9/20/2023. Things have been going great! I topped and gave first dose of NUTES 9/15.
I obtained ILGM Nutes as an uninformed 1st time grower. Also, got 1 strain of seeds from weedseedsexpress. Germ 2 seeds, both growing strong, but they look completely different! I can't help but wonder to what strains these plants actually belong.
The NUTES were given at 1/2 strength. FB responded well. #2 responded with Nitrogen Toxicity, displayed as claws appearing on top 2 sets of leaves leaf tips, but only the 3 center leaflets. Seems to be growing well again after 2 rounds of full watering until runoff. The FFHF & FFOF w/30% perlite seem to be working well for grow medium.
Not sure I should keep using the ILGM nutes.
9/24/2023. Decided to keep using ILGM nutes in lower concentration.
I got the light up to 100% over several days, some of the leaves started showing signs of light burn. Adjusted light back to 80%, will probably leave it there until flowers.
Performed a second topping on one branch on one plant as an experiment.
Added custom SCRoG setup. Fixed wooden dowels front and back. Using garden wire where needed to level out the canopy.
The custom SCRoG is great. The wires slide, easily adjustable. Love it!
The ‘water wick’ adds 8-10% humidity, nice easy way to adjust climate. Love it!
There’s something off about the ILGM NUTE Line. They suffer mild nutrient burn. Hate it!
Now that I know better, there’s no plan to struggle with it again after this grow.
10/08/2023. Flip to Flower!!! Doing a 3 day transition to 12-12 light schedule. Continuing SCRoG adjustments daily. The stretch is evident in newest growth. Now it’s time to let them grow!
10/10/2023. Cruising right along. Water every other day (alternating plain RO water , RO w/NUTES)
10/12/2023. Gotta get some trimming done…tomorrow.
10/15 Added CAL-MAG. Still using ILGM NUTES.(50% of full strength). Vertical growth is accelerating. Bud sites should start appearing very soon.
10/17 Found calyx!
10/22. Had a temporary drought a few days ago, but they recovered. Flower sites are developing nicely. The SF2000 light is working very well in 2x4 tent. Currently at 90% power, 15” above canopy. Max = 100%, 12”.
10/25. With some bending, light is still at 15”. 80% power seems to work best. The osc.fan goes off every other hour. 190 cfm Vent stays on 24/7. Got nutes going well.
10/29/2023. Defoliated on Flowering Day 21. Nutes at full strength, CalMag at full strength. Given every other watering for next few weeks. Flowers looking pretty cool.
11/02. Posted vid showing massive trichome production.
11/5/2023. Growth continues to go well. Smells really good when up close to the flowers, but, generally weak smell overall in the grow room at this time.
11/9/2023. Opened the tent this morning and was met with the most wonderful aroma! Carbon filter works great.
11/12/2023. Smells great! Kinda fruity. Buds are fattening. Maintaining good nutes until flush time.
11/17/2023. Buds are fattening nicely! Just under 3 weeks to Harvest.
11/19/2023. Got leaf edge burn in the older leafs. I believe is due to heat & light stress. Watching closely to make sure need for adjustment is identified early.
11/26/2023 Got about 10% amber trichomes. Begin flushing soil with plain RevOsm water. Maintaining good humidity around 50% most of the time. Airflow is proper. Ventilation rocks. Freakin’ beautiful flowery sisters. Yep, these are from the same seedpack obtained from Weedseedsexpress.com. Feminized Blackberry Moonrocks. I’m guessing their differences are due to wildly different phenotypes. The new grow is 2 more from same seedpack.
11/30/2023 Looks like Saturday will be the day. Both are coming down followed by wet trim, then hang for 7-10 days. Got a dehumidifier that actually works. That Pelletier technology ain't gonna cut it. But this will:
