All 3 seeds gave in a nice results bumping out from the soil. At first I was wondering if i didn't put them in soil too quick, thankfully seems to be working perfectly fine! Unfortunately forgot to label them once i have put them into the soil, will fix it up once i will be able to spot how plants will look like later on.
They were put into the soil at 11th September, at 19th all three seedlings are visible now :D Hopefully i will keep they growing nicely!
Not much was happening during this time. Two out of three plants are experiencing fast growth, one is lacking in it's development but i'm still good faith
Tragedy happened! After coming back home from weekend outing with family I started to check on my plants and on theirs growth and.... the most fragile one snapped between my fingers :( Immediately tried taping it up and helping it out with support. Hopefully i acted fast enough and plant have enough will to survive. Let's pray for the best 🙏
Last time i have put the comment for my plants i have had the diesel seedling die on me, At same time i have planted second seed of that genetics into same soil, and it just shoot out quickly. Even though the plant is 2 weeks younger(my mistake with dating weeks! A newbie mistake one would say) it jumped up and quickly matched up to Gorillas when it comes to it's size, and flowering stage.
I didn't had enough time to properly document all the growth of the plant, have photos for majority of it but i lost all commentary i had written. Luckily i was really lucky with those plants. They are really showing off results of my care put into them. Flowers look wonderful on all three plants and i can't wait for end of november/early december harvest :D
As those were my first plants ever i find that they were quite resilient. Both Gorilla plants were short. Probably it was related to light fatigue, as my lamps were checked by distance and not PPFD, unfortunately it was giving way too much light and heat on the poor plants.
Next tries will for sure be done while it was adjusted. Besides 24g of buds that were big enough to be smokable, i have had 14g of trim material that i used for cannabutter. Both tops and butter are nice and effective keeping you glued to yours couch. Love the sensation, but due to how poor my grow skills are so far i know those plants could have been much more potent.
It was a wonderful three months. Loved every second even though i have had to fight some bug invasion on my flat that were lured in by the potent smell. Buds smoke and vape perfectly, rich in the herbal and pungent taste. Don't have THC tester on hand but i believe based on my experience it would be around 13-ish% THC, effects are nice, full but short lasting.
Can't wait for second run of this strain once i will have some more experience :)
I... don't know really what to think about the strain. Strain had issues from very beginning, however though it was resistant enough to survive through all of it. First seed was dragging behind compared to rest of the plants. Now after some time passed i see the mistakes of running completely different strains for first grow. All unexpected issues that were showing up, were mostly related to the fact... i had no clue what i'm doing :D
Second seed was growing a bit slower until it's hit it's growth spurt during flowering, where the plant doubled in height in two-ish weeks. Probably mediocre effects are due to humidity not being at stable values and lamp could generate too much heat. Gonna invest in voltage controller for next grows to have some more control in those aspects :D
Three plants and just 38g... on one hand it's almost nothing and it's amount that will be just enough for working on the next grow cycle with medicating. However... I'm really proud that i was able to grow something that have had effect and interesting flavour and effects. All of the mistakes from this grow will be taken into consideration while working on next grow cycle :) Let's hope I will just grow!
