. Potassium (K) will soon be the dominant nutrient and it relies partly on phosphorus for uptake. I'll probably start watering less to keep oxygen levels higher in the root zone to help keep P mobile. _____________ Dec 31 (4L) Mix: 20ml CaMg, 20ml Silica: 5 gallons water • 1.4 EC / 5.9 pH IN ___________ Jan 1 (2L) • 2.3 EC / 5.9 pH _______________ Jan 2 (12-14L) Mix: 18ml CaMg, 18ml PK 14/15: 20L water • 1.0 EC / 5.9 pH BD4 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c) OUT: 1.7 EC/6.1 pH (21c) BD5 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c) OUT: 1.6 EC/5.9 pH (22c) KT5 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c) OUT: 1.7 EC/5.8 pH (22c) 10P6 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c) OUT: 1.6 EC/5.7 pH (21c) 10P7 IN: 1.0 EC/5.9 pH (19c) OUT: 1.5 EC/5.9 pH (20c) Got a good flush done to set these girls up for the next 2 weeks. Just CaMg and PK Spike. This should handle any P deficiencies and allow them to start using stored nitrogen. My leaves seem to always be green until the end and that probably means too much N. 🌡️- 79.7F ✅ ❄️ - 64.9F 🆗 🌧️ - 57.7% ✅ ☁️ - 48.3% ✅ 📈 - 1.67 kPa ⬇️ (brief spike) 📉 - 1.02kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.28 kPa ✅ Average temperature sits around 74F and humidity averages at 54%. Had to tie up some branches on BD5 as they were starting to topple over. Nice to see some good production out of this strain. Last time it was the best smelling and tasting in the room, but the lowest yielder. There's some big colas on BD5 and 10P7, beer can size. Happy to have cuts of both. The KT still has small buds but all white pistils and appears to be starting it's stacking phase. It's crazy frosty and looks like a 9-10 week finish. May let them all go 63-70 days depending on trichomes. Not looking for a ton of amber, just don't want any clear. There's some yellow leaf tips that appeared after the last mini flush (and days of water in a row), so this is a sign of overwatering. Making more sense looking at past notes. Previous diaries where I would water VERY frequently (but underfertilizing) I'd see leaf tips yellowing and back off the EC. That's a mistake. We're not doing that again. Allowing the substrate to dry out more frequently has built up a tolerance for high EC. Next week I'll be feeding around 2.2-2.4 EC. This isn't even full strength according to Advanced Nutrients bottle directions. They ask for 4ml a litre and I'm between 2-3ml/L. Shouldn't be worried about overfeeding, I should almost be increasing the EC closer to 3. My runoffs have been fairly consistently over 3 and as high as 5.8.

Runoff is over 5.0 EC and I'm seeing some slightly burnt tips, maybe it's time to dial back the feed strength. VPD has been hanging around 1.5 so they still dry out quickly. One week left until flushing begins. There's ripening pistils on all but KT so far. Found a few unopened bananas starting on 10P7. Too late to do anything now. Probably not enough time to do much, if any, damage. She's got way leafier colas than I've had out of 6 seeds of this strain so far. Advertised to have "bare-minimum" leaves and she certainly does not. Tomorrow (Start of week 7) I'll put 6-8L through at a lower EC. Just CaMg, Silica and PK 14/15 @ 1.5 EC or lower, then resume bloom feeding at 1.8 EC.

This week I'm dropping the temps and humidity. Colours have already begun to show themselves and the trichomes are building. There's a lot of cloudy and a few have traces of amber already (Day 43). Last week of nutrients as they look to be getting ready for a day 56-60 chop. KT might take an extra week so I'll keep feeding her. There's massive colas (for me) on BD5 and 10P7. _______________ Jan 10 PM (4L) Mix: 18ml CaMg, 36ml Overdrive, 20ml PK 14/15, 25ml Compost Tea: 5 gallons water • 1.7 EC / 6.2 pH ________________ Jan 11 AM (4L) Mix: 18ml CaMg, 36ml Overdrive, 20ml PK 14/15, 25ml Compost Tea: 5 gallons water • 1.7 EC / 6.2 pH Runoffs are around 3 EC. Because the last 3 watering events have been light and the EC is increasing, tells me they're feeding less. I'll check them all more closely at the end of the week. Flushing will start on Wednesday and I'm going to water like normal this time, no heavy dumpings. Just a bit of runoff each time. The smells are intoxicating right now. The frostier 10th Planet is giving off a grape Dimetapp cough syrup aroma (80's kids get it), super artificial and pungent. Almost candy-like. The other has a strong blueberry muffin nose on her. KT has a lemony cake profile that's really nice. A bit of that spicy, skunky cat piss as well. BD5 has big tropical terps, while the smaller, frostier BD4 is the gassy Fruit Stripe gum pheno. I'll start labelling photos more next week when I defoliate. As the grow winds down, I'm getting excited for once. Heavy looking yields for 2 plants, and medium for the others. Even though I had to 86 a plant that hermed, it's going really well. _______________ Jan 12 AM (4L) Mix: 24ml CaMg, 36ml Overdrive, 20ml PK 14/15, 24ml PB Tea: 21L water = 1.7 EC • Very little runoff _______________ Jan 13 (4L) • 1.7 EC / 6.2 pH • Watered at 3 AM It's tough not clipping the large fan leaves, but I will at the end of the week. I took the scissors out of the room a few weeks ago so I don't get tempted 😂 _______________ Jan 14 (2L) • 1.4 EC / 6.2 pH • Watered at 12 AM • Tied up stalks on BD5/10P7/KT5 These girls are still stacking up big time. I think we might even reach or surpass the 200-250 gram per plant target! Trichomes are coming in thick with the lower temperatures. Branches are starting to topple over so I had to tie them up. Didn't want to mess with them too much this week but it is what it is. _______________ Jan 15 (6L) • 1.4 EC / 6.2 pH • Watered at 530 AM (2L) A frosty sea of red appears when the lamps come on. The lower temperatures are paying dividends for the aesthetics. I'm hoping the resin content is there as well. Tufts of white pistils are pushing out as the calyxs swell and burst. They'll get another 4L each tonight at the lower EC. ____________ Jan 16 (6L) * 0.6 EC / 6.3 pH * Big defoliation

-------------------------------------------- BLOOM WEEK 9 (Jan 24-30) -------------------------------------------- GOALS: - Plain water only flush start of week ✅ - Reach 0.3 EC or less - Harvest BD5 after flush - Harvest rest by end of week Pretty straight forward week...BD4 and KT5 look like they need longer. BD5 was ready at day 53 _______________ Jan 24 (4-12L) • 0.3 EC (Tap water) / 6.5 pH (10-12L BD5/10P7) • 0.5 EC (FF) / 6.5 pH (6L rest) BD5 - 0.5 EC runoff 10P7 - 0.6 EC runoff _______________ Jan 25 (4L) • 0.3 EC / 6.5 pH _______________ Jan 26 (2L) • 0.3 EC / 6.5 pH _______________ Jan 27 (4L) • 0.3 EC / 6.5 pH Lots to catch up on. Really busy week installing and trimming out a custom bookcase I built for a client so my notes are basic af. The last 3 weeks or so I've been experimenting with Controlled Drought Stress. I've been letting the pots dry out completely between waterings (which almost everybody says you can't do with coco), but not to the point of drooping. I've simultaneously dropped the humidity to 40-45% max. I don't have the data but there were multiple sources confirming the cannabis plant will produce trichomes as a defense mechanism against dry conditions. I do see a difference from the last time I ran all 3 of these strains. The proof will be in the smoke. If I see a larger, drippier resin ring on my joints I'll know for sure. Flowers are all completely covered in frost, with King's Tart looking like the winner for resin production. This is the second week of flushing. The first week using Flawless Finish to chelate nutrients from the substrate, and this week with pH 6.5 water only. I purposely pH out of range because I don't want the plant to feed from the substrate. The plant will use up the stored nutrients, especially excess phosphorus, instead. In theory this produces cleaner smoke. The ashes will tell the story here. Targeting a day 63 harvest provided the runoff EC is 0.3 or less after the next flush _________ Jan 28 Didn't water because I was watching the 49ers and Lions. Will give them a final flush tonight. Some of the biggest, if not the biggest buds I've grown to date. Here's some things that I think helped: - EC stacking (thanks Brian) - Near perfect VPD - Very little defoliation - Waiting until containers dried out to water - No PK deficiencies (no purple streaks) I think the biggest reason the buds were large is that I left the fan leaves on until late bloom. While a lot of growers seem to believe removing leaves makes buds bigger, I don't see the correlation. Leaves are like solar panels for your plants, absorbing light energy and converting it (photosynthesis). Removing them makes no sense. Buds don't grow bigger because light hits them, It's the leaves that need the light. They use up the nitrogen from the bloom mixes and are a source of nutrition during flushing. They also provide an exit for moisture inside the buds during drying via the petioles into the leaves. ____________ Jan 29 (4L) • 0.3 EC / 6.5 pH ____________ Jan 30 (8L) • 0.3 EC / 6.5 pH ________ Jan 31 No water. Lights out at 7 AM, begin 24 hr dark before harvesting. **CHOPPED FEB 1 (Day 65)** Hang drying at 61F / 59% To make the harvest report easier, I'm not posting the harvest week until the smoke report is done. Likely 3-4 weeks until then. Thanks for sticking around!

Hang dried for 16 days at 60F / 60%. Lots of colour, almost red. The buds feel dryer than I'd like, but there's still some bend in some of the larger branches. Trimming begins tonight.

Hang dried for 16 days at 60F / 60% humidity. Still haven't weighed or even smoked all 5 yet, Trimming finished last weekend and into Grove bags for a while. They were mostly overdryed 👎
