Jiffy germination peat tablets were used for germination. Seeds were put there straight out of the capsule, I haven't put the seeds into the water as I had done before for previous grows.
Both seedlings in peat tablets were put in an own fabric pot (15l each) on 20 Sept 2023.
The soil was mixed with Top Crop Micro Vita powder (5g to15l) and put in each pot onto the layer of expanded clay balls.
One leave of one of two plants was damaged, thanks to my dog.
The grow-tent is IKEA tent, it is open. The temperature is a bit high, so I'm going to add a fan to make it cooler. Also reflecting coverage inside is planned.
Everything goes well. I have added a fan for an air flow, it reduced a bit the temperature inside the tent. Also I've made the first watering at day 12, about 2 liters per each 15l pot and added some soil, because the original soil has subsided. I used BAC foliar spray to spray leaves of the palnts
I started LST at 18th day and also used Top Crop Big One fertiliser as a spray for leaves. The plants have a bold stem but not a big height, maybe the light is too intensive. But overall look of the plants is healthy, so it seems that everything is going well. At day 18 I watered the plants in the morning, it was the first big watering from the germination, I spent about 3 litres of water for each plant. I used LST in the evening of day 18. At night once the lights were off I sprayed some quantity of Top Crop Big One on the leaves (concentration about 2ml/l, I spent about 150ml)
On the first day of 4th week (day 22) pre-flowering started. LST is going. The one in the white pot develops faster. By the end of the week she has noticeable flowers and some violet hints which will give a red strawberry distinctive colour to buds later.
I don't know the nutes your using and I don't see you keeping track of EC, but it looks like mag def, if u have calmag hit it with that or adjust main nutes. I don't see any Nute burn so u may be able to get away with upping the levels across the board, but your probably better off just hitting it with some calmag.
At day 31 big watering was done, 3.5l per each pot.
2ml/l Top Auto, 1.5 ml/l Big One и 0.8 ml/l Top Candy. Micro Vita 0.2 g/l.
The same day B.A.C. foliar spray was used for the leaves.
The plant in white pot is developing faster. I swapped the pots, maybe another lamp will accelerate the plant in a second pot.
At day 44 plants were watered with about 3 liter of fresh water w/o any nutrients. I measured TDS of the drainage, it was kinda high, about 1600 ppm. But plants in general seem to be in a good condition. I had to remove some leaves to improve air flow and give more light to lower buds.
I think in a couple of days I'll add some nutrients for watering, so I'll update this week description. Only B.A.C. foliar spray was used by the end of the day.
Both plants show that coloured genetics and look amazing.
The leaves got yellow earlier than I expected. I've removed some yellow leaves. It seems the next week will be the last.
I watered the plants two times: with clean water and other time with fertilisers.
On some bottom eve I've notice a white powder - it's mold. So I had to spray some organic anti-mold thing to prevent it's spreading.
I used 3 litres of clean water for each plant for watering. The next watering is with nutrients.
This is the last week. I noticed some white powder on lower leaves again and decided, that it's better not to wait more. On the day 73 both plants were harvested.
In general I like this strain. I had some issues with mold white powder on lower leaves. At the same time there was another strain from SW — +speed and it wasn't affected. So it seems that the resistance of the strain is not the best. Another thing is that it was too short so LST was really hard to do. Maybe that's my fault because of too intensive light.
But the look and smell is amazing.
