First experiment with autos. They were sent as a freebie and don’t know who the breeder is. Pics are a week after I sprouted them in a paper towel. Received first light feeding a couple days after these pics were taken.
First time auto grower. Grown photoperiod for about 8-9 years. It’s the end of week 2 from sprouting in a paper towel. Gave first feed at the beginning of week 2. Seems to have really taken off.
Week three of first auto grow. Day 21. Started LST a couple days ago. Just tied down the tops. This week I will start tying down the side branches. Stems are very thick. Plant #1 has started popping out hairs. Plant #2 is a little behind. No hairs yet. They both have very thick foliage and leafy. Will receive second feed this week at some point.
We are now on day 29. Flowering has started. LST was done last week. I did a light defoliation. They are so thick with leaves I may need to do another. I don’t generally defoliate my photoperiods. But these Autos are unbelievably thick with foliage. It’s crazy to see how these grow after doing photoperiods for many years.
It’s the end of week 5 (day 35). The stretch is on. Plant #2 has doubled in size and #1 has added 1/3. Started to show signs of what looks like a calcium deficiency. I gave it a hard rinse to make sure PH was proper. Then after soil dried I gave a good feed (including cal/mag). Like I’ve said before, this is my first auto grow. Can’t wait to see what the next week brings.
