☘️ Soil Preparation:
Drained pete from Coco Coir to fill up a 4 gal bag. Then submerged material bag with coco into 150% strength CalMag mixture for 8 hours, drained the CalMag and replaced with a fresh mixture for another 8 hours. (Double Buffer)
💦 Germination Method:
Placed seed into water for 24 hours. Then into a cup on double buffered Coco Coir and into a cupboard. I placed the cup into a glass bowl and onto a warm eater bottle that keeps rotating.
Day 1 - She popped out after 4 nights in the dark warm cupboard. I moved her into the window for the next week or so while my other plant is drying in the tent.
Day 7 - Today I transplanted her into her final 4gal home. I also started a light feed.
Day 10 - 48 hours after transplant and she's stabilized and growing fast. I started feeding 0.5ml/l today.
Day 13 - The second set of real leaves are there now and of good size. This plant seems to be ahead of my other plants. Earlier transplant is the only difference do far in the process.
Day 15 - She's going strong! A bit on the tall side for my tent size at this stage but given I'll be topping her, it shouldn't be a problem.
Day 17 - The veg boom has begun! She's adding thickness daily and new leaf growth is visible.
Day 21 - Veg boom is well on it's way. She's gained incredible thickness in the stem and is looking very healthy.
Day 23 - Increased nutrient strength today to 0.65ml. Will be keeping a close eye on her now to decide when to do the top.
Day 25 - Topped her today above the 4th leaf node. Now we hope for a good recovery after topping into week 5.
Day 26 - Topped recovery after 24h went really well.
Day 29 - Increased nutrients to 0.75ml/L. I am also waiting on some green garden wire that should be arriving today so that I can start with the LST. She's looking great after the top.
Day 32 - I started with LST today - tying down the main 8 branches to the sides of the pot.
Day 33 - Today I tied down the 2 main branches from the topping spot. I also removed 2 giant fan leaves that was blocking light and making lst harder.
Day 35 - She's responded beautifully to the LST and light defoliation. This brings week 5 to a close and at this stage she is well ahead of my previous grows.
Day 36 - She's becoming bushy and starting to show the main bud sites.
Day 40 - Removed some of the bottom inside fan leaves today to better the air circulation. Also pinched off some bud sites on the lower branches that won't make it out the canopy.
Finally I re adjusted all of my LST wires to spread her wide open for more light penetration.
Day 42 - Great bounce back from the LST adjustments. Starting to take on her full shape before the stretch now.
Day 43 - Removed some big fan leaves and bottom plant shooters.
Day 49 - Adjustable all the LST wires this week and increased water volume to 1.5L. She's ready to start the flower this week and the space is ready for the stretch.
Day 50 - Today I increased the nutrients to 1ml per liter. I also started giving more water 1.5L. I tied down some of the side shoots that were breaking the canopy height and removed some bottom shoots and fan leaves.
Day 62 - Hello Flower STRETCH! We are off to the races, the stretch is looking amazing and filling out the canopy evenly. Budsites are getting bigger day by day and she's giving a light smell.
